Criminal X : Epitome Of Evil

Chapter 341: End This

Pablo was successfully snapped.

He told the Marshal that he would kill Ted right now.

He stood in front of Ted and brought out Colt, his sword.

The soldiers eyes lit up.

They would certainly like to see a bloodbath.

"You are finally showing your true colors, huh, Pablo? No one would be that eager to kill a fellow soldier." Ted said, smiling.

"My heart is not big enough to forgive you every time. You accused me of not being loyal to the kingdom and you disregarded my feat of killing the Demon. You would have pissed your pants if you were there, kid."

Pablo called Ted a kid, because he really was a kid in front of Pablo.

"You started fighting with the Demon after the others had finished fighting him. He was certainly tired. The only thing strong about you is your luck, old man."

Ted called Pablo an old man. Just because Pablo called him a kid.

"Enough. Both of you. Don't start a fight here." Fozier tried to calm down the situation.

But he was ignored.

Pablo and Ted remained in front of each other ready to erupt in battle.

"You think the Demon was tired? Fine. Tank!" Pablo shouted.

"Yes!" Someone shouted back.

Everyone looked there.

It was a soldier standing below the stage.

"You were there in the fight. Tell everyone the truth. Was the Demon weak? Was the Demon tired? Tell them." Pablo ordered.

Tank came forward.

This was the same Abyssal Butcher that was in the Glory city when the Demon had attacked. He was there to kill Quilin, the Vampire prince, but later he was forced to participate in the fight against the Demon.

Pablo asked the best person for the current situation.

"Yes. Everyone, the Demon wasn't something that would be tired. He was a menace. But the Tenth Marshal was so strong that it appeared that the Demon was tired. Otherwise, the Demon was not at all weak and miserable. He was a monster."

Tank finished speaking.

"That's all. Thanks for that."

Tank nodded and joined the crowd of the soldiers again.

"Now," Pablo looked at Ted again. "What do you have to say now?"

Ted gritted his teeth. "I don't care. You are the killer and I won't accept you as a Marshal. You have to die."

Pablo sighed. "Then there is no need to fight."

Pablo stored Colt back inside his bracelet and looked at Fozier.

"Your soldier has already deemed me as the Killer inside his mind. I can't do anything about it. He has no proof, nothing, he just believes I am the killer."

"Then y-"

"That's enough."

Fozier stopped talking.

Everyone also stopped their muttering.

Because for the first time since coming on the stage, the Admiral, Harlia finally spoke.

"Pablo," She shoved Fozier aside and stood in front of Pablo.

"End this shit. Find the killer and end this. It's too annoying. I don't care how, just end it."

Harlia straight out gave the order.

Ted clenched his fist and that's all he could do. He couldn't argue with the Admiral.

"I will surely end this shit. But for that, I need the full cooperation of all the Marshals and their soldiers. The other division soldiers can go inside their rooms. I want only the Abyssal Butchers to roam around this camp."

"It will be done."

"And you too, Admiral." Pablo said.

Harlia frowned. "You want me to stay inside my room too?"

"No. I also want you to participate in my process. I am sure this soldier will again suspect me. If you stay here then he will be in moderation."

"Fine. I'll be here. Do what you have to." Harlia gave permission.

Pablo nodded and turned towards the soldiers standing on the ground.

"Everyone," He said. "Those who are not Abyssal Butchers shall get out of here and lock themselves inside their rooms. Be it Generals, Captains, Supreme Leaders, shut yourself in the rooms. If any of you are found roaming outside, I will myself behead them. Now get lost."

"Yes!"

Everyone answered and in just a minute, the ground 0 was nearly empty.

Only the Abyssal Butchers were left on the ground.

"Now what?" Harlia asked.

"Now, I want each and everyone to search this entire camp. The Marshals, and you too Admiral. We have to do a search."

"For what?" Fozier asked.

"For your missing soldiers."

"We did that." Fozier said.

