Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1588: Three Years (7)

As he was looking through their status with a satisfied smile, Qing Yi took the opportunity to slowly approach with a questioning look on her face. "Master, did you finish your seclusion?" "Hm? Yeah, I will be staying here in the foreseeable future." Hearing his disciple's question, Xuan Hao gently nodded his head. Confirming that he was indeed finished with his secluded cultivation and would be staying on the Seventh Star Peak once again, something that caused both of his disciples to light up with joy. Understanding that this would mean that it was going to be much easier for them to get ahold of their master compared to when he had been in seclusion on the Second Star Peak. After all, the Second Star Peak was blocked off by the chaotic qi formation and wouldn't allow anyone to approach, while they at the same time wouldn't want to contact their master and interrupt his seclusion unless necessary. The only exception to this among his disciples being Mui, who was by far the one who had contacted him the most since he had entered secluded cultivation. Smiling a bit as he thought about this, Xuan Hao decided to delay meeting with Elder Song to talk about hiding different treasures throughout the Shattered Star Peaks for the younger disciples of the sect to find and instead decided to use some time to help Qing Yi and Chun Hua with comprehending the Dao of Alchemy. Although it wasn't realistic for them to comprehend the Dao of Alchemy to the Elementary Realm with his assistance, it would at the very least be able to provide them with a path towards the Elementary Realm. Shortening the time that they might need to breakthrough the bottleneck that the two of them found themselves stuck at. And just like that, time flew by with him using the next few hours to guide his disciples in the Dao of Alchemy, while at the same time learning about what had been happening in the sect during the past three years. After all, even though he had left the Second Star Peak a few times to help his disciples during the past three years, he hadn't really learnt about what was happening in the sect during this time. Having been far more eager to get back to the Second Star Peak as fast as possible and resume his comprehension of the Dao of Ice. Because of this, it didn't take long for him to learn about the sect having expanded into the neighboring kingdom due to their fall to the demonic cultivators and the fact that the sect had already established a few branch sects in the new territory. Of course, because of the current dangerous state of the new territory of the sect, the branch sects operated more like locations for the disciples and elders battling the demonic cultivators to rest and weren't accepting any disciples yet. Even then, the addition of the new branch sects had been a great help for the disciples and elders of the sect and allowed them to stay away from the sect and focus on fighting demonic cultivators for longer without needing to go back to the sect. On the topic of demonic cultivators, to ensure that the borders of the sect remained safe with the increased territory now under threat from demonic cultivators, close to twenty of the wandering cultivators in the Soul Ascension Realm that had joined the sect ended up being dispatched to the sect's borders with the Frozen Wastelands and demonic cultivator infested areas. All of them happily did so, as it was an easy way for them to earn contribution points. Not just that, but the overall danger posed by demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wasteland wasn't that big considering that the strongest demonic cultivators around were only around the Earlier Stages of the True Demon Realm. The demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wastelands clearly still not wanting to fall out with a neutral faction like the Star Shattering Sect when they were already busy fighting with the Blue Sea Empire. As for the few demonic cultivators still attacking the territory of the Star Shattering Sect… They weren't even considered worth caring about in the eyes of the stronger demonic cultivators. Not just the stronger demonic cultivators, but even the Star Shattering Sect didn't care about the demonic cultivators constantly attacking their territory and just viewed them as easy combat experience for the sect's disciples and elders. Learning about this, Xuan Hao could not help once again recalling Xuan Gui, the demonic cultivator who he had befriended and wanted his help in dealing damage to the Blue Sea Empire. Over the past three years, it was not that he hadn't heard from her, but more so that it seemed like her current situation wasn't optional for her to leave and sneak inside the Blue Sea Empire. From what little he managed to learn, she had been moved to another section of the Frozen Wasteland by one of the Demon King Realm demonic cultivators because of the increasingly successful attacks towards the Blue Sea Empire. Even if she wanted to take the opportunity to sneak away, it simply wasn't possible with someone in the Demon King Realm watching over her and the other demonic cultivators that had come alongside her. Informing the demonic cultivator in the Demon King Realm about her plans and intent to leave the frontlines wasn't really an option either, as even with her strength, it was likely that the Demon King Realm demonic cultivator would likely see her as trying to run away and potentially kill her for insubordination. All in all, demonic cultivators weren't that easy to get along with and she was stuck in her current situation, unable to sneak inside the Blue Sea Empire like she had originally planned on doing the moment the Frozen Wasteland's demonic cultivators began to clash with the Blue Sea Empire seriously. A truly unfortunate situation she found herself in, but not much he could do anything about unless he wanted to sneak inside the Frozen Wasteland and try to take her out with him under a Demon King Realm demonic cultivator…
