Chapter 3: Chapter 3: First x10 pull
'Oh, yeah, I remember this.' This was also the beginner summoning weapon for Tower to Hell. All weapons can be summoned from this banner, as it says, and, as it said, these seven weapons are the top of all rank 3 weapons.
Of course, it says rate up, but your chance of pulling one of the seven was so low that you would have a higher chance of being struck by lightning. Your best choice would be to get an uncommon rank 2 weapon or something.
And the grades in my game, from lowest to highest, are: common (yellow), uncommon (blue), rare (green), legendary (orange), mythical (indigo), demigod(violet), and God (red), representing the seven colors of the rainbow.
Common is, well, common. A random sword you find in the street is a common weapon. Uncommon gives an additional attribute and has built-in properties, and you can find some set effects here, like the Rhapso Beginner Set. You can also enhance them up to nine times, increasing the attribute they give.
Rare gives more additional attributes and has better built-in properties. You can enhance them up to twelve times, making their attributes better, and you can enchant them up to nine times to increase their built-in properties. You can also add up to three sockets to add gems, which have special effects. Also, unlike uncommon, most rare weapons have a set effect of two or more.
Legendary was just a better version of Rare, with fifteen times enhanced, 12 times enchant, and six sockets. Mythical is late-game weapons, and demigod-grade are end-game weapons.
But, that's beside the point. Time to summon.
Placing my left palm on my stomach, I joined the tips of my right thumb, index finger, and middle finger together. Bringing my joined three fingers to my forehead, I touched it lightly, "In the name of the Father."
I moved my hands downward to the middle of my chest and touched it lightly, saying, "And of the Son."
I touched my left shoulder, saying, "And of the Holy."
Moving my hand from my left shoulder to my right shoulder and completing the cross motion, I finished, "Spirit."
"Amen." I kissed my thumb.
"Neigh!" Horse, who I had forgotten about, also blessed me.
Turning, I saw it was returning to drink from the river. Feeling the cool breeze blow through the endless green grass field, I smiled. "Summon!"
The screen shattered and turned into a white pillar of light that shot into the sky. After a few seconds, the sky cleared and ten beams of different colors shot down—five yellow, four blue, and one green.
"Ah."
I got a rare one. "FUCK YES!" I just got that shit! A rank 4 weapon!
Pure bliss!
This is the power of gacha~
"Mmmmmph!!" My horse groaned as it moved away to continue drinking its water.
It is a stupid animal, so it wouldn't understand this kind of pleasure.
However, you might ask. There can be a rare rank 1 weapon, so how do I know it is a rank 4? Well, it's because there were no rare rank-0 weapons in my game.
Uncommon weapons start appearing at rank 1. Rare at rank 3. Legendary at rank 6. Mythical at rank 8. Demi-God at rank 10. And God at rank 12.
I hope it stays like that.
Also, what are ranks for? It is just the requirement to get the full benefit of the weapon. For example, a legendary Rank 6 weapon might give you +500 strength, but if you are a Rank 5 or Rank 7, you wouldn't be able to get the effect of that +500.
Additionally, you will not even be able to use any of the weapon abilities if the weapon is 4+ ranks above your current rank, so a Rank 0 like myself would not be able to use a rank 4 rare weapon ability but be able to use its ability if it is a rank 3. There is no way to rank down a weapon but there are ways to rank up weapons,
At least this weapon would allow me to use it from rank 0 through 12. "I just hope it is something useful."
I flipped the first card. I will save the green for last.
[Short Sword (Common): Rank 0]
More like a knife for me, next.
[Great Mace (Common): Rank 1]
"A rank one, huh." It's still common, so it wouldn't even give an extra stat, so whatever.
[Head Chaser Spear (Uncommon): Rank 4]
"Oh, this sounds interesting." And it's the same rank as the rare weapon.

I don't remember making this, but how am I supposed to remember everything I made in the game?
But besides that, "This is good." It is a spear that 'scales' with rank. If a rank 4 threw this, it would(?) surpass mach speed and retain that speed, and it could even double to mach 2 with the three-set bonus and mach 3 with the four-set bonus.
"It might even be able to stack." It never expectedly stated that it couldn't be stacked, so the three times might activate first, then the two times. "Whichever one comes first doesn't matter due to the associative property of multiplication."
Then there was the teleporting to the spear, which might come in clutch. 'Well, this is one of the most uncommon weapons based on ability.' Most uncommon only have one ability, but this one had three if you count its set effect. 'Maybe even four, with this 'mark head.'
However, I wasn't sure.
"Do I have to shout that chant?" If so, then I will only use it when I am going solo.
Ain't no way I am shouting that in front of people.
[Caestus (Common): Rank 0]
Next,
[Stone Hammer (Uncommon): Rank 4]
Another rank four uncommon? This and Head Chaser had the chance to be rare, and they failed. Fuckers.

