Contract Marriage: The Lycan Queen's Tempting Fate [GL]

Chapter 58: Yeah… We Got To Heaven?!

[SAKURA]

Izanami Watanabe.

That woman was the reason Sakura had managed to keep going with the pets even until morning came. Sakura had been tired for days on end, but the night with her pets had certainly worn her out.

One thing, however, that the pets had noticed, was that the queen hadn't let them touch her cunt. It was almost like that was the one place their access had been revoked and honestly it had them wondering what the fuck was going on.

Of course, some had assumed that Sakura was just tired and needed time given the way that she had been out of Doiwa for months. Others assumed that she had pleasured them better than usual and that she wanted to put the pleasure first.

Even with all of that, these walls that had ears were never going to be worse than Izanami Watanabe. She hated her daughter so much that she tried to murder Sakura countless times over the years.

It was something that was not very motherly of Izanami, but then the woman did not care for anything anymore. Her daughter didn't even seem to touch her heart which was crazy given that Sakura was her only daughter.

This was the kind of shit that Izanami was supposed to embrace and that too with her daughter as the queen, but the mad woman was crazier than her daughter, which was not healthy.

Oh, how Izanami despised her little girl. But then that was a truth that Sakura had known her entire life, so it wasn't even up for discussion. Still, the woman could have at least tried to make amends with her daughter, right?

"Did you hear the moans last night?"

"I wish it was me spending the night with the queen."

"I'm so jealous of those who got touched by her after all those months."

"I fucked my wife last night with their moans. Oh, they sounded so heavenly."

"Had to jerk off multiple times just from listening to them."

The whispers were loud and brazen within the walls of the palace that had been known for the worst. The news of the queen and her pets and what they had done that night had traveled far and wide.

What she had done was for the history books and it would remain on the lips of the people of Doiwa for months on end. It wasn't even up for negotiations seeing as the entire palace reeked of slick and cum.

It was a mess, but one that the Lycans had strongly missed. Oh, how they were a weird bunch, but then again, that right there was the reminder they needed to know that their queen hadn't changed with her absence all these months.

She was just the same person that she had always been and frankly, that was more comforting, even if Sakura being herself meant murdering people aimlessly again. They didn't object to that.

"I knew there was no one else and the rumors were false."

"About her meeting someone in Odanera? Please, those are just rumors."

"The Bogdans said that she was with a woman over there."

"Impossible. The queen loves her pets and she never touched anyone else."

"Well, she is the queen, so we can't exactly ask her about it."

"Her mind links were open the entire night. There is nothing about a bond that she had somewhere."

"That means she really was a loyal queen… gods, I love her."

"Everyone does."

The murmurs about the bonds were things that Sakura had expected and when she had left her mind links open the entire night, she knew they would come to pray and see for themselves if there was anything there.

She also knew that whatever they saw in her mind would give them a perspective of what her life was like in Odanera and it would determine a lot of other reactions later. Either they would defy her or they would forever stay loyal to her.

Judging from the reactions, Sakura had managed to win.

At what cost though?

'Tell me you didn't lock her out, Sakura. That is the most dangerous thing you have ever done,' Otaru said angrily in the queen's mind link. It was private but damn was it the one thing that Otaru could use to channel his rage and disappointment.

He had seen the way that Sakura had been happy with Kiyomi. He had been through it all and he had seen how glad she had been when she realized that Kiyomi felt something for her.

He had watched the knee become a changed person because of Kiyomi and suddenly it was like nothing had happened. What the fuck was even going on in the mad woman's brain? Why had she done this?

'I am the queen, Otaru,' Sakura said and Otaru just scoffed in the link.

'That is not an answer Sakura,' Otaru insisted.

'It is the only way to keep her safe. You know more than anyone knows that Cronos and the Doiwa people are looking for an excuse to go after her. They won't stop and I can't have Cronos thinking that he can come to me and blackmail me with a relationship I want to protect,' Sakura said.

For a moment, Otaru was sure that the woman had lost her mind. There was just no way that this was her reasoning after all that they had gone through. It just didn't make any sense and it pissed Otaru the hell off.

The woman had so many options and yet still chose to go for the worst of them all. It was like she didn't care about herself. But if that was so, then she couldn't have tried arguing with Cronos before, right? What was that though?

'Are you listening to yourself?' Otaru asked and Sakura had just about had enough. She was in pain because of what she had done to Kiyomi and she knew this would haunt her for a long time. But she had to do this.

She had to step up and protect Kiyomi in the only way she could. It had taken her months of perfect practice to block her emotions for giving away what she felt for Kiyomi or even any activity of their mind link.

It had been a costly thing to do even for her when she blocked her link with Kiyomi and she wished that there were easier choices. A part of her already knew that shit would never be the same, but it didn't matter this time, right?

Maybe she would just hold on and all would be well mysteriously. Or maybe she just had to wait it out, but would it ever really be worth it in the end? Was this the path she really wanted to try out with the love of her life?

Was it this madness that she wanted to stick to or was there more to the chaos that she had strived to get out of?

'It had to be done. Or would you prefer my portal seeing me covered in cum and listening to the motions of the pets that seem to have a good understanding of what they needed to do here? Did you want her to bear witness to my betrayal and break her heart even more?

'Face it, Otaru. Until there is a choice, there really isn't a choice, and right now, I have more important things to worry about, like mother dearest not going after my Erasthai,' Sakura said with a tone of finality before she shut the mind links with Otaru.
