Crazy Shinobi: Rise of the uzumaki Clan

Chapter 25: ch 21

Chapter 21: Unleashing the Storm

Madara's POV

The battlefield was a graveyard of steel and blood.

The clash of metal and the cries of the wounded filled the air as Uchiha and Senju warriors tore into each other. Fire jutsu raged across the land, scorching the earth, while torrents of water and bursts of lightning countered in devastating force.

Yet, amidst the chaos, my focus was on one man.

Hashirama.

He stood at the heart of the Senju forces, his presence a beacon of unwavering will. His expression was grim, yet there was still that same frustrating hesitation in his gaze—as if he still believed this war could be stopped.

I would break that belief.

"Uchiha! Fall back behind me!" I commanded, my voice cutting through the battle.

My warriors immediately obeyed, retreating to safety as I stepped forward, my chakra surging. The air around me trembled. The weight of my new eyes bore down on my enemies, their fear evident in the way they faltered.

It was time.

I clapped my hands together, and in an instant, darkness erupted around me—an overwhelming wave of crimson energy expanding like a storm.

The full-body Susanoo.

A monstrous, armored warrior formed around me, standing tall above the battlefield. It loomed over the Senju forces, its towering form casting an unshakable shadow.

Its eyes burned with the same Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan that now resided within me, and in its four massive hands, ethereal blades materialized—each one humming with devastating power.

For the first time, I felt complete.

"Now, Senju!" I roared. "Witness the power of the Uchiha!"

I swung one of Susanoo's blades. The ground split apart beneath the sheer force, tearing through enemy ranks like a god's judgment. The Senju forces scattered, their lines thrown into chaos.

This was power. True, unrelenting power.

And yet—

He stood before me.

Hashirama didn't move. His gaze met mine, and then, with a single hand seal, the earth trembled in response.

"Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands!"

The sky darkened. A colossal wooden figure erupted from the earth, dwarfing even my Susanoo. Its thousand hands extended, each one larger than a house, ready to strike.

Tch. So, he had been holding back.

I didn't hesitate. Susanoo's swords blurred as I launched forward, slashing at the wooden behemoth. My attacks were devastating—trees shattered, splinters exploded into the air, but Hashirama's creation endured.

Then, the counterattack came.

Hundreds of massive wooden fists surged forward, hammering against my Susanoo. Each impact sent shockwaves through my body, shaking my very bones.

But I refused to falter.

"You won't stop me, Hashirama!" I bellowed, forcing my chakra into Susanoo once more. It had to be stronger. Faster.

Yet, in that moment—before I could strike again—Hashirama moved.

In a flash, he appeared atop my Susanoo's shoulder, his palm pressing against the armor's surface.

"Enough!" His voice rang out, commanding, absolute.

And then, everything stopped.

The ground beneath us stilled, the echoes of battle fading. Both Senju and Uchiha warriors hesitated, watching as the storm between us came to a halt.

Hashirama's gaze was firm, yet filled with something infuriating.

Understanding.

"We've both lost too much, Madara." His voice was steady, yet it carried the weight of war, of a man who had seen far too much death. "Izuna is gone. My brothers are gone. How much longer will we keep sacrificing everything?"

My breath was heavy, my body trembling with adrenaline. My fingers curled into fists.

How dare he? How dare he act as though we could simply stop this?

And yet…

The battlefield was filled with the wounded, the dying. My warriors, his warriors, all suffering the same. The cost of our hatred.

Tch. Damn you, Hashirama.

Slowly, I exhaled, letting the rage settle—for now. Then, I turned.

"Uchiha!" My voice carried across the battlefield. "Retreat."

A beat of silence. Then, one by one, my warriors pulled back, disappearing into the smoke.

Hashirama did the same.

For now, the battle was over.

But the war…

The war was far from finished.

To Be Continued…
