Chapter 36: ch 31
Chapter 31: One Against All
Shinsui's POV
The summit hall was in ruins. The floor was cracked, the walls shattered, and the air thick with dust and chakra.
The five Kage stood before me, their eyes filled with conviction. Behind them, Madara remained still, watching in silence.
I exhaled slowly.
"So this is your decision," I murmured, rolling my shoulders. "Very well."
Then, I moved.
---
The Battle Begins
Tobirama was the first to react.
He vanished in a flash of blue light—Flying Thunder God Technique! His kunai were already scattered across the battlefield, and in an instant, he reappeared above me, blade descending toward my skull.
I raised a single hand—
Clang!
His blade met an invisible force and stopped mid-air.
Before he could react, I twisted my fingers. The air rippled, and an unseen pressure slammed into him—sending him hurtling across the battlefield like a broken doll.
But the moment he was sent flying, the Raikage had already closed the distance.
A blinding flash of lightning—Lightning Release Chakra Mode! He was faster than any normal shinobi, his body flickering as he launched a devastating punch toward my ribs.
I shifted my stance.
Boom!
The ground beneath me shattered from the sheer force of his attack, but I remained unharmed—a thin layer of energy coating my body like an unbreakable shield.
His eyes widened. "What—?!"
I didn't give him time to react. My fingers flicked, and the air itself exploded, sending him crashing into a nearby wall.
But there was no time to pause.
A shadow loomed above—
Hashirama, hands clasped together. Wood Release: Deep Forest Bloom!
The entire battlefield transformed.
Massive trees erupted from the ground, their roots twisting and turning like living serpents, their flowers releasing a thick, paralyzing pollen.
A beautiful yet deadly prison.
I inhaled.
And then—I swung my arm.
A single, casual movement.
The moment I did, a ripple spread through the air. The trees withered instantly, their life force drained in a blink.
Hashirama's eyes widened. "That technique—!"
Before he could finish, the Tsuchikage had already completed his hand signs.
"Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!"
A blinding white cube of chakra formed in his hands before it shot toward me at terrifying speed—an attack that could erase anything from existence.
I lifted a single finger.
And then—
The cube stopped mid-air.
The Tsuchikage's face twisted in shock. "Impossible—"
I closed my fingers into a fist.
The cube collapsed in on itself before vanishing completely.
I turned to face him. "Dust Release? An impressive technique… against anyone else."
His hands trembled.
But the Mizukage wasn't waiting. A massive tidal wave surged toward me, hundreds of feet high, ready to crush me under its weight.
I sighed.
I raised my hand—and snapped my fingers.
The entire tidal wave froze solid, turning into a crystal-like sculpture of ice.
The Mizukage gasped. "What…?"
I flicked my wrist. The frozen wave shattered into a thousand shards, each one glowing with power.
I redirected them—
Sending them flying toward all the Kage at once.

The Turning Point
Hashirama acted quickly, slamming his hands together. "Wood Release: Wood Golem!"
A massive wooden colossus erupted from the ground, shielding them all from the frozen storm.
I clicked my tongue. "You're always a problem, Hashirama."
He met my gaze. "And you're always too dangerous, Shinsui."
I stepped forward, the battlefield shifting beneath my presence. The very air felt heavier.
Tobirama reappeared next to Hashirama, blood dripping down his forehead. "Brother, this is pointless… He's not just strong—he's something else entirely."
The Raikage groaned as he climbed out of the rubble. "Damn it… What is he?"
The Tsuchikage clenched his fists. "If we let him live… we may never be able to stop him again."
I stared at them all, unimpressed. "Is that the best you can do?"
Hashirama's face hardened. "Then we have no choice…"
He took a deep breath.
Then—
His chakra surged.
The entire earth trembled as a monstrous power erupted from his body.
A shadow loomed over us all.
A massive wooden warrior, even larger than the mountains, stood behind him—
—the True Several Thousand Hands.
The other Kage staggered back in shock.
Tobirama gritted his teeth. "Brother, you—"
"I won't let him destroy everything." Hashirama's voice was firm. "This is the end, Shinsui."
I looked up at the towering colossus.
And then—
I smiled.
A low chuckle left my lips. "Is that so?"
I lifted my hand—and the very fabric of reality trembled.
The sky darkened. The air grew heavy.
And then—
I unleashed my power.
