"Thank you for giving me a name, my queen. I'll begin my training immediately so I won't become a burden in the future."

Lyuu and Serie left the house, leaving me alone.

I lay on my back and stared at the ceiling.

"Such overwhelming power..." I murmured. "Isn't it amazing?"

Ouranos is one of the few gods I don't feel confident facing.

"This can't be happening." The falna Ares gave me had vanished—I no longer had it.

And that could only mean one thing.

"Ares is dead..." I murmured, still in disbelief.

A wave of despair hit me.

"What do I do? What do I do?" I started biting my nails, desperately trying to come up with a plan. But no matter how hard I thought, I couldn't find a solution.

That means my father is dead too.

"Damn it. If both of them are gone, then the country is in my hands now? I'm not ready for this."

I wanted to go to Orario and become an adventurer—that was my dream.

But my father didn't allow it.

He told me to stay here and succeed him when he passed. But now, both Ares and my father are dead.

And... I lost my falna—my abilities.

Not just me, all the generals lost their strength.

Our nation's army is in ruins.

"I can't do this. I need to get out of here—now."

I ran out of my room, and a few men appeared.

"Your Majesty!"

"Are you alright, Your Majesty?"

They might even take advantage of this and try to take control of our country.

"Your Majesty?"

"Then think fast!"

"Alright, alright, I'm working on it. For now, go outside and make sure this information doesn't spread."

"Understood!"

The men rushed outside, and the commotion died down shortly after.

While they tried to calm the situation, I was already in my room, packing a bag with clothes.

With food, water, and clothes packed, I mounted a horse without anyone noticing and rode toward Orario.

It took less than two days for the news to reach Orario.

Everyone now knew:

God Ares is dead. And he was killed by an unknown individual.

No one knew exactly who killed him—and frankly, few cared.

Only Freya and Loki, goddesses of the two strongest Familias in Orario, were disturbed by the event.

They wanted to know what happened, because the death of a god is no ordinary matter.

The death of a god is a very serious thing.

They couldn't just ignore it.

But how would they uncover who was behind it?

No one had much information. No one knew where Ares had died.

That is, until someone brought valuable information to Loki, hoping to join her Familia.

A strange man, dressed in clothing that even concealed his face.

After Ares' death, the man lost his powers, which left him desperate. He was seeking to join another Familia—a powerful one like Loki's or Freya's.

He wanted to become a respected adventurer.

But Freya refused to listen to him. Loki, however, did not.

When Loki heard the information—

"Ares died after going to the World Tree."

—her heart skipped a beat.
