Dead city: beginning of the end

The group is keeping things chill for once—no chaos, no screaming, just some lowkey peace and quiet (finally). Then... the softest moment of the apocalypse happens.

Raven and Orion have some ship time. Raven admits,

Raven (softly): "This place is kinda scary," and Orion casually hits her with a

Orion :"So are you." 😳

Raven: "...Is that a compliment?"

Orion freezes.

Raven( grins): "I'll take it as one."

Cue grocery run: they load up on food, water, torches, clothes, extra knives, a knife sharpener, and the most important thing of all—

✨ A MAP. ✨😭🤌

On the walkie-talkies:

Jade talks nonstop about a hair serum

Blake: "She's been talking about that bottle for 5 minutes."

Austin: "Can we use a cactus as a weapon?"

Grayson & Virin: "Austin,NO!"

Back with Orion, Raven

Raven:"It's nice having you around. And everyone else."

Orion: "Same here."

Then she blushes. Orion notices—and internally panics like, What is she blushing over??

Turns out: liquor store. Raven raids it like a queen 💀💀💀.

The group meets up again,later Grayson, Austin and Virin return from a camp store with the holy grail:

✨ SLEEPING BAGS ✨.

but then—

SCREECH.

Orion: "Was that someone's stomach?"

Raven: "No... it was from the vents." 😰

Suddenly—zombies. Not just regular ones.

🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️ Wall-crawling, lizard-style vent zombies.

The mall partially collapses (thankfully), crushing the ones inside. The group escapes laughing like absolute maniacs 🤣🤣🫵.

They stop at a forested area, pulling the van over to the side of the road to rest.

Night falls. The stars are out. And the bond between them? Even stronger.
