D' Ultimate Lich King

Chapter 133: DULK: Chapter 133

Flandre's revelation shocked the three Servants.

Revealing herself as a member of the bloodkin significantly increased the ways she could be targeted, putting her at a severe disadvantage in the Grail War.

Yet, Flandre hesitated not at all; Arthas felt a touch of helplessness.

He understood, however, the feeling of having one's heritage, one's pride, dismissed.

The name Scarlet meant more than just a surname to Flandre; it represented countless glories, a weighty burden she carried.

So, tonight, at this feast of Kings, Flandre proudly declared this name, her identity as a monarch of the night.

"Night… bloodkin? Could you be…"

Saber murmured, frowning.

The implication was clear; only vampires were called that.

"A vampire?"

Rider stroked his chin, muttering.

"A noble of the night, the most elegant creature?"

Archer took a sip of wine, his tone ambiguous—neither praise nor mockery.

"Indeed, I am a noble vampire, the leader of the bloodkin."

My apologies, Sister… Flandre needs this title now.

But isn't this what you desired? The Scarlet family, descendants of Dracula, were destined to be Kings of the bloodkin.

"So, this young lady is also a King. Archer, anything to say?"

"She has a place at this King's feast."

Archer nodded.

"You're not a Caster, are you? If I'm not mistaken, you're a Berserker."

Saber asked gravely; Flandre chuckled.

"I never claimed to be a Caster; it was your assumption. Like you suspecting I'm a Berserker."

Flandre remained silent about her class, but no one was surprised.

Concealing one's class and True Name is a tactic; no one is obligated to reveal themselves to their enemies.

Except for a simpleton like Rider; few would reveal their True Name and class upon first encounter.

"Alright, let's not dwell on this young lady's class; you all have your suspicions. Let's proceed. Archer, your exquisite wine deserves the finest goblets—but the Grail isn't for wine.

We're determining who deserves the Grail; tell us why you want it. Archer, as a King, convince us you deserve the Grail."

"I'm tired of this. First, we're competing for the Grail; your question is irrelevant."

"Hmm?"

Seeing Rider's surprised expression, Archer sighed.

"It should be mine. All treasures originate from my collection; it was lost over time, but it's still mine."

"So you're saying you once possessed the Grail? You know what it is?"

"No."

Archer calmly denied Rider's question.

"This is beyond your comprehension. My possessions surpass my own understanding; if it's a 'treasure,' it belongs to me. Trying to steal my treasure? Have some self-awareness."

Saber was speechless.

She already found the golden Archer arrogant, but this was extreme; he claimed the Grail as his own.

"I can't believe you're saying this; you're just like that eliminated Servant; clearly, more than one Servant is mentally unstable."

"Well, well,"

Unlike Saber, Rider mumbled in agreement. He'd picked up the wine flask at some point and was nonchalantly refilling his goblet.

"Speaking of which, I think I know your True Name. Only one King is more arrogant than Iskandar."

Illya and Waver listened intently, but Rider didn't reveal the name.

"So, Archer, if you agree, we get the Grail?"

"Of course, but I have no reason to reward vermin like you."

"Are you reluctant?"

"Of course not. I only reward my subjects and people."

Archer smiled mockingly at Rider.

"Or, Rider, if you submit to me, I'll give you a couple of goblets."

"…Ah, that's impossible."

Rider scratched his chin, seemingly finding the offer too high, turning away.

"But Archer, the Grail is irrelevant to you; you're not seeking it for a wish."

"Of course. But I can't let someone steal my treasure; it's a matter of principle."

"Meaning…"

Rider drained his goblet.

"Meaning what? Is there a reason?"

"It's law."

Archer replied instantly.

"The law I, as King, established."

"Hmm."

Rider seemed to understand, sighing deeply.

"A perfect King, upholding his law. But I still want the Grail; I take what I want; I'm Iskandar, the King of Conquerors."

"Not if you attack; I will punish you; no exceptions."

"Then it's a battlefield showdown."

Archer and Rider nodded seriously, the relaxed atmosphere once again taut with tension.
