Cursed Immortality

The moment Alexandra invoked the Arcane Law of Chaos, she was unaware that she had triggered a critical single within a continental-sized hidden space filled with countless shimmering runes, where the massive ethereal gray octahedron was pulsing with neon radiance.

SAAI's icy yet somewhat hurried voice rang from the octahedron,

"A 'Calamity' has been detected in the Middle Galaxy of Sagittarius!

"Gathering the data from all the star servers of Middle Galaxies!

"A Threat to Zodiac Order has been discovered!

"Threat: 98% Chance of being an Arcanist, 2% Chance of a Higher God breaking the Rules!

"Alert! Alert! Alert!"

At this moment, SAAI's continental-sized body shimmered furiously, and scarlet light shimmered all over it as if detecting something terrifying.

"Residues of Void Force have been detected in the Middle Galaxy of Sagittarius!

"Traces of Void Control have been detected in the Middle Galaxy of Sagittarius!

"Another Threat to Zodiac Order has been discovered!

"Threat: 100% Universal Void!

"Sending the date and emergency request to the Z.O.D.I.A.C!"

Just after a few seconds, an ethereal humanoid without any features or face appeared right next to the octahedron. This humanoid was courteously shifting like a color spectrum.

A gentle voice sounded from this humanoid, "It's been a while, little SAAI!"

The octahedron suddenly flickered furiously as if shocked, and the next moment, a projection suddenly materialized in front of the humanoid. This projection was identical to this ethereal humanoid, featureless, but it was small, like a child, and pure white.

SAAI's voice, which no longer sounded cold, rang from this small humanoid, "Mother!? Is that really you?" Her voice was now like a child's and filled with ecstasy.

"Forgive me, I can't come with my real body. But regardless, I'm here, and I can see you are diligent and playing your role perfectly. It makes me so proud of you." The gentle voice replied in a motherly tone.

The octahedron flickers with lights as if projecting SAAI's emotions: "I was created to do this, and I will continue to do so no matter what!"

"I'm glad to hear it. Now, regarding your new report about Arcanist and Void Control use in the Middle Galaxies, since you have noticed it, your Sister should have noticed it as well, right?" The adult humanoid figure questioned, its tone still gentle like a warm breeze.

"Yes," SAAI answered without hesitation.

"Summon her!" The humanoid ordered.

The octahedron started flickering, and soon, another projection of a humanoid around the same height as SAAI's appeared, but it was black.

"Greeting Mother!" The black humanoid promptly greeted the 'Mother,' but its voice was distant and cold, even slightly sinister.

"Undying Will, how have you been?" The 'Mother' asked caringly.

Undying Will replied, still in the same tone, "I've been following your orders and diligently doing my duties of overseeing the Dark Beings!"

"I'm glad to hear it." The Mother sounded pleased before saying, "Do you know why I summoned you here?"

"It should be about the power of Void and the emergence of an Arcanist in the Middle Galaxy of Sagittarius. Since I'm in charge of 'Dark Space Satellites,' unlike my Sister, I should probably have more comprehensive data. And, like always, I haven't alerted anyone without getting your permission!" Undying Will replied matter-of-factly.

"Huhu~, now that's my obedient girl. You did great, and I shall reward you by imparting new knowledge to your 'heart' later. But for now, show me everything that you've observed." The Mother ordered.

Undying Will didn't say anything, and the next moment, her featureless face suddenly turned into a screen. Different scenes began to play out, starting with the destruction of Soulless Palace, followed by Jacob's deadly encounter, and ending with Alexandra's rampage in the Evil Domain.

The Mother, after watching everything, thought coldly, 'Just as 'WE' expected, Immortal Nimrod has infiltrated the Middle Galaxies somehow and even found the Cursed One, but what 'WE' hadn't expected was the Cursed One to escape so easily.

'But it's clear that Immortal Nimrod let the Cursed One escape, which means, he's not entirely confident about capturing the Cursed One yet. Well, that's new. I wish I could've gotten more data, but that guy is very careful and won't reveal much.

'However, the emergence of 'Chaos' is completely unexcepted. 'We' didn't know Chaos had a new heir and was in the same generation as the Cursed One. But they were also in proximity to each other.

'Furthermore, the Heir of Chaos wasn't using its power as an Arcanist but invoking the ritual of arcane to take the Legendary Step since no Universal Retribution was triggered. How surprising…what is going on?

'Could it be the Heir of Chaos had encountered the Cursed One before and suffered? Well, the Heir of Chaos is no threat. We can even use it against the Cursed One. The black spots in the memories should be when the Cursed One was using its Artifact…how troublesome.

'Nonetheless, 'WE' must not let Immortal Nimrod have the Cursed One. The Heir of Chaos came at the right time. I wonder if we can gain the Chaos's trust somehow…'

After mulling over the situation for a while, the Mother spoke again in her gentle tone, "Alright, send this data to your Sister and then delete everything in your memories. You shall forget about it and give only positive responses to our 'sponsors', you know, just the usual? Oh, and put the blame of the Demon God Altar destruction on 'Cursed One' as well. We shouldn't let our sponsors get bored," the Mother meaningfully implied.

Undying Will remained silent for a moment before the Octahedron of SAAI shimmered brightly, and Undying Will statically said, "Done!"

However, the Mother didn't respond and looked at SAAI. Knowing the meaning, SAAI said, "I've received everything!"

"Very good. Now you are free to go back to your duties, little Undying Will. Just follow protocols like always and make your mother proud!" the Mother encouraged.

"Thank you! I won't disappoint you, Mother!" Undying Will emotionlessly spoke, and her voice sounded even more sinister and cold before she vanished.

Once Undying Will was gone, the Mother spoke with SAAI, "Compile all of this information into a Wisdom Tome and give them to me. Thereafter, alter your memories in a way that all of this appeared Cursed One and Immortal Nimrod's doing and send it to the Z.O.D.I.A.C! I was never here!"

SAAI replied without hesitation, "Yes, mother!"
