Chapter 26: Chapter 26: A Conversation Between Two Women
There was no helping it.
Lady Kiri sighed inwardly. They still couldn't be sure what kind of person Li Ke truly was, which meant someone had to confirm whether he was really capable of sending them back to their original worlds.
This world was fascinating, yes, but she had unfinished business waiting for her back home.
Revenge.
That's right—revenge.
Lady Kiri ran a hand over her scars. She didn't need to think too hard to understand what had likely happened in her absence. With both her and Katu gone, coupled with the betrayal and manipulation of that traitor, there was no way the defenses at Arden Heights could have held. Even without being a strategist, she knew just how devastating internal strife could be in a crisis.
Most importantly, when she had first fallen into the Sea of Sky, she had already suspected that there was a traitor among them. If she could return in time, there was still a chance she could make it back before the Callet forces launched their attack.
And the price? Just her virginity—something she had managed to keep intact for over twenty years. Compared to the lives of her comrades and the satisfaction of cutting down a traitor with her own hands, it was a trivial cost.
The only reason she hadn't trusted Li Ke before was that he had been too forthcoming. He had spoken about things most people wouldn't even dare mention, making it hard not to suspect he was the mastermind behind their sudden arrival in this world—perhaps to use them for some twisted purpose.
Like taking them for himself and then disposing of them. Or turning them into slaves.
She had encountered plenty of scum like that over the years.
But…
Tomorrow would be the fifth day.
It had already been five days since she arrived in this world. And who knew when those Callet bastards would attack Arden Heights? If she didn't get back soon, even if she managed to return, regaining control of Arden Heights would be impossible.
She hadn't forgotten the situation she was in when she first arrived—falling straight into the ocean. If she wanted to return, she'd have to fight her way through at least one or two Callet camps.
"Still, isn't there a better way? You don't have to rush into this," Tsunade remarked.
She could understand Lady Kiri's reasoning. If her own loved ones and comrades were still alive, and if sleeping with Li Ke was truly the only way to return, she wouldn't hesitate either.
For a shinobi, purity was a luxury.
Besides, as a medical ninja, repairing a hymen or making it seem untouched was an effortless task.
She wouldn't even need to do anything special—activating her Byakugō no Jutsu just once would be enough to restore it naturally.
But for Tsunade, there was no longer any point in going back. She had no reason to return.
Konoha was nothing but a place of sorrow for her. The only person she had any lingering attachments to was Shizune, but she was just Dan's niece. Even if she disappeared completely, the old man would take good care of her.
Her former teacher, despite his hardened exterior, was still capable of kindness when it truly mattered.
"I'd love to explore this strange world before going back, but I just can't afford to," Lady Kiri said, shrugging. "There are still people waiting for me in my homeland, and I have unfinished business. So, no choice. Besides, I've always been curious about whether that kind of thing actually feels good, so I guess I'll finally get my answer."
She spread her hands in a carefree gesture, as if it was no big deal.
Tsunade remained silent for a moment.
Honestly, she liked Lady Kiri's personality. If things were different, if she weren't in such a heavy mood, and if this place had anything worth enjoying, she would have loved to sit down and have a drink with her.
But right now, she just couldn't muster the enthusiasm.
"…If you do go through with it, come find me before you leave," Tsunade finally said. "I can fix it for you. It may not seem like a big deal, but it's still a flaw of sorts. I can make sure it's as good as new."
It wasn't something she usually cared about, and it might even seem deceptive, but she could tell that Lady Kiri's decision was driven by genuine loyalty to her comrades. Given that, it wasn't something worth judging.
That said, in the era she came from, people still placed a lot of importance on such things.
"Huh? Wouldn't that be lying?" Lady Kiri laughed. "No need. Sure, I would've preferred a romantic date before getting to that part, but since I've already made up my mind, there's no point in dwelling on it."
She waved a hand dismissively.
"Besides, fake is fake, and a lie is a lie. If someone truly loves me, they won't care about something so trivial."
Her tone was lighthearted, but there was a clear conviction behind her words.
"If anything, if a woman's 'purity' is such a big deal, then what about men? What if a woman meets a bad man? How does that count? Men don't exactly have a physical way to prove whether they've been with someone before. Does that mean every woman should avoid any man who's been in a relationship? Hah! If people actually followed that logic, half the men in the world would never be able to get married."
