Chapter 1412 Updates - Number 6, Lucy
In all honesty, I was more relieved to see that even though Alexander had some kinks to work on, he seemed to be a very "normal" dude—I could easily get along with, like everybody else—even more when Marisha and I escorted him back to his room with a leftover bento.
As weird as it may sound, he was like a dog we took out in the day and sent back to his cage as soon as it was over—but yeah, let's also say that ticking off his well-being and recovery in my box was just a matter of time.
Then I heard a familiar voice calling out to us while we were walking back to the compound:
"Hey! What are you doing with my wife?!"
Marisha and I rolled our eyes as we turned back to see Matthew with Lois, Olivia, and a few others. It seemed like their shift of cleaning up the Manila Bay was over and the other convoy of vehicles driving opposite them had just started theirs.
"Ah— My bad, Mrs. Marisha looks a lot like Kaley—"
"Oi! Don't fucking go there, boy! I was just—"
"Joking? I am too! Don't dish out if you can't take 'em! Boiiii~"
"You—"
Marisha cut in, "Okay, stop, you two. And didn't you drive past their *points at Lois and Olivia* their house?"
"Ah—"
Lois and Olivia nodded a few times in annoyance, "We tried telling him…/Dad just went straight for you, Mom…"
Matthew then realized what he just did and started to back up while waving his wife goodbye, "I f'ed up! My bad— See you back home, wife!"
"Riiight~" Marisha replied while feigning being miffed.
With that said, it didn't take long before I took Marisha back to their house—Matthew catching up soon after, and then me heading back to the compound.
If anything, this would've been the part where I would spend some carnal time with everyone else who attended, but among the things I ticked off my checklist, an update came—which I thought would at least take a good while.
"Here," Quinn said with a solemn expression as she handed me her personal phone, "It's Lucy."
"Who— Oh, Number 6?"
Quinn nodded, "Yeah, they found your little squad lurking around— that archer girl you mentioned and the dude with a deep voice wearing a demon mask—"
"Tracy and Malachi?"
Quinn shrugged her shoulders, "Sure, I'm not good with names—"
"Gimme—"
"Hey! Listen to me first— She's a— Fuck it, just learn the hard way, heh."
At that point, I still couldn't figure out what Quinn meant but as soon as I placed her phone by my ear, I was already painting a picture of what this Lucy looked like in my head. It's just that things went from 0 to 60 in a matter of a few sentences.
"'Sup? This is Sky speaking—"
[Oh, I know~ I heard plenty of stories about you, boy. Gets me real~ hard thinking when I break you open—]
"Woah, woah, woah! Chill, dude— dudette! I was just—"
[HAH! Quinn didn't tell you?! Figures— No matter, shame we can't call on video, huh? We could've compared who's bigger, right? And you know what that means…]
"I— I honestly don't…"
[Fuck… All the better for me then, no one's been on your ass yet—]
"Woah, woah, woah! I said calm the fuck down, the fuck are you on about?! I thought we're suppose to discuss Tracy and Malachi?"
[Psh… You're a buzzkill, ain't ya? I'll let you off the hook, for now— But yeah, I want the same thing as Jesus.]
"Huh?"
[You slow or somethin'? You gave him the Woody's blue paper, right? I want something similar.]
"And~ Why would I do that?"
[Umm~ Because you owe me?]
"How?"
[I mean— If it wasn't for me this edgy group of yours would've been tonight's main attraction! If Quinn didn't tell me of them trying to sneak their way into the Garcia's, they'll be in all types of shit right now while all kinds of shit would be literally in 'em. Catch my drift? So yeah, I want something in return for the thing I did for ya.]
"Huh."
[And since you won't give up ass, for now, I'll take the blue paper for a '45 Power Wagon. It's been a dream of mine to—]
"I have one, actually, like sitting in one of my garages…"
[WHAT?!]
"Technically, Quinn has one and I stole it from her—"
[YOU— QUINN— WHAT?! WHAT THE FUCK?! QUINN— GIVE QUINN THE FUCKING PHONE!]
