Depraved Noble: Forced To Live The Debaucherous Life Of An Evil Noble!

Chapter 265: Just What Did You Do To My Sister?!

Cassius guided the horse to a stop near the campsite, his lips twitching with amusement as he caught Skadi's outburst. Sensing the brewing storm, he averted his gaze, his expression carefully neutral as if he had no part in the drama unfolding.

Aisha, however, leaned back against him, her heart swelling with confidence as she flashed a hearty, almost smug smile. Her eyes gleamed with a playful arrogance as Skadi charged toward them, her tail flicking beneath her shirt as she looked down at the fuming girl.

Skadi skidded to a halt beside the horse, her voice bursting out in a flurry of complaints as she jabbed a finger at Aisha.

"What are you doing, Aisha? What's all this about, huh? Why're you all snuggled up with Master like that?"

Her ears flattened, her heart stinging with jealousy as she stomped her foot.

"You hated him! You were always yelling at him, calling him a playboy, saying you'd never get close to him! And now you're...you're practically glued to him!"

"...What's your game, huh? Are you trying to steal him from me? That's not fair!"

Seeing Skadi shouting at her from below, Aisha's smile widened, her voice dripping with pride as she tilted her head, looking down at Skadi like a queen surveying a peasant.

"Well, well, looks like a little puppy's wandered over, barking up a storm." She said, her tone teasing as she glanced at Cassius. "She's seems awfully hungry for attention, isn't she? Cassius, got a biscuit or some jerky I can toss her? Gotta do something for a pitiful pup who doesn't know her way around."

Her eyes sparkled with mischief, her heart delighting in Skadi's flustered reaction as she leaned further into Cassius, asserting her place.

Cassius himself kept his gaze averted, his lips pressed into a thin line as he stifled a laugh, clearly wanting no part in the escalating spat.

Seeing Aisha blatantly mock her, Skadi's face reddened, her voice rising to a furious pitch as she grabbed at Aisha's leg, tugging lightly.

"Don't you ignore me, Aisha! Answer me!" She demanded, her tail thrashing as her heart burned with frustration. "What's going on? Why're you so close to Master? You two were never like this before! What's the big deal? Tell me right now, or I'm gonna keep pulling till you fall off that horse!"

Aisha's laugh was light and casual, her voice carrying a smug edge as she shrugged, her eyes glinting with confidence.

"Oh, Skadi, relax. It's really not a big deal." She said, her tone breezy as she leaned back against Cassius, her body relaxed against his chest. "Sure, I said me and Cassius would never get along. I mean, I did think he was an annoying playboy for the longest time."

"But, you know, on this trip, we had a little chat. Learned a few things about each other. Turns out, we're not so different. We've got some...similar goals."

Her voice trailed off, her heart skipping as she avoided saying the full truth that the common goal she was talking about was wanting to be together with one another.

"So, yeah, we got a bit closer...No need to make a fuss about it."

Skadis jaw dropped, her voice erupting in an exasperated cry as she threw her hands up.

"A bit closer? Not a big deal? What are you even talking about, Aisha?" She pointed at them, her eyes wide with disbelief. "You're practically sitting in his lap! You're leaning on Master like he's your personal pillow, and he's just...letting you! You two look like a couple, all cozy and stuff! What's that about? You can't just act like this is normal!"

Her heart ached, her tail drooping as she glared at Aisha, her jealousy flaring.

Aisha's smile turned even smug, her voice casual as she shrugged again, her head tilting back to rest against Cassius's shoulder.

"What's it to you, Skadi? I'm just tired from riding all day, and Cassius was nice enough to let me lean on him." She said, her tone deliberately nonchalant as she pressed closer to him, her heart thrilling at her own boldness. "It's just what companions do, you know? Help each other out. Nothing more to it."

Her eyes flickered with amusement, her body shifting to emphasize her dominance, as if daring Skadi to challenge her further.

Skadi's face flushed with fury, her voice rising to a near, shriek as she stomped her foot again.

"Companions? Companions? You're not fooling anyone, Aisha!" She cried, her heart pounding with indignation. "You're all over Master like you own him! That's not how 'companions' act! You're trying to steal him, aren't you?"

"...I knew it! You're using your sneaky cat tricks to take him away from me!" Her hands balled into fists, her tail thrashing as she leaned closer, her eyes blazing with accusation.

Cassius sighed, his voice a low murmur as he gently nudged Aisha forward, his hands steady on her waist.

"Alright, let's not start a brawl before we even get to camp."

He said, his tone calm but tinged with amusement as he swung off the horse, landing lightly on the ground. He then glanced at Skadi, his lips twitching as he tried to diffuse the tension.

"Easy, puppy. Nobody's stealing anybody. Let's all just...take a breath, okay?"

His heart raced with quiet delight at the chaos, but he kept his expression neutral, clearly hoping to slip away from the brewing fight.

Aisha, however, wasn't ready to let him escape. Her voice turned pouty, her lips pursing as she called after him, her tone almost whiny.

"Cassius! Where do you think you're going?"

She huffed, her heart stinging with playful indignation as she stretched her arms out, her eyes wide and pitiful.

"You can't just leave me up here! I'm tired, okay? Help me off this horse!"

Her voice softened, her gaze turning coy as she added.

"I'll be all sad and abandoned if you don't. Come on, be a good...companion."

Her lips twitched, her heart fluttering as she played up her act, knowing it would rile Skadi further.

"Are you serious?!" Skadi's eyes widened, her voice bursting out in disbelief as she pointed at Aisha, her tail flicking wildly. "You can get off that horse yourself, Aisha! You're not a baby!"

She snapped, her heart burning with frustration as she glared between them.

