Chapter 3: Chapter 2: The First Three Summon
Somewhere in the vast multiverse, a frustrated Ai Hayasaka sat in her dimly lit room, staring at her phone.
"...I see."
Her voice was quiet, resigned. The call had ended, but its weight lingered.
Miss Kaguya…
For years, Hayasaka had been trapped in an endless cycle, living as both a maid and a spy. A double life, suffocating yet inescapable.
She clenched her fists.
"Lord God… please… change this fate."
At that moment, a blinding white light engulfed the room.
The phone slipped from her hands.
And in the blink of an eye—she was gone.
---
At the same time, across different worlds, two other girls also vanished into similar bursts of radiant light.
In another world, a swordswoman in black Demon Slayer Corps attire felt a strange pull just before she could react.
In yet another, a quiet, unnoticeable schoolgirl disappeared without a single sound.
Three worlds. Three girls. One god calling them forth.
---
Back in Orario…
"Master! The summoning is complete!"
Sora, still adjusting to his newfound status as a god, barely had time to process what the system had just told him.
"Wait, what do you mean, I have to handle the rest?!"
"Well... believers don't work for free, you know! They have their own thoughts, their own desires. Even if you're a god, you need to give them something to believe in!"
Sora was about to argue when—
FWOOOOOSH!
Three figures materialized before him, bathed in fading white light.
And as the light disappeared, they collapsed onto the grass.
Sora's eyes widened.
"Ai Hayasaka… Kanae Kocho… Kato Megumi?!"
"EHHHH?!"
He nearly choked.
"System! I only get three summons, and you gave me two girls with zero combat power?!"
Hayasaka Ai—maid, spy, excellent strategist, but not a fighter.
Megumi Kato—so unnoticeable that even monsters might ignore her, but still not a fighter.
At least Kanae Kocho had serious combat skills, being a former Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. But that was just one warrior out of three!
"Master! If you wanted to summon specific people, you'd need to spend a ton of resources! This was a random draw!"
Sora clenched his fists. "This system is a gacha scam."
---
As he was fuming, the first girl stirred.
"...Lord God…?"
Hayasaka Ai opened her eyes, her usual composed expression cracking slightly as she took in her surroundings.
The moment she saw Sora standing before her, something clicked in her mind.
The memories. The knowledge the system had given her.
She quickly sat up, eyes scanning him with sharp intelligence.
Next to her, the other two girls also began to wake.
Kanae Kocho blinked in confusion, then gracefully pushed herself up, her calm and gentle demeanor already surfacing.
Megumi Kato, as expected, barely made a sound. She sat up quietly, adjusting her sailor uniform with a small sigh.
All three turned to Sora.
And then—
"Lord God?"
Their voices overlapped, uncertain yet filled with an instinctual reverence.
Even Kanae Kocho, who had spent her past life fighting demons, instinctively addressed him with respect.
Sora exhaled, still trying to process everything.
"...So, you three already know about this world?"
The girls exchanged glances, then nodded.
Hayasaka Ai was the first to speak.
"Yes… I understand. This place… It's truly a different world. A world ruled by gods."
She closed her eyes briefly, taking a deep breath. "I see now. So this is fate."
Megumi tilted her head. "So, does this mean we're adventurers now?"
Kanae smiled softly. "Not quite. It seems we are to form a Familia under Lord Sora."
Sora felt a shiver run down his spine at how smoothly she called him that.
"Ding! New quest issued: Establish your Familia in Orario!"
The system's voice rang out again.
"Master, you need to enter Orario, register your Familia, and secure a home—all within today!"
Sora groaned. "You want me to found an entire Familia in just a few hours?!"
"Of course! Every god does this when they arrive in Orario!"
Right. Every god.
Including him.
But there was just one problem…
"...I don't have any money."
The girls stared at him.
Kanae, ever composed, simply smiled. "That is a problem."
Hayasaka crossed her arms. "So, what's the plan, Lord Sora?"
Sora rubbed his temples. He needed to think fast.
"We head to Orario first. If we're lucky, we can find an abandoned building or something."
He turned to the girls. "We move now."
Hayasaka Ai immediately nodded. "Understood."
Kanae placed a hand on her sword and gave a small bow. "As you wish, Lord Sora."
Megumi Kato simply followed without a word, as if she had always been part of the group.
---
The sun was high by the time they reached the city.
From a distance, the towering Babel stood tall, casting its imposing shadow over Orario.
Sora had seen it in anime before, but now, standing before it in reality, the sheer scale was overwhelming.
The streets bustled with adventurers, merchants, and common citizens. Beastkin, elves, dwarves, and humans all moved together in a chaotic, lively mix.
It was an entirely different world.
Hayasaka Ai and Megumi Kato glanced around with barely hidden curiosity.
Kanae, on the other hand, remained perfectly calm, observing everything like a seasoned warrior.
Sora pulled out the map the system had given him.
"Alright, we need to find the Guild Hall first. That's where I can officially register as a god and establish our Familia."
Hayasaka took the map from his hands.
"...Found it. This way."
With her natural efficiency, she led them through the crowded streets.
Minutes later, they stood before a large, elegant building—the Adventurers' Guild.
As they stepped inside, the air was filled with the scent of parchment, ink, and the faint tension of people discussing quests.
Behind the counter, a certain bespectacled half-elf receptionist was sorting through paperwork.
Sora's eyes widened slightly.
"Eina Tulle…"
The moment she noticed their approach, Eina gave a practiced smile.
"Welcome to the Adventurers' Guild! How can I help you?"
Sora stepped forward.
"I'm here to register a Familia."
Eina blinked.
"...Excuse me?"
Sora smiled.
"I'm a god. And I'm founding a Familia today."
