Chapter 3: Chapter 3 This Game is Based On True Events
Shock! Absolute shock!
After watching the storyline, Kakashi was utterly stunned!
He turned to Yuto, wondering who this person really was.
He wondered how could this shop owner, who seemed even younger than himself, have access to footage from the Nine-Tails Attack?
Not only that, but he had also artistically transformed it into this so-called 'game.'
Kakashi was both confused and impressed. The game then unlocked its first level.
[Uzumaki Naruto: Part 1!]
Kakashi entered the level, and the playable character was a blond-haired boy.
The game transitioned into the opening storyline.
[In Konoha Village, there is a boy who dreams of becoming Hokage. His name is Uzumaki Naruto]
'Uzumaki...Naruto.'
Kakashi was no stranger to this name.
He was already a core figure in the Hokage's inner circle, a trusted aide to the Third Hokage.
The graduating class he was about to lead included the son of his late teacher, Minato, and Kushina… Uzumaki Naruto.
And... Sasuke Uchiha, the younger brother of Itachi and a member of Obito's clan.
There was also a ninja from a civilian family.
[As an orphan, Naruto was shunned by the village because he harbored the hated Nine-Tails within him]
[Lonely and seeking attention, Naruto often played pranks]
[Sometimes, his pranks escalated into major disturbances...]
The storyline briefly introduced the background, which Kakashi somewhat remembered.
However, as a former Anbu member who was often on missions, he hadn't heard much about the boy's pranks.
The scene then shifted to the game's combat interface.
A burly Konoha Ninja shouted, "Uzumaki Naruto, you little troublemaker! Always causing mischief! This time, I'm going to teach you a lesson!!"
Kakashi didn't recognize the Ninja's face, but based on his attire, he could tell the man was a Chunin.
The blond-haired boy with goggles, Uzumaki Naruto, grinned and said, "Dumbass! You talk too much!"
"You brat! Don't let me catch you!"
---
The dialogue ended, and Naruto jumped out from the left side. Kakashi, seeing the reappearance of the skill buttons, knew it was time for combat.
As the Chunins kept appearing, Kakashi wondered, 'Am I supposed to fight these Ninjas?'
But seeing a group of Chunin bullying a kid, Kakashi found it hard to believe.
Still, he began to fight back.
Naruto's first skill was throwing paint, and his second skill was summoning a clone… though the clone sometimes failed to appear.
His normal attacks were also quite comical.
But to Kakashi, these attacks fit Naruto's current identity perfectly.
However, his clone technique reminded Kakashi of his two dead-last friends.
Yuto had also considered the timeline, replacing the Genin Naruto from the first chapter with a younger, Academy-student version of Naruto.
Finally, seeing the Chakra gauge fill up, Kakashi remembered that a full Chakra bar meant he could unleash an ultimate technique!
So he pressed Naruto's ultimate skill.
Having seen Minato's powerful Rasengan earlier, Kakashi was curious to see what the strongest technique of this Academy student would look like.
To his surprise, a group of scantily clad beauties surrounded the enemy, finishing them off with a barrage of kisses...
Kakashi stared at the highly detailed and risqué scene...
As someone who had been single for years and relied on Icha-Icha Paradise for entertainment, he had never seen anything so... explicit.
Suddenly, he felt a warm sensation in his nose, as if blood was about to gush out.
'This thing... seems to be even more exciting than the Icha-Icha Paradise!'
Seeing the Chunin defeated by his ultimate technique, Kakashi found it perfectly reasonable. Who wouldn't be stunned by such a Jutsu?
The battle ended, and a dialogue box popped up.
[Uzumaki Naruto: Told ya you couldn't catch me, hahaha!]
[Umino Iruka: Naruto!!!]
[Uzumaki Naruto: Oh no, oh no! Iruka-sensei found me!]
The dialogue ended, and the word 'Victory' appeared. Kakashi tapped the screen and returned to the level selection screen.
'Who is this Umino Iruka?'
With this question in mind, Kakashi turned to Yuto. He had too many questions that needed answers.
But after a moment of thought, he only asked one: "Can Naruto really defeat a group of Chunin?"
Yuto had expected Kakashi to ask about the identity of the mysterious masked man or how he had created the game, but he hadn't anticipated this kind of question.
Yuto said: "This is artistic processing..."
"This game is based on real events, but some parts have been embellished for dramatic effect."
'Based on... real events?'
Kakashi knew how difficult that would be. He didn't even understand the principles behind making a game.
If he asked, Yuto would probably just chuckle.
All these assets were created using the resource quota he had spent, and they were the same assets from the original Motou Village in his previous life, ensuring an authentic experience.
---
After getting his answer, Kakashi didn't press further and moved on to the next level.
The second level is titled [Secret Scroll].
It began with another cutscene...
[Naruto, who dreams of becoming Hokage, has repeatedly failed his graduation exams]
[One day, Mizuki-sensei from the Academy tells Naruto a shocking secret]
[Hidden in the Hokage's office is a forbidden scroll… the Scroll of Seals]
[As long as Naruto can sneak into the Hokage's Office and steal the scroll, learning the Jutsu within, he can graduate from the Academy]
[Upon hearing this, Naruto doesn't hesitate and immediately heads to the Hokage's Office]
Kakashi stared at the absurdity of the plot, 'No way... an Academy student who can't even graduate is planning to sneak into the Hokage's Office?'
'And he steals the Scroll of Seals to learn the Jutsu inside?'
Each requirement was more outrageous than the last.
Forget the low odds of successfully infiltrating the Hokage's Office and stealing the scroll… just learning the Jutsu inside was an incredibly high bar.
The reason the techniques in the Scroll of Seals were sealed away and not made public was because they were too dangerous.
Techniques like the Flying Thunder God and the Edo Tensei were nearly impossible for ordinary people to learn.
And the Chakra of an ordinary person cannot withstand a Ninjutsu like the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu.
Kakashi facepalmed, 'This ridiculous plot... could it actually be true?'
After the cutscene, the game displayed another dialogue box.
[Uzumaki Naruto: Infiltration successful~ hehe ~]
The first line alone nearly made Kakashi lose his composure, 'The most important place in the entire village, infiltrated by a kid?'
[Konoha Ninja: This is no place for you! Catch him!]
Seeing the guards react this way, Kakashi felt it was more believable.
After controlling Naruto to easily defeat a bunch of Chunins, the level ended.
[Uzumaki Naruto: Got the scroll! I'm such a genius, hahaha~]
---
'That's it? Naruto just walks away with the Scroll of Seals?'
Kakashi looked at Yuto with disbelief.
Yuto, knowing the plot was a bit far-fetched, simply smiled and said, "Based on true events..."
