"Yes.., Fan Ling never mentioned to anyone about the Divine Sword to keep this a secret but i heard the rumors that Li Feng is searching for something in their mansion the night they were sent away"

"So did he find that?"

"No, he is also still searching for them"

"But if my father feared their power why didn't he kill or punish them severely"

"He didn't hate them at all, The truth is that their ancestors worked together long time ago and they were also friends since childhood"

Min Chul is shocked to know the reason his father destroyed the Duke Family.

"So he did everything to secure my Throne"

Min Chul feels devastated after hearing the truth. He couldn't believe what he heard but it makes sense to him now. But he realized something else.

"Wait, did one of them have that potential?"

"We don't know about it"

"So, he just let them go after Fan Sheng exiled. Does that mean?" He speculates his thoughts.

"Then according to what your father did all we could conclude is that.."

"It's Fan Sheng.." They both realise the truth.

"That totally makes sense, he separated the sword and its Master to conceal its power"

"Then the Duke's must have eloped to protect the Sword, that's the reason he is not disclosing their location anyone because even he doesn't know where they are now"

Both their faces lit up as they realised everything

"Minister Dao, I think we shouldn't try to search for them. It will increase their chance of getting caught to Li Feng"

"You are right, Your highness"

"We just need to act like we know their whereabouts and help them silently if ever they try to reach to you"

Minister Dao thanks Min Chul and is about to leave.

"Minister Dao, I have something else to ask you"

"What is it, my prince?" 

He whispers something in Master Dao's ears.

"I hope you would help me in this and I can only trust you in this matter"

Min Chul bows his head showing his respect and honor to Minister Dao.

Reluctance is shown in Minister Dao's face but he nods in acceptance.

"Its My Honor to serve you, Your Majesty" 

Minister Dao goes back and Min Chul feels relieved.

"Gao Li, arrange me a hot bath. I need to relax for sometime" He calls upon his loyal Guard.

*****After the Battle of Kitsuru

The last messenger bird flew from Kitsuru with great effort before it died on the outskirts of the capital.

A guard on patrol identified the bird and sent over the message scroll to Li Feng, the minister of War of the Min Dynasty.

Li Feng is shocked to see that their army has been defeated in the hands of Miyara, the kingdom which is not even one third of the Min Dynasty.

"We lost Kitsuru? How is this possible"

He laughed and his laugh creeped everyone present in the barracks.

Li Feng trained hard and became a respected Commander and minister of war.

He won 3 consecutive wars in the period where Fan Sheng was exiled and won every war.

"I know" he walks in arrogance as he enters the palace.

"Your Majesty" he bows his head without kneeling in front of the emperor.

Even the emperor couldn't dare to command him.

"Your majesty, i think there might be some mistake as Miyara doesn't have that power to reclaim Kitsuru"

"We have had kitsuru for at least 10 years and it is very important to hold Kitsuru."

"I know your Majesty"

"If you know its importance, then how come the people of Miyara have reclaimed it"

"I think you should now go with your army and reclaim it"

The Emperor wants to send Li Feng to War, so that he could keep him occupied and away from the capital.

"No Your Highness, there is something more important than reclaiming Kitsuru"

"What is more important to the crown than reclaiming Kitsuru?"

"Swords Festival"

The entire court started to murmur as they heard "Swords festival" from him.

The Emperor's face turned pale as soon as he heard those words from Li Feng.

"You want to participate in the Swords Festival?"

"Yes Your Majesty, I don't see any reason not to join the festival"

His expression clearly challenges the Emperor by showing his power in front of him.

"But it is a crucial time for our kingdom"

"Yes, your highness, it is crucial and that's why I need to go to the Swords festival."

"If I could have a Divine Sword in my hand, I could defend our Kingdom even more" a smirk arose on his lips.

The emperor sits back with a heavy heart as soon as he hears Li Feng will participate in the serpent Festival.

Min Chul understood that Li Feng is trying to gather the divine swords and will rebel soon if he doesn't act fast.

"Father, What is the Sword festival?"

One of the ministers responds to his question.

"Your Highness, Sword festival is celebrated to honour the deaths of all those warriors who sacrificed their lives while trying to protect the world by killing that serpent"

"But that serpent is still there right?"

"Yes, your highness. Even after trying various things our Ancestors couldn't kill the serpent and finally they cast a spell and turned it into stone which is now the Serpent mountain"

"Then what is it about the story about the swords?"

"Those swords possess the souls of all those great Mages who have sealed the Serpent and only people sharing their blood or a master of that specific Ability can pull out that sword."

"So what happened to those words?"

"The descendants of those Great Mages claimed those swords and the some of them were left to be claimed"

"So, what you mean is that all the swords which were claimed were by the descendants, right?"

"Yes, Your Highness"

"So, Minister Li, can I know whose descendant are you among them?"

All eyes are fixed on Li Feng as Min Chul humiliated him.

"I don't think being a descendant is mandatory Your Highness"

"Yes, it's not mandatory but every sword which is claimed till now is by their own descendants. So i don't think there is any use of your going to the Sword festival"

Both of them share a deadly stare as the argument gets heated.