Stone Hammer (Weakened Version)
Rank 4* (can be ignored)
Uncommon Great-Hammer
Requirements: None
Description: An iron rod was priced into a massive rectangular stone by a barbarian blacksmith and he was named the best barbarian blacksmith to ever live. It was once a Legendary weapon due to the barbarian belief in its power, but after barbarian extinction, this weapon lost its power and became a normal stone hammer.
+1 Strength.
Enhancement: 0/9
Barbaric Roar: One of the abilities given to the hammer by the belief of the barbarians. With a roar, your strength increases by 40% for 40 seconds. After the buff, -20% in all physical stats for 20 sec. CD: 20 sec after debubuff ends [Chant: Me Barbarian! Me STRONG!]
Barbaric Strength: Increase the hammer weight by 4 times, lasting for three seconds.
_____________________
"Ah." This is a weapon that has multiple forms. "No wonder it started off at rank 4."
And I even remember its Rank 6 version, the 'Legendary Stone Hammer of the Barbarian Hero.' I forgot what it actually does, but I remember that I made it so that if you want to go full strength in Tower to Hell, it would be one of the best weapons to use pre-rank 10. And it is even a growth-type weapon, so it could reach Mythical Grade but not Demi-God.
"And looking at its ability." It is already a powerful ability. 40% increase in strength and it can be used every twenty forty seconds, if you count the debuff. However, its debuff made this weapon look like a last-ditch effort kind of weapon. No one will want a 20% loss in all physical stats for 20 seconds in the middle of a battle. And if you have just ranked up and had all your stats reduced to 0, it will still affect you by reducing your hiding stats.
'Me Barbarian. Me strong.' Yeah, I definitely need to be at the door of death before I scream that out loud.
[Rapier (Common): Rank 0]
This is not even something I can use due to my size. It would look like a toothpick in my hands. Skipping the rare weapon, I went to the next weapon after it, an uncommon weapon.
[Cracked Nagjolinganda Crystal Dagger (Uncommon): Rank 1]
_____________________
Cracked Nagjolinganda Crystal Dagger
Rank 1* (can be ignored)
Uncommon Spear
Requirements: None
Description: A dagger fashioned from pure Nagjolinganda crystal; a deed impossible for a mortal. It was once Enwreathed with powerful magic, but it cracked and lost most of its magic.
+1 in all stats.
Enhancement: 0/9
Last Magic: Increase Rank by three ranks for three minutes. There are no side effects, but this dagger would shatter after one use. [Chant: …]
_____________________
I scrolled and scrolled and scrolled, then decided.
Yep, fuck that. The chant is so long, it looks like it will take more than three days to finish. "Jesus."
I mean, it makes sense since it increases your rank by three ranks for three minutes with no side effects, but three days of continuous chanting? So, you would have to finish your chant at home, then rush to the battlefield to use the new power you have before the time limit.
'I mean, if you were a rank nine, you would become a rank 12, which would basically be a GG for whoever you are fighting.' But three days of chanting? And it will break after one use?
'I wonder if there is a version of this weapon that isn't cracked.' If there is, it would probably be a Legendary or higher rank weapon. 'Maybe that one would have a shorter chant and wouldn't break after one use.'
However, I will still use it. At least, have it on my person as the base addition attribute is +1 in all stats, which is the absolute best for any uncommon weapon, even surpassing some rare. This is a weapon you can not dismantle. 'If I enhance it, it will get even better.' This should be my focus for now.
[Blood Coated Greatsword (Common): Rank 2]
Next,
[Wizards Remnant Notes (Uncommon): Rank 2]
_____________________
Wizards Remnant Notes
Rank 2* (can be ignored)
Uncommon Grimoire
Requirements: None
Description: A grimoire that contains the note of a wizard.
+3 in magic.
Enhancement: 0/9
Mage Speed: Due to the notes in this grimoire, those who hold it gain a 30% increase in chanting speed.
Mage Rage: Due to the notes in this grimoire, those who hold it gain a 30% increase magic damage
_____________________
"What are the odds?" A spear that takes three days to finish chanting and a Grimoire that increases chanting speed by ten percent. It's still going to take around 2.1 days to finish the chant, so it doesn't change much.
'At least it looks like a passive.' That's the only good thing.
Now, for what we have all been waiting for.
"Drumroll!"
*Clip-clop*
*clip-clop*
*clip-clop*
My horse was running around, giving me a drumroll.
"NOW!"
"Neeeigh!" My horse got shocked and tripped, but I ignored it and flipped the card.
[Kilometer Great Bow (Rare): Rank 9]
Ah… All my excitement disappeared.
I got the bow.
I don't have anything against bows, but it could have been something else. Like a hammer or something I could use, but a bow? I don't even know how to draw a bow properly.
Haah. "At least it's a rank nine."
It might have better stats than if it was a rank-four weapon since it is rare.
Let's just see what it does.
_____________________
Kilometer Great Bow
Rank 9* (can be ignored)
Rare Bow
Requirements: None
Description: A massive bow used by a Goliath to shoot down a Dragon.
+10 Strength

100 Kilometer Shot: Activated when the bowstring is fully drawn. Enable the user to see everything within a 100-kilometer radius, through obstacles, underground, and wherever within that radius, with their vision unimpeded by regular means. When an object is fired from this bow, its velocity increases by 10% per kilometer until it crosses 100 km. CD: 1000 minutes
Enchantment: 0/9
Sockets 0/3

"…" I had expected its ability to be different from the game, but this ability is really something.
Let's create a formula for the first ability, shall we?
Let V1 represent the initial velocity of the arrow in meters per second (m/s)
Let R represent the rate of increase in velocity per kilometer (5% increase = 0.05).
Let D represent the distance the arrow travels in kilometers (km).
Let T represent the Time in seconds for the arrow to travel distance d
Since the velocity increases by 10% per kilometer, after traveling 'D' kilometers, the velocity 'V' can be modeled exponentially as:
So, the formula for the first ability would be;
V = V1 * (1+r)^d
If an arrow is initially shot at 100 m/s, to find the speed after it has traveled 50 km, plug in the values:
V = 100 * (1.05)^50
That will equal 1100 m/s.
So, from 223.694 mph, it will end at 2460.63 mph, or Mach 2.3.
'…' I mean, Mach 3.2.
A big jump, and if we use the same formula for the second ability but change the rate to 1.10 for the 10% increase instead of 5%, and using the same initial velocity and the same distance, we get 11739.0853 m/s.
"Mach 34." Cold sweat covered my back. "If it travels the full 100…"
Mach 4017.
"Equip Kilometer Great Bow."