"Did you search every nook and cranny of this camp?" Pablo asked.

"I mean, yeah. I guess. We searched." Fozier gave a 'not so sure' answer therefore Pablo shook his head.

"The dead body of Dilinger was found in the General's mansion. It's because Dilinger left the camp himself at night. And Whitey and Jeffrey, their dead bodies weren't found but we have to leave them because there is no way to find them.

But today, you can't find two of your soldiers, Kony and Boris. Do you know what that means?"

"What?" Fozier and Harlia both asked at the same time.

Pablo answered. "I told your soldiers to stay close together. So that when the killer comes, they will be able to catch them. And if a soldier has to go somewhere they shouldn't be alone. At least two soldiers should stay with each other.

I assume Boris and Kony were together and they went somewhere. Ask the guards at the gate if these two left the camp. And if the guard says no, then it means they are still inside the camp somewhere. And the reason they aren't present here in this ground means that they are dead. The killer got them.

And since the killer killed both of them, it means that they let the killer come close to them. They were familiar with the killer, otherwise there's no way someone would kill two Abyssal Butchers and no one would get to know about it."

"We have asked the guards. They didn't see Kony and Boris going somewhere." Fozier said.

"Then they must be here. Search everywhere."

"But are you saying they were familiar with the killer that's why they didn't suspected them and got killed?" Harlia asked.

Pablo nodded. "Yes. I mean, let's assume the killer wants me dead and my girlfriend is the killer.

So when I meet her, there is no way I would think of her as the killer. So if she came close to me, I would not protect myself. I will let her come near me and when she is close to me, she can easily kill me. I think that's what must have happened. Someone familiar came close to them and killed them, otherwise why would Kony and Boris let themselves be killed."

"You have a girlfriend?" Fozier asked.

"I mean, there is a girl who loves me. I don't recognise her as my girlfriend. And I don't think we should talk about that right now."

"Right. Let's just search everywhere." Fozier focused on the main thing.

"Everyone, spread around. The Marshals, soldiers, everyone. Search everywhere. And when you find two soldiers, do something to notify us all. Heck, ring the Gong when you find it." Fozier ordered and all the soldiers began moving.

Pablo darted his eyes at one of the soldiers and slowly shook his head.

The soldier nodded in return and left ground 0 as well.

It was of course Draxus.

"What did you tell him?" Cupid asked.

'That he should not be the first one to find the dead bodies. Neither he nor any of my soldiers should find that farmhouse. Someone else should find the hut and inform everyone.'

"Oh. I see." Cupid understood why Pablo did that and went silent.

If Pablo's soldiers found the dead bodies first then it would make everyone suspicious.

After a few seconds, only Pablo, Fozier and Harlia were left in ground 0.

"What do you want us to do?" Fozier asked.

"You should also search, Marshal."

"Me too?"

"Yes. It's your soldiers who are missing. Go." Pablo said.

Fozier sighed but with a nod, he left the ground as well.

"What about me?" Harlia asked.

"You shall keep an eye on any fights that may brew. Ted might start cursing my soldiers. And if the two soldiers are found dead, then a big fight can happen. You should take control of it."

"Alright. I will do just that. I am fed up with it. But talking about Ted, you are really not the killer, right?"

'I am.'

"Of course not, Admiral. If I want to kill someone, I would kill in broad daylight. Not like some coward."

"Hmm. Fair enough. You will certainly kill like that. Anyway, I am going."

"Sure."

Like that, the Admiral also left ground 0.

Now only Pablo was left and beside him was his floating Angel.

He also began walking out of the ground 0.

He also acted like searching all around and after fifteen minutes..

"What will happen now?" Cupid asked.

Pablo smiled. "Someone will surely find the body soon."

TUNG!

"Just what I said."

Fozier had ordered the soldiers to ring the gong when someone found the body.

"Now what?" Cupid asked.

Pablo's lips curled up.

"Now my enemies will die on their own."
