"Talk about what David? It better be something important to skip school!" Gloria stamped her feet in front of David, demonstrating her dominance. Her brown boots shook the floor, she was quite strong for a woman.

David leaned back calmly on the couch. He looked at his mother with his piercing silver eyes. He was debating whether he should tell her the truth about the Hacker System and all the money he stole from Katsuo Tanaka, it would be enough to pay all the expenses of the apartment, in fact, he could buy a new apartment and a car for his mother. But he knew that if he told her about his secret, she would just go crazy. A hacker must always hide his darkest secrets. Cover all traces. David got up from the couch and turned to face his mother.

"Fuck Arasaka Academy, everyone there thinks I'm worthless and trash. I can see it in their eyes, they hate me, I'm not like them. I'm built differently. I don't have to waste time at school, I found a new job that will pay much more than slavery in the Corps, hell, I can start my own company. Everything will be fine, Mom, trust me, I'll get us enough money to get out of this hole," David smirks, putting his hand on his mother's shoulders and calming her down.

Gloria starts crying, "You dream too much! Stop this shit! Wake up, David! You don't want to end up like your father! I'm going to take a shower and take you back to Arasaka Academy!" She runs into the bathroom.

'No, there's no way in hell I'm hacking my own mother. Damn it. But she's ruining my plans, no matter, I don't have a minute to spare, if I'm going to rise up and become the best netrunner in this world, I need to start now and quickly with my hacking system," David heads to his room and looks at the bag that contains the implants, he had a feeling that his mother was selling some expensive and rare cyber equipment, stripped from the corpses of possibly insane cyberpsychos. "There's no way I'm becoming a cyberpsycho, not with this new power," David was going to quickly fix and modify his hacking system while his mother was taking a shower.

David sat in his room and activated his Hacker System. His red eyes were reflected in the window of his room. He starts asking questions to his Hacker System.

[David]: So who are you? Where did you come from?

[Hacker System]: Classified.

[David]: Why are you helping me? Are you some kind of A.I.?

[Hacker System]: I think you're interesting. As for your second question.

[David]: Who or what created you?

[Hacker System]: You ask too many questions.

David gritted his teeth in frustration. "Tch. This isn't going to get you anywhere, it's like talking to a hot girl who doesn't even acknowledge your presence."

[Hacker System]: I can project my form for you if you want. And you tell me if this is A.I.

Suddenly, a simulation of a busty, beautiful, pale-skinned young android girl with short white hair and a black blindfold appeared in front of David. Her shiny, massive, plump buttocks were perfect. David jumped back in complete shock. She looked like 2B from Nier Automata videogame and anime!

"Wait, this can't be real?!" David felt like he was in real Braindance without any chip installed in his neural program.

"How about you touch me?" The system speaks in a female voice now.

David touches the woman standing in front of him. Suddenly, she disappears.

[Hacker System]: Jinx. Just kidding! His System AI says in sexy robotic feminine tone. 

Now he speaks to the system again with his voice.

"What the fuck!? Never mind, I think I understand you now, but not completely, anyway, let's get straight to the point." David leans back in his gaming chair and takes out the money he got from the Hacker System.

[$300,000 ED ready to use].

"Okay fucking Preem! Got all the money, let's do this quickly, time to go into the Darknet and buy some implants, weapons and sell the implants that I stole from Katsuo, maybe I can do some quick hacks while I'm at it," David starts typing into his Hacker System.

"David, time to go to school!" Gloria yells, taking out her car keys.

"Wait a sec," David quickly goes online. He suddenly has a headache, like he had a bad feeling about what was going to happen to his mom. He stops using his Hacker System and walks out the door.

"That was weird," he thinks to himself, heading for the exit. He didn't know the tragic fate to him and his mother Gloria Martinez was about to experience today. Will things be different since David now has Hacker System, he change the tragic fate of his mom? What will the new more powerful David do now.

A/N: The Hacker [Zero] from the past world is fused and transmigrated to David's body, so their minds clash at times, meaning David still doesn't know what will happen to his mom if she will die in a car crash, I feel like every Edgerunners fanfic skips Gloria death but I won't, but things will be different with this Edgerunners fic I won't spoil anything!
