Itsuki and Kazumi were in the sitting room of their mansion. It was night. Itsuki was pacing restlessly around the sitting room, like a prowling animal, trepidation clouded his solemn face.

Kazumi was sitting sobbing noisily. There was a deadly sound coming from the mansion. The sound was loud, furious, and an arrow that pierced through the hearts of the couple.

Kazumi's noisy sobs suddenly became irritating to Itsuki. He couldn't take it anymore. He needed time to think. A lot of thoughts were running through his mind.

"Woman, will you pull yourself together and stop that stupid sob!" he snapped. "Is it helping matters at all? And besides, is this our first time encountering such a thing? It's been more than fifteen years now, why then…."

Just then, the door opened, interrupting Itsuki abruptly. Three men came in wearing black suits. They were huge with great physiques. Their serious faces on their huge physiques could make one frightened and little children cry. Their names were Minato, Benkei, and Masaru. They all looked similar, except that Masaru was short and round but had greater muscle than any of them.

"Sir, they are in the van," Masaru announced.

Immediately, Kazumi stopped sobbing. Broad, transient, wistful smiles lightened their brooding faces.

"That's good, that's good," Itsuki replied, his voice covertly triumphant. "Hope the little ones are also there?"

"Yes. We made sure of that," Minato replied.

"Bring them in," Itsuki ordered.

"Yes, sir," they all said in unison.

They went to the black van outside. They opened it. People were tied inside, their hands and mouths bound. They tried screaming but could not. There were three men, five women, and eight children. They were dragged inside. They tried to resist but could not. They tried fighting with their legs also, but they were nothing compared to the might of these men. They cried their eyes out and started pleading with Itsuki and Kazumi, kneeling down.

Itsuki and Kazumi saw them and couldn't help but smile brightly. Kazumi embraced Itsuki and he held her in a warm embrace.

"Take them to Shin," Itsuki ordered.

"Please don't let any of them escape," Kazumi warned them with a chuckle.

The men took them to Shin underground. Shin was in a demon form. His eyes were deep red, he had two horns, and three eyes, the last one on his forehead. His face was very ugly and was nothing like the Shin that visited Ren's family for dinner. He had twenty long claws with numerous long and sharp talons.

He roared in a loud, ugly, demonic voice. The more they came close to where he was, the more he roared; he knew that humans were coming and that was food for him.

When they got to the door of the building where Shin was in the underground, they quickly opened the door and pushed the abductees in and quickly locked it back.

Shin ate them hungrily. He devoured them like one would a spicy chicken. He ate them, enjoying the children more. When he was done, he stood and was breathing heavily. He didn't continue roaring. He had had his fill and he was fine.

The underground was very dark. The place Shin was, ditto. It had blood all over it. The torn clothes of thousands of people were there. And the place had a rotten stench. The underground had so much dust and cobwebs that it would tell it had been there for many years.

The men went back to Itsuki and Kazumi, who were now seated.

"Is it done now?" Itsuki asked.

"Yes, sir," the men replied.

"I like the fact you brought more children because that is what Shin loves. It sustains him and he enjoys it more than the adults." He laughed.

The men laughed also.

"Thank you so much. We are grateful, and so is Shin," Kazumi said, smiling.

"You can now retire to your rooms. It's late," Itsuki said.

"Yes, sir," they said and left.

"I hope the wedding of our son and Ren will take place in a short time," Kazumi said with a hint of sadness in her eyes.

"I still don't know why her parents are delaying. The young woman does not have a choice. She loves our son. If her parents wanted her to get married to our son today, she would agree to it. She would even be happy to," Itsuki said.

"Do you mind withholding the contract with her father, after the wedding then you would go on?"

"That would look suspicious. We already have a good relationship with the family. Ren is engaged to our son. Sooner or later, the wedding will take place. An engaged lady wouldn't go after other men, and no man in his right sense would go after an engaged lady. Tadashi will not allow his daughter to get married to another man. He needs me. I've helped his bankrupt company a lot. When his company went bankrupt, I was the one who reinstated the company, and I know he is most grateful for that. And I still continue helping his company. If I stop, his company will turn to dust. We have been friends since childhood, so those are my little ways of helping him," he said with a flood of pride swelling in his head.

"You can't be so sure. Humans are known for changing and betraying," Kazumi disagreed.

"No, no, no." Itsuki shook his head. "Not this one. I know Tadashi. He never would. He knows what he will benefit from being part of this family.

"I can't just wait for Shin to give us a grandchild. Whatever happens to him, then we already have his child with us because at a point we can't go on with this. All we need is a grandchild. If Ren wants to stay, let her stay, if she doesn't, she should get lost. But she wouldn't make the mistake of leaving with our grandchild."

"Give her time. Let her enjoy her life a little before she comes into the mystery and misery of the Itsuki family."

She laughed. "Just a little time will do."