"But Tracy and Mala—"
[GIVE QUINN THE FUCKING PHONE OR I'LL FILL THEIR FUCKING HOLES TO VENT MY FUCKING— GIVE QUINN THE PHONE!]
At that point, as I was about to hand Quinn her phone back, Quinn was already looking at me like she wanted to say, "I told you so!", and now, she was basking in the ambiance of her being right. And yeah, it was then that I discovered that the Power Wagon I "reclaimed" from Quinn's secret garage near the Manila Bay was supposed to be a surprise present for Lucy's birthday.
It's just that things took a wrong turn—though technically speaking, once the apocalypse happened, everything you take back from your runs was yours, proclaiming the finder's keepers rule.
Still, it was one of the weirdest spots to be in right now because ignoring everything else important, if I don't see a picture of what Lucy looked like, I'm gonna straight up assume that she was a trans woman—all bulked up and shit—compared to June who was technically both genders at the same time.
But yeah, there was still a chance she could be messing with me since all I had right now for her was her slightly deep-ish voice.
Then Quinn gave me back her phone in less than a few exchanges I wasn't able to hear:
"Here, I fixed it for you, kinda…"
"What—"
She chortled, "You deal with her, it's not my problem… for now…"
So yeah, once I placed her phone back on my ear, the person who was numbered opposite of what Jesus' number was supposed to represent came back harder:
[YOU— You owe me twice now, you got me?!]
"How?!" Your next chapter awaits on My Virtual Library Empire
[This group of yours and stealing my fucking Power Wagon! Give it back!]
"Chill, chill, first… I have to disappoint you…"
[Hah?! How—]
"Look, that group you keep saying that belongs to me, that's false. They're a group on their own and we're technically just allies. And secondly, I may have uncovered the Power Wagon who belonged to no one when the apocalypse fucking started but it technically isn't on my name right now—"
[THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!]
"Hah! Don't you know how Finder's Keepers work now? Besides, I can easily draw you a Power Wagon's schematic blueprint and you can literally make one yourself. Isn't it better to make one from scratch compared to fixing something that could have a lot of problems once you open it up?"
[...]
'Works every time for these gearheads… heh.'
"You still there, Lucy?"
[Ugh… I thought— Fine, FINE! You win, you win… You just owe me once, not twice… If I get to top you every time I want when you're here, we'll be even—]
"I'll pass on that— But yeah, I don't owe you anything. Once I give you the '45 Power Wagon's blueprints, we're square. If anything, I can leave them in your hands and do whatever you want from them since they're technically not under me but you decide."
[Heh. I know you value information a lot and by combining theirs with mine, you can achieve what you want. I'm not dumb, I'm just loud.]
"Heh. But I also know how you value building your own dream cars. It's basically me giving you your dream while you're just ticking one off my subquests. You get me?"
[Hah! You mean to say I owe you more?]
"If that's how you got to that idea, why not? And before you bring it up, if I can top you every time I want while I'm there, we'll be even—"
[HAH! You don't know where you're getting into, trust me. I have big ol' dick, ya know?]
"I'll bet my fucking ride that I'm bigger than you— and you still have a hole in the back like me, I'm not dumb but I'm not that loud either—"
[HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! YOU— PFFT— AHAHAHAHA!!! YOU'RE SO— AHAHAHA!!! FUCK IT! I LIKE YOU, YOU FUCK! I'LL LET YOU OFF THE HOOK FOR BEING THAT IMPERTINENT!
MOST GUYS WOULD BE SCARED OF MY THIRD LEG BUT YOU'RE GONNA GO DOWN SWINGIN', HUH?! BET!]
"Bet, bitch. Heh, let's just say my mind has been opened pretty recently and a hole's a hole— as long as I find you attractive, of course."
[You like chicks with big guns and big tits?]
"I'm trying to knock up Quinn every single day."
[That's done, heh. As long as you don't mind my dick, we'll be cool. Here's Tracy, she's been meaning to talk to you after that spiel.]
"Thanks, Lucy, see you soon," I said as I waited for Tracy to pick up the phone from the other side, "'Sup, Trace?"
