DESTINY GAMES

Chapter 139: The Green Haired Man.

There was an odd message among the cluster of useless messages that interested him. It was a message from a slave asking for him to save them. They spoke at length about their situation and the reward they would give him if he saved them.

He shook his head and said, "Humans make for bad slaves. They just aren't resigned to their situations. Imagine the kind of trouble they will bring if they send this to heroes."

Then he frowned after thinking about the fact that someone sent him, whose identity as a villain is clear as day, for them to save him. They are offering a large reward, which is a reasonable motivator for him to save them, but he was still suspicious.

He touched his chin as he said, "I bet this is a trap for me."

He is not being narcissistic. Tempting a target with money is a common tactic to get a competitor. It is something that has happened many times before. There are many such stories about it online.

Considering that he just read a lot of hate messages, it didn't seem farfetched to suspect that the message was a trap.

Even if the message was real, he is not going to do something as stupid as linking his identity in the Tower of Destiny with an identity in real life. That's just asking for trouble. Your next chapter awaits on empire

He finished going through the message and swiped it aside. This caused it to collapse back into a bubble and fall onto the stack of bubbles he had opened. Meanwhile, the unopened messages were still floating about.

This is the main difference between messages he had read and those he had yet to read. Messages he had read were unmoving and in a pyramid pile. He could create a shelf to put them in, but they wouldn't float around like the messages he hadn't opened.

He went through the remaining messages quickly. He was yawning as it did it. Even the messages from fans didn't interest him. Only the ones asking to meet him in real life for whatever reason made him chuckle.

Eventually he said, "I don't know why I bothered to read these messages if I am not going to respond to them."

"Actually, I did have a reason for opening them. But now I know that my curiosity wasn't worth it."

He sighed and left the tower of destiny. He saw Wrath immediately he came to, which brought to his mind the fact that she was the only one he could share his problems with.

She was the only one he could tell about his indecision about crippling his potential and hiding himself. She would be able to understand his problems better than anyone and might be able to offer reliable advice.

But he didn't tell her about his problems. That would require them to talk and also imply that he needs her. Those are things he doesn't want to do.

Instead, he completed the final steps of his plan by doing some more research. Then he chose a day to execute his plan and went through with it.

While he was putting the finishing touches into his plan, he was distracted by a video that had become popular online. He was curious about it, so he decided to see what was so interesting about it.

His face became solemn immediately he opened the video. The video was an animation but it made him take it seriously because it showed a man who had the body of a broken doll. The man's flesh was soft and smooth, like ceramics. But it was broken in many places.

He could also see through the holes in the man's body. He saw a golden light within their body. This light was shining through the cracks and holes all over their body.

The man was wearing nothing. He was completely baked from head to toe. So he could see that they didn't have any genitals. It was smooth between their legs.

He didn't find that odd because he could tell the identity of the man from what he had seen so far. He knew them to be demigods, and Wrath had already told him that demigods could remove their genitals if they wished.

What he found odd and also caused his heart to almost leap out of his chest was the fact that their eyes and hair were green. Wrath had mentioned so much about the demigod with green glowing eyes and green fire for hair.

His suspicions were confirmed as soon as the man spoke. He said, "I am Manhattan, and this is a message for the paragon. I have been waiting for the opportunity to speak to you for quite some time now but I don't know your identity in the Destiny Games."

"It is good to hide your identity. There are many people looking for you for reasons other than to send messages like I was trying to do. Anyway, I couldn't find you, so I decided to use this system to communicate with you."

"My message is simple. It is a message of a truce between you and me and some others I won't mention now. We won't try to kill you for your power anymore. We have also decided to help you if you can take back what the Patriarch possesses."

"That is our condition for corperation. If you can't do that, then you are not worthy of our help. Be that as it may, you are running out of time. This is why a group of us decided to set aside our defenses and work together. We are not doing it because we like you."

"Once you become a god and take your rightful choice, we will come for your head then. I am sure that you would be strong, but I believe that I will be stronger."

"I hope this message reaches you well, and I hope that we can work together to establish our pantheon as soon as possible. Extend my greetings to Wrath. Farewell."
