Demonic Dragon: Harem System

Chapter 374: We're back home

Strax, Tiamat and Ouroboros were transformed into imposing dragons, their scales glistening under the sun, reflecting a spectacle of vibrant colors as they flew over the vast lands below.

The wind cut fiercely through their huge wings, while their tails moved gracefully, adapting to the flow of the air. The women were on their backs, with expressions of alertness and anticipation, ready for whatever was to come.

Beatrice, Monica, Cristine and Samira looked around, amazed at the strength and grandeur of the creatures carrying them, but also uneasy about the situation, after all... it was a bit terrifying flying at the speed they were without protection.

Beatrice, ever curious, was the first to break the silence, staring at Strax with fixed eyes. "What about Scarlet and her Daughters? Are they coming? I thought they were all together, but so far, nothing from them..." His voice was filled with a growing doubt, anxiety evident in his tone.

Samira, who was standing next to Beatrice, looked at the horizon, her eyes searching for any sign of Scarlet's presence or any of the vampires. "Yes, I thought they were following us too. What's taking them so long?"

Strax, flying ahead, turned back to look directly at them, his gaze determined and coolly calm. "They'll be here soon. What we have to do now is make sure that the Empire and the Vorah Ducat don't become a battlefield. What's happening there is more important right now. As for them... Scarlet has gone to talk to the Vampire King, he should be here soon"

Tiamat, the golden scaled dragon, who was flying alongside Strax, looked back, her eyes shining with an enigmatic expression. "They need to get away from the Vampires to meddle, otherwise it wouldn't be a war between the Vorah and the Empire, but the Human Empire vs the Vampire Empire, and the humans would be destroyed completely. We don't need to worry about that now. Let's concentrate on what's in front of us."

Ouroboros, who was flying alongside Tiamat, had a focused look on his face. "Yes, the situation on Vorah is intensifying. If the Emperor is losing control, we need to understand what's really going on before we take any action."

Cristine, who was sitting firmly on Ouroboros' rump, shook her head with slight concern, but her voice was firm. "And after Vorah? What will we do then? The Empire is in ruins, and we don't know what else is hidden there."

Strax kept his eyes fixed ahead, his countenance unwavering. "After Vorah, depending on what we discover, we'll need to act quickly. The Empire needs to be stopped before the destruction is total. I know you all have issues to resolve, but for now, we need to focus on the mission at hand. The priority is to investigate what's going on"

Samira, sitting on Tiamat's back, frowned at the mention of Vorah's Ducato. "But what exactly is going on there? The Emperor is acting strangely, and this can't be a coincidence. Things are much more complicated than we imagined."

Strax stared at her for a moment, then turned his attention to the horizon, where the mountains of Vorah loomed, imposing and mysterious. "I don't have all the answers either. But the Emperor is no longer in control of the Empire, I have a feeling that someone has taken over from the shadows, and that means something much bigger is at stake. I hate to admit it, but my father may have some idea why..."

The wind cut through the air around them as the three dragons moved with impressive speed, the sun beginning to set in the background, dyeing the sky golden and red. The sound of the wind mingled with the distant roar of the dragons, a song of approaching battle.

Beatrice looked at Strax again, her words laden with a growing determination. "Then let's go soon, before it's too late. Let's sort all this out so we can relax, I want 'it'" she commented.

"Stop thinking about whoring!" Monica slapped her hand away. "HEY!!!" Beatrice protested, but remembered that Monica was her mother... "Gee... I miss my husband, you know?" she muttered nervously.

Strax smiled, but his eyes burned with a fierce intensity. "We'll enjoy it later. But let's focus now on what we have to do."

The sky slowly darkened as the group advanced towards Vorah, the shadows of the mountains stretching out as the terrain in front of them became increasingly dense and mysterious. Everyone's fate was about to become entwined in a web of intrigue, revelations and confrontations that would change the course of history.

[A few moments later...]

The sky was still tinged with red and orange as Strax, Tiamat and Ouroboros approached the vast borders of the Duchy of Vorah. The wind was strong, but Strax, in his colossal dragon form, was advancing with a determination that made the earth seem to tremble with every beat of his powerful wings. Beatrice, Monica, Cristine and Samira were firmly strapped to the dragons' backs, watching the scenery as they approached the city that had been Strax's birthplace.

When they were a few kilometers from the main gate, a sudden bang cut through the air, and thousands of black arrows shot out of the Ducato's defense towers like a deadly rain. They flew at high speed towards Strax and his companions with alarming precision, but when they hit Strax's immense dragon form, they shattered, falling to the ground like pieces of broken wood. The arrows bounced off Strax's scales without causing any visible damage, making a hollow sound as if they were hitting an impenetrable wall of iron.

Tiamat and Ouroboros, who were flying along with Strax, remained silent, recognizing the strength of the Ducato's reaction, but not interfering. They knew that Strax was in control of the situation, as always.

Strax, however, didn't seem to mind. His imposing gaze roamed the walls of the Vorah Ducat, as if to defy any attempt at resistance. He had lived too long to be impressed by such weak attacks. Its golden eyes shone with intensity, and it made a slight movement with its huge paws, as if preparing to make an impactful landing.

With a loud beat of his wings, he began to descend towards the ground, the pressure of his flight causing the wind to whistle fiercely around him. The sound of Strax's descent made the knights and archers on the ground instinctively retreat, fearing the impact. The whole city seemed to tremble under his power.

When he finally landed with a thud, the ground shook. Strax's red scales glistened in the light of the setting sun, and his colossal figure rose before the men and women of the Ducato. The impact of his paws on the ground made the sound echo like thunder, and dust rose around him.

The knights and archers, who until that moment had been ready to fire more arrows, stopped abruptly, surprised and stunned at the sight of the huge creature. They were used to war dragons, but something about this creature seemed different. Strax's presence was unmistakable, but his dragon form confused them.

Strax, without wasting any time, returned to his human form with an agile and majestic movement, his scales gleaming for a moment before disappearing, giving way to the man who still carried the fury and authority of a leader in his eyes. He was now standing with his feet firmly planted on the ground, looking out at the riders and soldiers of the Ducato. The strong wind that had accompanied him had calmed down, leaving only the sound of Strax's heavy breathing.

Beatrice, Monica, Cristine and Samira descended nimbly from the dragons' backs, letting them fly over the area while they observed the scene with a certain curiosity. They already knew that Strax had noble blood, but the scene was still impressive.

The knights who were positioned around them looked at each other, incredulous and visibly nervous. They had just fired their arrows at... the prince. Or rather, someone who looked like him. But Strax was no longer a simple prince; his current appearance seemed almost alien compared to the figure of the Ducato heir they remembered.

The captain of the knights, an aged-looking man with a serious face, looked at Strax with wide eyes. "You..." He stammered, not knowing what else to say. He immediately got off his horse, with the other riders doing the same. They were terrified, not knowing whether to kneel or attack, but the fear was palpable.

Strax watched each of them, and his voice cut through the air with the same coldness as the blade of a sword. "You tried to attack me. You didn't know who I was, but that doesn't change the fact that you tried to kill me." His golden eyes flashed with unmistakable ferocity. "Now, what will you do about it?"

The captain looked at him, gasping for breath, and then knelt down with an expression of guilt and fear. "I'm sorry, Sir... we didn't know it was you. The orders... the orders were to repel any threat approaching the city."

"You didn't know it was me?" Strax asked, his voice low, almost hissing. His aura rose but... "HAHAHA it's okay" Strax replied, "We're back home, so let my dad know I'm back." Strax says