She spread her hands in mock exasperation, as if amused by the absurdity of it all.
"To put it bluntly, what men hate is when someone has clearly done everything, but still insists on acting like 'I'm a pure little fairy,' with it written all over their face and behavior, demanding this and that, trying to raise their value to get more from men. I'm not that kind of b*tch, so I don't care about that. True love and feelings—who cares about things like that? Even if someone does care, it can turn into a sweet romantic comedy, strengthening the bond between both sides rather than becoming a source of conflict."
Lady Kiri proudly pointed her thumb at her own heart.
"But me, I might not even get married. Who knows, maybe one day I'll meet my end during some adventure, so I don't care about these things. Even if something like that happens, I wouldn't hide it."
Tsunade, who lived in a semi-ancient world, looked at Lady Kiri in surprise. After a moment of silence, she shook her head.
"Sorry, I can't accept your way of thinking. To me, loving someone means giving them the best of yourself—whether it's your first time or anything else…"
Tsunade couldn't help but hug her own arms. She found it laughable. She was older than Lady Kiri, yet she couldn't be as carefree and laid-back about life.
And so, she couldn't help but ask:
"You must really love your family, right?"
Otherwise, she couldn't understand why Lady Kiri would willingly tarnish her own purity just to go back.
In Tsunade's mind, only the love for one's family was worth such a sacrifice.
"They're all dead."
Lady Kiri answered flatly.
"They were shot dead in front of me when I was very young. If it wasn't for an old man who was kind enough to teach and raise me, I'd probably have ended up like those women who had to sell their bodies just to survive under the chaos caused by the Kartel. After all, I'm pretty good-looking."
As she said this, Lady Kiri pinched her soft chest.
"No matter how you look at it, I'm pretty big for a normal person."
At this point, she couldn't help but glance at Tsunade, whose size was downright unnatural. On Tsunade's slightly shorter frame, it stood out even more.
If it weren't for Tsunade's mature face, which carried a lot of age and experience, she could have easily been called a baby-faced woman with an enormous chest.
"Um… yeah."
Tsunade instinctively covered her chest. Though she was well past the age of caring about size, being admired still made her unconsciously curl her lips into a smile.
It was similar to how men boast about their size even though length isn't the true measure of ability—hardness and stamina are—but many still take pride in it. It's an old-fashioned form of worship and pride over these kinds of physical traits.
To someone like Tsunade, whose mindset was a bit old-fashioned, she was still proud of her body.
Good for bearing children, and beautiful too.
Yes, in the time she grew up, being good for childbearing was still an important standard. And Tsunade had the classic childbearing body!
Not only that, but her figure and looks were also quite stunning. If it weren't for her temper and her decision to become a ninja, she could've easily become a high-ranking lady.
Of course, not the wife of the Daimyo of the Fire Country, since her bloodline was too close to that family. The current Daimyo was even more closely related to her. So, even if she were to become the Daimyo's wife, it would likely be in the Land of Lightning or the Land of Earth.
But considering the relationship between those countries and Konoha…
Yeah, that was a bit unrealistic.
Still, what bothered her more was something else.
"You're really strong."
Tsunade looked at Lady Kiri, unable to hide her envy. If she could be as carefree as Lady Kiri, she wouldn't be so troubled.
Lady Kiri had gone through much more difficult experiences, but she could still live so optimistically, whereas Tsunade couldn't. She had even reached a point where she didn't care if she died anymore. She couldn't compare to this girl.
Lady Kiri simply shrugged.
"There's no such thing as being strong or not. Just being alive means we're already doing our best. So why not enjoy every day? After all, who knows if we'll still be alive tomorrow? Getting caught up in sadness makes your life unbearably boring."
After speaking, Lady Kiri downed the rest of her beer and casually grabbed a towel, starting to dry her evenly toned and beautiful body.
Seeing this, Tsunade also climbed out of the tub. As she bent down, Lady Kiri couldn't help but glance at her chest, clearly watching the water droplets gather on Tsunade's skin. The water flowed down from the tips of her rosy pink nipples, forming a long stream that dripped down.
"..."
The sheer size left her speechless.
