Devil Fruit Seal in Naruto

Chapter 27: Chapter 26 : Jashin Cult!!

The warmth of the hot spring was just too comfortable.

Kurenai Yuhi felt her whole body relax completely—soft and lazy, on the verge of dozing off.

Just as she was about to fall asleep, a thought suddenly struck her: Inori had been gone for quite a while. Why wasn't she back yet?

Could she have run into some hot spring pervert?

Kurenai shot upright in an instant.

The Land of Hot Water was famous for its baths. She'd heard rumors that plenty of lecherous men came here pretending to "gather inspiration" while actually sneaking peeks.

Even though they had chosen a highly secure private bath this time, there was no guarantee some lust-blinded fool wouldn't try their luck.

And Inori… she was such a beautiful girl.

Not even twenty, and already her figure was developing beyond a C-cup.

The shape, the skin tone—everything was near perfect.

Even Kurenai, who had only glanced by accident earlier, couldn't help feeling a little tempted.

The more she thought about it, the more anxious she became.

She grabbed a towel and quickly wrapped it around her body, stepped out of the water barefoot—didn't even bother with her slippers.

Just as she was about to push open the main door to go outside—

She suddenly paused, her gaze turning toward the small side door nearby.

The two bath areas they chose were deliberately connected by this small door, which led straight into Uchiha Raizen's private bath.

Could Inori have gone to see Raizen?

Kurenai's heart skipped a beat.

After a brief moment of hesitation, she gently pushed the door open just enough to peek through the gap.

Through the thin opening, her eyes landed on the opposite pool, where the water steamed thickly.

Two figures were tightly embracing in the mist.

There was no doubt—it was Inori and Raizen.

Kurenai couldn't help but chuckle softly to herself.

Ah, young people—so full of passion. They never want to let go once they start.

After sighing softly to herself, Kurenai Yuhi was just about to quietly close the door and head back when something in the corner of her eye caught her attention.

Something about the way Raizen-kun and Inori were hugging didn't seem quite right.

Raizen-kun was standing.

Inori, on the other hand, was clinging to him like a little koala, her smooth legs wrapped tightly around his waist.

At first, Kurenai thought they were just kissing.

But when she looked more closely, she realized—yes, they were kissing, but definitely not on the lips.

Raizen-kun had pulled down the towel wrapped around Inori's upper body, and his face was buried… in that place!

And Inori wasn't stopping him at all. Her fingers were tangled in his hair, gently moving.

Kurenai nearly passed out.

Her face flushed red, ears burning, she slammed the door shut with a loud bang, steam practically pouring from her head.

She stomped her foot.

That bold little girl! How could Inori be so daring? They weren't even married yet!

The loud sound of the door jolted Uchiha Raizen and Inori back to their senses.

Inori gasped, "Oh no! I told Miss Kurenai I was going to the bathroom—she must've come looking for me because she was worried!"

She quickly jumped down from Raizen's body and pulled the towel back over her chest.

Still unsatisfied, Uchiha Raizen clicked his tongue and said, "You'd better get going."

"Mm." Inori nodded and said before leaving, "I'll come up with an excuse to tell Miss Kurenai and Mr. Asuma. I'll say we're staying a few more days before returning to the village."

Watching Inori leave, Uchiha Raizen still lingered on the sensation left on his fingertips and lips.

That feeling was sweeter and more satisfying than any delicacy he had ever tasted.

As for Inori's last words, they came after Raizen told her that he had to make a trip to the Land of Water to meet up with his sister.

Inori, who already saw Uchiha Hikari as her own big sister, naturally insisted on going too. That was why she needed to find an excuse not to return to Konoha just yet.

"Miss Kurenai, I'm back!"

Inori cheerfully jumped into the hot spring she shared with Yūhi Kurenai.

Kurenai gave her a sharp look and scolded playfully:

"You're way too bold. Even if you're dating, you're still not married. A girl should know how to be a little reserved—yet you just threw yourself at him."

