Devil Fruit Seal in Naruto

Chapter 29: Chapter 28 : Five-Direction Dragon Binding Curse Seal!!

"What… what is this thing?" Hidan's eyes showed fear, and his words came out with difficulty.

"A cursed seal," Uchiha Raizen kindly explained, "It's a new type of binding curse seal I developed. Not bad, right?"

Uchiha Raizen spent a full five years dedicating himself completely to scientific research.

At the same time as he developed the Devil Fruit Curse Mark technology, he also mastered the art of Curse Mark techniques itself.

No one in this world understood Curse Marks better than him — including Orochimaru. He was confident about that.

It wasn't that Orochimaru's research skills were worse than Uchiha Raizen's.

The main reason was Orochimaru studied many different things, not just Curse Marks.

He also got distracted researching Reanimation techniques and various other forbidden jutsus.

In contrast, once Uchiha Raizen chose his research focus, he concentrated solely on mastering Curse Marks.

The amount of effort both put into Curse Mark research was very different, so naturally their expertise was too.

Curse Marks cover a wide range of types, like the Hyuga clan's Caged Bird technique, the Root organization's Tongue Curse eradication technique, and Uchiha Madara's sealed tag on Obito's heart.

Uchiha Raizen combined all these methods together and created a more advanced binding Curse Mark, called the Five-Direction Dragon Binding Curse Mark.

This Curse Mark must be activated by fusing his chakra with the power of the Azure Dragon.

This means only Uchiha Raizen in the world can use the Five-Direction Dragon Binding Curse Mark.

Also,

To successfully implant this Curse Mark, three conditions must be met.

First, the Curse Mark must be placed on a vital spot on the subject's neck.

Second, during the implantation process, the subject cannot resist with their own chakra.

Otherwise, the Curse Mark's power will go out of control and cause the subject's body to explode.

Third, five Curse Marks must be implanted simultaneously. The five marks represent the five directions of heaven and earth, gathering to trap the dragon's power, forming the Curse Mark's rune.

Although these conditions are strict, once successful, the benefits are endless.

The victim who was sealed with the Five-Direction Dragon Binding Curse.

Uchiha Raizen could make them suffer like the Hyuga branch family—unable to live, unable to die; like the Root organization members—unable to say what Uchiha Raizen didn't want them to say; like Obito—unable to remove the curse seal by themselves.

This was an all-around control, even bordering on slavery!

Since developing this curse seal technique, Uchiha Raizen had never used it before.

Because the danger of this technique was too great; one careless move could kill.

Hidan was lucky to become the first user of this technique.

The reason for success was clear—first, Hidan couldn't die, so even if his body exploded, it didn't matter. Second, he had been too arrogant earlier and never planned to resist with chakra.

So, Uchiha Raizen easily sealed Hidan with the Five-Direction Dragon Binding Curse.

A faint smile appeared at the corner of his mouth—this kid Hidan was just too honest.

Well then, let him play around.

Uchiha Raizen snapped his fingers.

The curse seal patterns on Hidan's body immediately shrank back into the five magatama marks on his neck.

Hidan realized he could move again, and immediately shouted angrily,

"What the hell did you do to me?"

Uchiha Raizen didn't answer, just formed a hand seal with two fingers.

Hidan's voice suddenly stopped.

Then he grabbed his head, rolling on the ground, screaming in pain.

"It hurts, it hurts so much, I feel like my head is going to explode!"

Bang bang bang!

He slammed his head on the ground, cracking his skull.

Hidan, who cannot die, actually felt a strange pleasure from pain. He enjoyed the feeling of his heart being pierced.

But now, his screams of pain showed that this pain was beyond what he could bear.

Uchiha Raizen loosened his grip.

Hidan's screams slowly stopped. He knelt on the ground, gasping for breath, his head covered in blood.

In the next moment,

He suddenly raised his head. His blood-red eyes looked like they wanted to devour someone.

He showed his teeth, as if he wanted to bite Uchiha Raizen to death.

