Demonic Dragon: Harem System

Chapter 371: Never challenge Rogue. I

Rogue walked with determined steps down the narrow street leading to the imposing gate of the Eclipse Guild. The cold night wind couldn't shake her resolve, and the sight of the grand dark fortress ahead only fueled her growing fury. Her posture was flawless, and her sharpened senses kept her alert, but her focus remained on the goal: making the Eclipse Guild pay for daring to challenge her authority.

As she reached the guild entrance, she was met by two guards who eyed her with suspicion. Her golden eyes shone, and her claws, though kept under control, were visible through the leather gloves she wore.

"We weren't expecting visitors today," one of the guards said, trying to block her path. "Let us check your background, and then... maybe you'll be allowed in."

Rogue didn't look away. Her relaxed body betrayed no hint of the rage burning inside her, but an undeniable aura of command radiated from her. "I'm not here for discussion. I want to speak with the master of the Eclipse Guild, now."

The guard hesitated for a moment, his eyes briefly wavering in the face of her intense presence, but he quickly regained his composure. "The master doesn't see visitors without a formal invitation. You need to leave."

Rogue took a step forward, her stance becoming even more threatening. "If you don't let me in, it'll be much harder for all of you. I won't ask again."

She was about to make her move when two men appeared, malicious smiles on their faces. The first, a tall and muscular man, approached her with a smug grin. The second, shorter and more agile, seemed amused by the situation.

"Hey, kitty. I knew the Osiris Guild was good, but I didn't know you sent such beautiful women to solve problems," said the first man, his deep voice provocative. "Maybe we can help you... relax before anything else."

The second man chuckled softly, his tongue licking his lips. "Yeah, I bet you've got something to offer us before making that request." He gave Rogue a top-to-bottom glance, a daring expression on his face.

Rogue stood her ground, her icy gaze fixed on the two of them. "I don't have time to play with children. I was called to solve a serious problem, and I'm not interested in wasting time with you."

But the two men were undeterred. The first man took a step forward, blocking her way, and the second positioned himself beside him, laughing at the situation. "Don't rush, beautiful. A fun night might be just what you need."

Rogue, however, didn't let their provocation shake her composure. She moved quickly towards the man in front of her, and with a fluid motion, she shoved him with the palm of her hand, sending him crashing against the gate with enough force to make the wood tremble. He fell on his back, surprised, but had no time to react. She then turned her gaze to the second man.

"I don't need you to tell me what to do, let alone give me orders," she said in a low, cold voice, but one laced with an implied threat.

The second man, still laughing, didn't seem to believe what had just happened. "You... have guts. But you won't get rid of us that easily."

Rogue smiled dangerously, her eyes gleaming with a wild edge. "I'm not like the other women you know. Never forget that."

With a swift move, she took a step toward the man and, with a single strike, knocked him to the ground. She didn't use excessive force, but her precision and technique were flawless. He was dazed, unable to react, while the other man was still struggling to rise.

"Now, you're going to let me pass. Or I'll make sure you never raise a hand against anyone again," Rogue said in a calm but lethal tone.

The two men, now visibly stunned and humiliated, were unwilling to let Rogue ignore them so easily. The first, the taller and stronger man, finally managed to get up. His gaze was filled with rage as he prepared to attack. He advanced toward Rogue with a clenched fist, determined to show who was in control, despite the initial blow he had taken.

"You're going to regret this, bitch!" he yelled, his voice echoing through the air. He lunged at her with a brutal punch, aiming directly at Rogue's face.

But she was far from caught off guard. Her reflexes, as fast as a predator on the hunt, allowed her to easily dodge. She veered to the side, and the man's punch narrowly missed her. Without wasting a moment, she used the momentum of her dodge to quickly spin and deliver an elbow to his ribs, sending him staggering back with a heavy thud. He stumbled backward, falling to his knees, feeling the pain in his side.

The second man, still on the ground, sprang up in a leap, furious. He wasn't going to let her get away unscathed. With a shout, he made a more aggressive move, drawing a small knife and closing in on her, intent on attacking swiftly.

Rogue, recognizing the move, stepped back, already calculating her next move. With a sardonic smile, she shook her head, dismissing the attempt. "You really think you're going to hurt me with that?"

She crouched low, avoiding the blade that came toward her, and with the agility of a cheetah, she shifted to the side. Before the man could react, she grabbed his arm that held the knife, twisting it relentlessly. The blade clattered to the ground with a metallic sound, and with a quick, precise movement, she landed a punch to his stomach, knocking him down once again, effortlessly.

"You'll learn that here, I'm the one in charge," Rogue said coldly, her golden eyes gleaming as she looked at the two men, now sprawled on the ground, too weak to continue fighting.

The first man, still struggling to rise, glared at her with hate in his eyes. "You think you can walk in here and leave unpunished? We won't stop until you regret this."

Rogue took a deep breath, her expression unshaken. She was impatient, but also somewhat amused by the sight of them trying to retaliate. "I already told you, I don't want to waste time with you. But if you insist..."