"Why's Master gotta help you? You're just milking this, trying to act all cute and needy! That's not fair!" Her hands waved, her voice rising as she turned to Cassius. "Master, don't fall for it! She's just trying to hog you!"

Aisha's smile widened, her voice dripping with mock innocence as she looked down at Skadi, her eyes glinting with amusement.

"What's it to you, huh? I'm tired, and Cassius is right here. Why shouldn't he help me?" She said, her tone teasing as she leaned forward, her arms still outstretched toward Cassius. "It's not your business, Skadi. Stop butting in."

"...Now, Cassius, come on, help. me down. I'm gonna feel all lonely up here if you don't." Her voice turned pleading, her eyes wide and pitiful, her heart thrilling at the chance to push Skadi's buttons.

Julie who had also come forward to join the fun, rubbed her eyes again, her heart reeling as she watched her sister's behavior, her mind unable to process the sight of Aisha acting so needy while Cassius simply sighed again, his voice reluctant as he stepped back toward the horse, his heart resigned.

"Fine, Aisha, fine."

He said, his tone soft but exasperated as he reached up, grabbing her gently by the armpits. He then lifted her with ease, placing her on the ground with a careful touch, his hands steadying her briefly.

Aisha landed lightly, her smile kind and warm as she looked up at him, her voice soft with gratitude.

"Good job, Cassius. Thank you."

She said, her tone sincere as she brushed a hand against his arm. She then tip-toed to get closer to his ears, her voice dropping to a whisper as she murmured in his ear.

"And you know, you're doing great at this husband thing, you know...You really didn't lie when you said you knew how to make your wives happy."

Her eyes sparkled with mischief, her heart buzzing with delight as she pulled back, her smile smug as she turned to walk toward the campfire.

"Hey! What was that!?" Skadi's eyes widened, her voice erupting in a frantic yelp as she chased after Aisha, her tail thrashing. "What did you whisper to Master?"

She demanded, grabbing at Aisha's arm as she followed her like a puppy.

"You better not be putting some sneaky spell on him to make him fall for you! I saw that, Aisha!..Tell me what you said, or I'm gonna keep bugging you all night!"

Her heart ached with jealousy, her eyes wide as she trailed after Aisha, who ignored her with a casual wave, sauntering toward the tents with a confident stride.

"Oh, relax, Skadi. It was nothing, just a little thank, you for helping me down." She said, her tone light as she tossed her hair. "And you're so worked up, you're gonna trip over your own tail. So, do yourself a favour and sit by the fire and calm down before you hurt yourself."

Her heart swelled with amusement, her steps unhurried as Skadi continued to chase her, yapping insistently.

Cassius, watching the two bicker, let out a quiet sigh of relief, his shoulders relaxing as he thought he'd escaped the drama.

He started to step away, his heart craving a moment of peace, but Julie's piercing stare stopped him cold. Her mouth hung open, her eyes wide with disbelief as she pointed at him, her heart reeling from the impossible scene.

"Cassius, hold it right there." Julie said, her voice sharp as she stepped closer, her tone trembling with confusion. "What the hell is going on? You and Aisha, how did this happen?"

"She's my little sister, the one who'd rather fight a dragon than let a guy get close to her!" Her hands gestured wildly, her voice rising as she rubbed her eyes again. "And now she's...what, cuddling up to you, acting all sweet and needy? This can't be real. Tell me it's a lie. What happened out there on that horse?"

Cassius rubbed the back of his head, his voice a sheepish chuckle as he tried to deflect, his heart racing under her scrutiny.

"Julie, come on, don't look at me like that." He said, his tone light as he reached out, gently nudging her chin to close her mouth. "You're gonna catch a mosquito if you keep gaping like that. It's not a big deal, really."

"Aisha and I just...talked. Got to know each other a bit. Turns out, we're not as different as we thought...We found some common ground, started getting along. That's all." His smile was casual, his eyes glinting with a hint of mischief.

Julie's eyes narrowed, her voice stammering as she took a step closer, her heart stinging with disbelief.

"Talked? Common ground? Cassius, she's my little sister! She's never let any guy get close to her, ever!" She exclaimed, her hands clenching as she pointed at him.

"She's supposed to be yelling at you, not...not draped all over you like you're her knight in shining armor! How did you pull this off? What did you do to her out there?" Her voice cracked, her eyes searching his face for answers.

Cassius's smile turned smug, his voice dropping to a playful drawl as he leaned closer, his heart amused by her reaction.

"Julie, come on. Aisha's fierce, sure, but she's still a girl, you know?..A girl with a heart, just like anyone else."

He shrugged, his tone casual but confident.

"And I'm pretty sure, you've heard the rumors about me, haven't you? I'm pretty good at...stealing hearts as one would say. Aisha's no exception."

"Took a bit more effort than usual, I'll admit, she's a tough one...But at the end of the day, it wasn't that hard to get her to warm up to me." His eyes sparkled, his heart delighting in the chance to tease her.

Julie's jaw dropped again, her voice erupting in a flustered protest as she pointed at him.

"C-Charming the ladies? Cassius, this is Aisha we're talking about! My prickly, stubborn, man-hating little sister!"

She cried, her heart reeling as she shook her head.

"There's no way she Just...fell for you like that. Not in one night! What kind of magic did you pull out there? Tell me the truth, or I swear I'll—" Her words faltered, her hands waving as she struggled to process the impossible.

Cassius laughed, his voice warm as he stepped back, his hands raised in mock surrender.

"No magic, Julie, I promise. Just a good talk and a little charm." He said, his tone teasing as he turned to walk toward the campfire. "You'll get used to it soon. Your sister's still Aisha, just a little softer around the edges now."

His smile widened, his heart light as he left Julie standing there, her mouth still open, her mind spinning as she watched him saunter away, baffled by the sudden shift in her sister's world...
