Danmachi- New game in the dungeon

After we were ready, we dive to floor 27 directly in order to face Amphisbaena who was currently swimming freely at the huge lake where the waterfall ends.

Man its huge, around double the size of my dragon mech. It also has two heads one with red crystals growing and other one with blue crystals. According to info I have the one with red crystals breath out some red mist which can diffuse magic base attacks so Crystal won't be of much use here. As for blue one its more set on attack with its aqua blue flames. Yes you heard right it also have blue flames but unlike Crystals where her fire is blue due to its super high or cold temperature this one's flames is blue for its property to burn things even in water.

ROOAARRRR!!!!

Upon sensing us as we got closer, both of its heads roared at the same time ready for a battle.

Hearing the roar Shades also got pumped up for a battle and release a battle cry of his own, attacking with a 20% charged EXP attack....

EXCALIBUR!!!!!!!

Releasing a wave of blood red energy toward Amphisbaena. In defense its red head also release a red mist but it did next to nothing as EXP attack is not a magic based attack but a life based attack, which it learned the hard way missing a huge chunk of its body after the attack landed on it.

Although it was only 20% of total stored EXP but Shades slayed a lot of monsters even if he spend a bit here and there, so there was still a lot of EXP stored in the sword.

WUUUSSSSSS!!!

In retaliation to that EXP attack Amphisbaena's blue head attack with its blue flames but Crystal used her own cold fire against it to overpower and push back its flames but ultimately can't do much because of red mist around it.

SLASH!

While they were keeping each other busy I sneak in a slash on its spine of blue head but sadly can't cut of the whole head still giving a 2 meter deep cut successfully cutting the spine. Even if my sword can cut almost everything my strength is still limiting its true power, I also don't know any proper sword technique so its also a factor.

With its blue head almost gone, red one start trying to smash me under its weight but I manage to slip away.

EXCALIBUR!!!!!

BOOOM!!!

Another 20% charged EXP attack from Shades but Amphisbaena manage to used its almost dead blue head some how to block that attack, sacrificing it in the process, which ended up blown into pieces.

SLASH! SLASH!

Finding my chance I landed two quick slash while activating my sword's space cutter ability 'only partially' for extra range and sharpness cutting its head of with a clean cut as the very space was cut there which restored itself immediately.

And our fight end with me landing the final hit. But the High EXP was divided between both me and Shades equally. Ya High EXP, so what's that, system explain....

[High EXP: It can be used as high quality excelia to level up from level 1 onwards or can be used as normal EXP. 1 High EXP is equal to 50 ordinary EXP.]

So yaa simple but nice stuff Shades will love it.

While I and Shades were discussing about this High EXP thing and the damage it can cause when its used in EXP attacks Crystal was using her ice to drag the corpse of Amphisbaena to the shore for me to extract the stone and all things I can get out of it.

Soon I start removing those red crystals growing on its head as blue one was destroyed using tools made with the help of guide with fortune III rune so it won't disappear as for the magic stone I left it for the end so the corpse won't disappear before I extract all useful material.

Diamond armor made up of anti-magic red crystals is really appealing for some reason or even a shield of anti-magic. Its too good to not try making them even if I have to take help from system service.

"Anyway lets keep grinding till we can get Shades his new armor." I said aloud Shades seems to be very happy and excited about this but Crystal was a bit bored and sheepish.

We grinded for next 10 days on this floor well mostly it was Shades. We have farmed a bit over 30,500 points. During this time I and Shades also got to know a bit more about each other while fighting the monsters left and right. We also become become good friends as we had a lot in common more than we thought. We both are lovers of our treasured swords, love fighting as well as we are good assassins truly partners in crime.

As for Crystal I send her back at home after transferring all my money to her inventory to do as she see fit or decorate the base second and third floor as underground, first and forth floor will be done by me. During our dungeon diving I also found that she found all this grinding boring but like exploring.

Now before we go back to surface I will first give Shades his Reward, his brand new mythical armor 'Dark Berserker's armor set'.

As soon as he wear it black mist start coming out of him with all the armor gap and helmet visor emitting red glow. This armor was made up of rough metal plates unlike the traditional smooth polished metal plates and completely black in color with midnight blue long hair like plume on the top back of his helmet.