But then, he collapsed again, twitching on the ground. The word "bastard" stuck in his throat and he couldn't say it.

It turned out, Uchiha Raizen had set a program inside the Five-Direction Dragon Binding Curse Seal so that Hidan couldn't insult him or attack him, or else his whole body would go numb and start convulsing.

Seeing that it worked well, he nodded slightly.

"Do you know why this is happening?" Uchiha Raizen asked calmly.

"It's all your fault. You left those things on my neck!" Hidan lay in the muddy water, looking at Uchiha Raizen with hatred.

"Looks like you're not hopelessly stupid yet." Uchiha Raizen took out a kunai and threw it to Hidan.

"You can try cutting your own neck to remove the curse seal symbols. Anyway, you won't die."

Hidan was stunned for a moment, then actually picked up the kunai and stabbed it into his own neck.

But halfway through, his hand froze and couldn't move anymore.

Desperate, he threw away the kunai, feeling hopeless.

After a moment, he grit his teeth and shouted angrily:

"You're messing with me again. You really are messing with me. Damn it! Curse you!! I'm going to kill…"

Buzz—

His body suddenly felt like it was hit by a powerful high-frequency electric shock.

Hidan's words choked off, his whole body trembled, and foam came out of his mouth.

With a splash, he fell back into the muddy water.

Uchiha Raizen smiled satisfied.

"Alright, I won't play with you anymore. To be honest, with your intelligence, you can't remove that curse. Even if someone cuts off your head, it won't work."

Hidan couldn't stand it.

"What do you mean, 'with your intelligence'? I am the smartest guy in the world!"

Just as he was about to curse back, his body started twitching again.

"Now you have two choices."

Uchiha Raizen continued.

"One, become my follower. From now on, show me absolute loyalty and respect, and you will suffer less."

"The other… I know you can't be killed, so I will tear you apart into pieces and bury you deep in a pit thousands of meters underground. You will sink into eternal darkness. Even your immortal body will eventually die one day because your cells won't get enough nutrients."

In the original story, it was Shikamaru who buried Hidan like this.

Hidan lay in the mud, staring with blood-red eyes, his face full of grief and anger.

He couldn't even curse properly. In all his life, he had never felt so frustrated as he did at this moment.

Uchiha Raizen stretched lazily, glanced at the sky, and thought he should head back soon. Otherwise, Inori would worry again if she found he wasn't at the inn.

"My patience is limited. I'll give you ten seconds to think."

"One, two, ten."

Uchiha Raizen was ready to dig a hole.

Hidan hurriedly shouted, "Hey, hey, that's not fair! You—you—you said ten seconds!"

He was almost crying. Did this guy even make sense? Was he even counting honestly?

"My rules, my decision," Uchiha Raizen smiled harmlessly. "So, have you made your choice?"

"I choose the first one," Hidan said through gritted teeth. He had to endure this humiliation for now, but sooner or later he would get back at them for the shame he suffered today.

"Good, you made a wise choice."

"But I have a condition. I want to keep spreading the teachings of the Jashin Cult. You killed all the other members of the Cult; Lord Jashin won't be happy!"

"No, you must believe in my Barabara Cult."

"Huh? What Barabara Cult? That's just something you made up!"

"If I say it exists, then it does," Uchiha Raizen said firmly. "You don't have the right to negotiate with me."

Hidan had no choice but to lower his head under the roof.

He admitted defeat.

Oh heavens, oh earth, great Lord Jashin, please forgive my offense. My heart still sincerely worships you.

"Go, change your clothes," Uchiha Raizen ordered in a commanding tone. "Then burn everything around here. From now on, there will be no such thing as the Jashin Cult."

Hidan was furious but, with tears in his eyes, he once again apologized silently to the Jashin and obeyed.

The fire spread, turning the sky red, burning all the sins and bloodshed of the Jashin Cult to ashes.

Many years later, perhaps a green meadow would grow here.

All new life always arises from the ruins of the old.

Uchiha Raizen shook his cloak and, leading the newly gathered followers, walked toward the distance in the firelight.
