Dark Fire Prince

Rina's profession was a tailor, she could mend everyone except herself, had punched Rina's face until it turned dark. Later she mended it. She sat in her room for hours just to make sure she was presentable. She got out.

Cloe was chatting with Kim, as they always did, she faced Ariana and gave a sinister smile, Ariana's mood dropped.

"Don't worry, I am not keen on claiming my wins on the bet, I'll claim it after the mission!" Cloe said.

"Iron and the twins are coming, we'll leave when we've got the oldest maps. The map Erizak gave us was made recently, probably after the attack, they've gone to meet a dealer!" Kim said.

"The dealers here in the west always have the item you want, but they don't intend to give out the items, they take your money and cheat you!" Ariana said.

"Let's get them, they may cause a scene in town, get ready, Cloe try locating them, I'll pick up some disguises from a store out.

Kim left, Cloe summoned a campus, she started casting spells on it, it pointed towards the west. Kim came with black gowns, they changed and went out. They moved through dark alleys, it was already dark. Locals were now filling the streets, drinking their sorrows.

They climbed rooftops, moving from one to another.

Ribu was standing on a desolate street, with Iron and Ribu were behind him. A group of soldiers were facing them, they sent a man carrying a map scroll.

"Give me the gold, I have your map!" The man said.

"I have to first verify if it's authentic, don't want to be scammed." Rinah said.

The man unfolded the map, it had the authentic old seal of the previous empire.

Kim used sign language, he told Cloe to swoop in and get the map in case the soldiers chose to scam them. He instructed Ariana to slow the man, buying time for Cloe.

Just as they thought, the soldier took the gold, he didn't hand over the map, he just turned to rush back to his colleagues, who were forming a battle formation.

Iron drew his sword and followed, Ribu cast a skill spell, wind blades flew from his sword and attacked the running soldier, the soldier leaped and dodged, Ariana's spell hit him, he drank a potion and it's effects were nullified, Cloe swooped in, she aimed for the scroll, she missed it,but hit his hand, the scroll flew towards the soldiers, their captain was smiling.

A man ran out of the soldiers' formation and caught the map. He cast a teleportation spell and disappeared. He appeared behind Ariana.

"Let's get out of here!" He said.

"Alright!" Ariana said, she cast a teleportation spell and the two of them disappeared. Half an hour later the others arrived. They got Kim studying the map.

"These guys were so resilient, they attacked at once, they wanted to kill us!" Iron said.

"Yea, this map was top secret, it's unreadable to those soldier. They didn't know that this was more valuable than the entire western state." Kim said. "It shows nearly all the covered caves in this mountainous state. With all the four covered gates of the underworld!"

The map they got was one of the older ones, it didn't even have the new villages, Iron began copying it, merging it with the one Erizak had given them. It took him almost three hours, after he was done, he called them over.

"What did you notice?" Kim asked.

"The village they attacked was within a five mile radius from the Vizia gate of the underworld. It is the smallest gate, it probably belongs to the red spirits. There was a dwarf settlement near the gate, but it's underground, so no news have been heard from there yet!" Iron said.

"Let's go shopping in the dwarves town!" Cloe said.

"Yes, everyone get ready, we're leaving at sunrise!" Kim said." I'll keep watch!"

The other guys went to rest. Kim kept studying the map. The dwarves settlement was opposite the underworld gate, it even faced the opposite direction. Both were on the same hill, but on different faces and opposite directions. Kim continued studying the new map. He felt need for historical books of the West, he decided to visit the library immediately, he stood up from his seat.

"Wanna sneak out?" He heard the voice.

"Yea, you keep watch, I just got to go out for a few moments, I need something." He said.

"Who is it?" She asked.

"It. I am going to the library, I was with you all day, whom do you think it is?" Kim replied.

"It's okay, you can go!" She said.

"Okay, I won't be gone for long!" Kim said.

He walked out. Ariana was out.

"I heard you tell Cloe about the library, I also want to visit it!" She said.

"You got my permission if it's what you want!" He said.

"I wanted to accompany you!" She said.

"It's inconvenient to me, I can't move with you in the dark. It's better if it remains like that!" He said.

"You think am hitting on you?" She asked.

"Not really, am telling you not to!" He said.

Ariana smiled, he saw the smile and walked away. He was laughing on the inside, he went out at once. Ariana walked back into the room.

"You owe me over twenty slaps, you can suggest another bet to clear them!" Cloe laughed.

"You tricked me! You knew he isn't interested in girls!" Ariana said.

"He is interested in girls, you are his taste but he can't allow himself any distraction, he is making a tactical plan, I can assure you that when he is free, in the winter, he'll be eager for such games!" Cloe said.

"You seem to know him well!"Ariana said.

"He is my best friend!" Cloe said.

"Oh!" Ariana replied. "You know all his girls!"

"Yeah, and they all know me!" Cloe replied. "They can all kill you with one spell! He likes girls who are stronger than him, they all are royals, and they only acknowledge strong rivals!"

Kim had snuck into the library, he wanted a book about the dwarves society, in the Vizia hill. He entered the history section, he checked throughout the whole section but got none. A gaurd entered with a torch powered by a blue crystal, it's light covered the entire library. Kim hid. The gaurd entered the history section. He sprinkled some powder on one book shelf, the books began shining. The book names shone in the blue light.

"I've shown you what you want, let my family go." The said.

"They are free now, just the one looking for this book, then take it out for us!"A voice echoed through the room.

"Show yourself!" The gaurd said. "You'll serve as a scapegoat for me!"

"That depends on how you'll make it seem. Colluding with demons to destroy information your ancestors tried hard to protect, I'll be your judge today!"

"If not a ghost hunter, who else would say such brave words!" The voice said. "I've already killed a team of low class ghost hunters, you'll soon join them! Darren, take the book out, hide it well if you want your family to live! I'll kill the last witness!" Darren picked the book and began his exit, Kim threw a dart at his back, it didn't hurt him, so he continued running.