Inori didn't seem to mind at all.

"If I didn't take the initiative, I never would've gotten Raizen-kun in the first place. You don't know, Miss Kurenai, but I've liked him since we were in the Ninja Academy. Back then, he completely ignored me."

Kurenai's mouth fell open in surprise.

Someone as pretty and adorable as Inori had actually been rejected?

"Even though Raizen-kun likes me now, I can't afford to let my guard down," Inori said with a determined look, clenching her little fists. "I won't just win his heart—I'll win his body too!"

Such a bold and progressive view on love completely stunned Kurenai Yuhi.

In Kurenai's old-fashioned mindset, it was natural for a man to take the initiative in love—working hard to show his sincerity—while a woman should be reserved and ladylike, only accepting his affection once his genuine feelings had been proven over time.

That's why, over the years, even though she had many admirers—including her childhood friend Asuma, who had pursued her persistently—she had always remained cautious.

She believed she still needed to observe them for a few more years.

She had no intention of giving herself away so easily.

"You really…" Kurenai didn't know how to respond to Inori's view on love. All she could say was, "I have a feeling Raizen-kun is going to completely devour you sooner or later."

Inori's face lit up with longing. "Then I hope that day doesn't take too long to come."

Kurenai fainted on the spot.

Bath time was over.

On the way back to the inn, Uchiha Raizen and Kurenai occasionally made eye contact, both feeling a little awkward—after all, she had seen that scene.

Evening came.

Uchiha Raizen left the inn once again. This time, he was alone.

He had changed into ordinary travel clothes and wasn't wearing his Konoha forehead protector.

He walked straight out of the capital of the Land of Hot Water and headed for the outskirts.

In his hand was a map he had just bought.

"This should be the place... The infamous maniac whose name makes even three-year-olds in the Land of Hot Water stop crying."

Uchiha Raizen glanced around the area.

He had barely walked a few steps—

A stylish young man with gray slicked-back hair and a fur coat suddenly jumped out from the roadside.

"Hey, young man, want to join the Jashin Cult?"

The trendy guy held a large red scythe in his hand, and a strong smell of blood could be sensed from afar. He definitely didn't look like someone inviting others to join a cult.

But this was exactly how the Jashin Cult recruited.

Uchiha Raizen looked at the man before him with interest.

Yes, he came out specifically to find Hidan.

When he met Kakuzu, he remembered that at this time, Hidan had not yet joined the Akatsuki.

Also, Hidan seemed to come from the Hidden Hot Water Village in the Land of Hot Water.

Based on memories from his previous life, Uchiha Raizen took out a map and came to this suburban area.

At first, he was just trying his luck, but unexpectedly, Hidan really was here.

Looking at the excited and fanatic guy opposite him, hmm, this was definitely Hidan — the dumb member of Akatsuki, no doubt.

Hidan was completely unaware that he was actually the fish being baited. He was still wildly preaching:

"Joining the Jashin Cult has many benefits. Even if you kill someone, you won't be punished. Not only that, Jashin-sama will be even happier. So, how about it? Sounds good, right? Want to join?"

Uchiha Raizen crossed his arms and watched Hidan's performance.

Seeing this, Hidan sighed disappointedly, but then became even more excited and licked his lips:

"Well then, since you don't want to join, I'll just take you as a prayer offering to the Jashin-sama. Yehahaha! That will be the greatest honor of your life!"

Hidan swung his large scythe wildly, shouting at Uchiha Raizen as he attacked.

Raizen didn't move at all.

Only when the scythe was just a few centimeters from his neck did he slowly speak:

"Who said I wouldn't join the Jashin Cult? At least let a person finish speaking, you fool."

"Huh?!"

Hidan suddenly stopped and blinked in confusion.

Raizen pushed the scythe aside and walked up to Hidan.

"Let's go, preacher. Take me to the Jashin Cult's headquarters."
