DC/Marvel: This Guy is Insane

Chapter 76: Chapter 76: Alan’s Rage

Vampire Kenster stared at his abdomen in disbelief, at the bloody hole that had appeared out of nowhere. There was a distance of three meters between him and Batman; it was clear that Batman hadn't made the move.

Pfft!

Blood splattered.

When he looked up, he found another person wearing a similar suit standing next to Batman.

"Ah…" Kenster let out an unwilling roar as his body turned to ashes, bit by bit.

"The Blade of Redemption!" Bruce recognized the weapon Alan had used.

Alan waved the Blade of Redemption, which was the length of a fruit knife, and said proudly, "Not anymore. This is the knife I use for trimming my toenails." That's right, the Blade of Redemption that the Ninja Master had been dreaming of, Alan used it to shave his calluses every time he took a shower. He really couldn't think of any other use for it.

"How can this knife hurt a vampire?" Bruce was puzzled. Logically speaking, only silver weapons could kill vampires.

"Vampires are dark creatures with souls imprisoned in their bodies. It makes sense that they can be redeemed by the Blade of Redemption," Alan spouted nonsense in a serious manner. Of course, there was some truth to this. It was likely a holy object, which would naturally have a restraining effect on dark creatures.

"Hey, Bats, let's play a game. It's guaranteed to be fun." Alan was beaming with joy as he suddenly came up with an interesting idea.

"How do we play?" With such powerful backup, Bruce was no longer timid.

"Hehehehe…"

Thirteenth floor.

Bruce walked openly down the aisle, without any of his usual rigor and vigilance. At the end of the corridor was an empty office area. A team of vampires armed with cold weapons had been waiting for a long time.

"Batman is truly extraordinary, defeating Kenster, who had awakened his speed talent," the leader, a thin man with smoky makeup around his eyes and a samurai sword slung over his shoulder, said. The other six vampires held various weapons, all unpopular and extremely lethal. Even so, Bruce, who claimed to be proficient in hundreds of fighting styles, could not recognize two of them.

"Awakening talent?" Bruce grasped the key words and had some answers in his mind.

"The first generation of hybrids all have their talents awakened, similar to mutants gaining a variety of abilities," the smoky man explained proudly. Strictly speaking, the innate abilities of the first generation of hybrids were far inferior to those of mutants. Of course, the advantage in lifespan was enough to crush them. As powerful as an Omega-level being might be, they only had the lifespan of an ordinary person.

"End of the small talk." Bruce raised his hand to resemble a pistol and said solemnly, "I am actually a wizard who can kill people remotely through witchcraft."

Hahahaha…

For a moment, all the vampires burst into laughter. Batman was famous as a well-known physical warrior. How could he be a wizard? He must have been scared silly.

"It seems you don't believe me." Bruce pursed his lips and decided to make a slightly shameful sound. "Biu!"

Puff…

The leading vampire was laughing the loudest, so Bruce aimed at him. The next second, a bloody hole was clearly visible at the location of his heart.

"You…" the vampire didn't finish his words before his body turned into ashes uncontrollably.

"What's going on? What kind of ability is this?"

"Does Batman really know witchcraft?"

"That's impossible. If he really knew witchcraft, why did he often fall into the hands of criminals in the past?"

"Who is he?" After launching an attack, Alan's invisibility effect was automatically removed, and the six vampires were shocked to find a stranger among them.

"Don't be afraid. I'm the Comedic Bat, and I'm not a good person."

Pfft!

After saying that, Alan stabbed the vampire next to him to death with the dagger.

"Kill him." Suddenly, weapons of various shapes came slashing at him. The innate abilities of these first-generation hybrids were all to enhance physical fitness. It was extremely rare for them to give birth to extraordinary abilities. Therefore, Alan could easily kill them one by one.

Bruce felt an indescribable sense of relief when he saw that Alan was able to deal with the tough enemy alone. It was indeed a great pleasure to have a powerful helper.

"Bats, how about it? Fun, isn't it?" Alan said proudly.

"Very good," Bruce said perfunctorily. He was not used to the trickery he had just used. After all, his usual style was different.

Alan said expectantly, "This time it's my turn to pretend to be a wizard."

Bruce spread his hands. "I can't be invisible."

"It's a pity. You can continue to pretend to be a wizard." Alan sighed and said, "Who asked me to spoil you?"

"…"

Bruce couldn't help but think to himself, This guy's condition is getting worse. Not only is he getting crazier, but he's also having more attacks. It's time to put a plan on the table to prevent him from losing control of his mind one day.

But was it really that easy to deal with Alan? As Bruce traveled through timelines again and again, reaching the maximum level in each profession, he would discover how terrifying Alan truly was.

They went straight up to the fourteenth floor. Living people were sealed in vacuum bags, with rubber tubes in their mouths and noses to maintain breathing and deliver nutrient solution. These people were already skin and bones, with IV tubes inserted into the veins of their hands to draw blood.

"Damn vampires." Seeing this scene, Bruce was furious. Obviously, the vampires had captured humans and were using them as blood banks to supply blood for long-term consumption. Rows of them were hung on iron racks, treated like frozen pork.

"These people must be homeless." Alan observed that they all had one thing in common: their hair was dirty and long, and their faces were haggard and pale, which must have been the result of living in the open for a long time.

At this moment, Bruce was silent. When the vampires had invaded, they had been concerned with the citizens of Gotham from beginning to end and had never considered the homeless. The police had never conducted statistics, thus subconsciously ignoring their existence. The Wayne Group was a charity that distributed food and supplies for free at regular intervals and locations. It could be said that they were providing help to the best of their ability, but it was impossible to cover everything. Even if Bruce had hundreds of billions of assets, he would not be able to support such a large number of homeless people.

"Hey, Bats, call the police to solve the problem and draw widespread attention from society," Alan analyzed seriously. "As long as the matter is exposed, the vampires won't dare to arrest people and draw blood recklessly."

"We can call the police, but we can't expose it to prevent the vampires from doing even crazier things." Bruce thought more comprehensively, and many questions flashed through his mind. The vampires were spread all over the world. With their long lifespans, they must have accumulated terrifying wealth, but they might not necessarily have a deterrent effect through the media. If the vampires were angered and more serious retaliation was provoked, more innocent people would be endangered.

"You decide. I'm going to kill the vampire." Alan turned invisible with a gloomy face. Perhaps this situation had irritated him.

At the same time, Bruce's eyes flashed with recognition, and he said to himself, "He may be a little crazy at ordinary times, but he always cares about human beings. I can trust him unconditionally."

To deal with the vampires, we should establish a response organization. A bold idea arose in Bruce's mind.
