Chapter 1114: Lilith Tells Her Son’s Origin

Lilith turned to her, a side smile still at the corner of her lips, "Yes, mine. LENNY TALES IS MY SON!"

"What?" Athena shook her head. She could not believe what she had just heard. After all, it all did not just make sense. At least to her it did not. Something was not right here.

Her instinct told her this much.

"But... That is not possible. He was born in the Arena. Deep in the gladiator pits. Sure, he has abnormal abilities, but that can’t be. I was in charge of the Gladiators in that place. their fate was by the will of my lips. I knew his mother. She was killed by Cuban to teach him a lesson—one that he refused to learn, apparently."

Lilith had a calm look on her face, allowing the young girl to talk and defend her theory as best she could.

When she was born talking, Lilith began, her lips never moving but her thoughts reaching Athena’s mind, and with it, memories of a time many thousands of years ago.

"Young one, I am one of power, and unlike my husband, I do not fancy the credibility of lies nor the fruit that there produce. So why don’t I tell you a story. A story of young girl, that found love and was willing to burn the world for the love of one Entity."

After Lilith and her sisters were casted from the first garden by the one above all, the other sisters blamed their unfortunate fate on the lies that had been weaved by the Morningstar. And each one in their own way swore vengeance on him and his kin.

All of them except one. Lilith. You see unlike her sisters, she did not care that her naivete to life as a resolute of her innocence had been taken advantage of by the Morningstar, just to justify his own love for another.

No! For her, love had taken another shape, planting its seeds in her heart, such that all she desired was the union of togetherness with the one she had come to cherish.

After all, whether it be by trickery or not, he had indeed opened her eyes to the true nature of the world, and the flavor of life on her tongue tasted bland without the sustenance of his comfort.

As such, she waited outside the Garden. She waited for many many days, and when Adam and his new wife fell, she had hid behind a rock, far in the distance, and had watched them leave the first garden.

She had seen that even though they had sinned, the one above all had still covered the shame of their nakedness with the skin of a sheep, a significance and care that they were never given.

However, she had also witnessed the curse of the serpent and how it had been left to roam the earth forever without limbs.

While man went his way with his wife, so did the serpent.

And she witnessed as Lucifer separated his essence from the serpent.

Back then she had immediately ran up to him, declaring her love and willingness to follow him. However, the Morningstar had been wrecked by the lose of another love.

After all, Adam had been his friend, and because of him, Adam would now know the curse of Death, an entity that had only freshly been born into the cosmos as a result of his actions.

The Morningstar was in mourning, and his heart had no space to take another love. He was filled with guilt and even though she pleaded with him, he left her. And so she laid on the ground, similarly heart broken as the Morningstar proceeded to the Rainbow bridge to have the call of his vengeance on the ray of emotions that he could not handle in his heart.

Lilith waited on the ground for days. Regardless of her new found abilities, and her command and connection with the laws of creation, she sort nothing. No glory, no honor, not even redemption. All she wanted was the love of a man that had casted her aside.

On the long days basking in the heat of the sun, she would find herself making sculptures of his magnificence, and on long cold nights, her tears would stream from her face until lakes would be formed birthed from her pain.

She was to carry this hurt for all her life, that is if she was to continue living. And then one day, surprising even her, he came back.

And when he did, she ran to him, diving into his embrace—A woman that had missed her love. And once more, another lake was created from her tears of love and joy.

However, as the mist in her eyes cleared away, she noticed something. There was something different about him. His chest was hollow, empty of his beating organ.

She could see the traces of his divine blood as it stained his ever stainless garment.

She panicked as she dug her hand into the hole. "Who hurt you?" she asked with a fierce vengeful gaze in her eyes.

However, he was the Morningstar, those that were capable of scaring his skin were not that many.

Surprisingly, he had a smile on his lips. he looked free, free of burden, like the weight of existence had been lifted from his shoulders.

Impressively enough, she had never seen him take up another expression except a smile since that day. Not even when he was ending the lives of many many people, including ending an entire royal family.

He cupped her face in his palms as her needy eyes laid on him, and then his words, like the subtle jingle of a million miraculous bells flowed into her ears, "will you give yourself to me? Body and.... Soul, Being and.... existence." every word rolled off his lips with passionate seductiveness and careful attention to the gaze in her eyes.

She was captivated by him, her every being taken by the presence of the divine that radiated literally from his skin...
