Chapter 9: Changing Clothes
"Here," Yugao handed the uniform and gear to Kaguya, "this will be your equipment from now on. Remember to use it properly and report immediately if you lose anything."
"Yes." Kaguya unfolded the items and saw that they were pretty much as she had imagined: a black bodysuit, a white vest, and a mask. She wasn't fond of the outfit since it didn't look very good, but she was interested in the fox mask.
"Why don't you try it on and see if it fits?" Yugao said with a smile, arms crossed over her chest.
"Um, Yugao-senpai," Kaguya hesitated, "could you step outside for a moment? I'm not used to changing with someone here."
"So shy," Yugao teased, pinching Kaguya's cheek with a smile. "Alright, I'll step out." She walked out of the room.
Kaguya picked up the uniform and compared it to her size, then placed it on the table and began to undress.
As she removed her clothes, her skin, smooth and flawless like jade, was revealed. Her body was proportionate and perfect, showing the youthful charm of a girl with an already striking allure.
Kaguya looked at herself in the mirror, feeling a bit dazed. She ran her hand gently over her body. She felt like crying—why did such a perfect loli have to be her? It would be better if it were someone else.
At that moment, the door suddenly opened.
"Sorry, I need to grab something."
Yugao walked in, and their eyes met. Yugao was momentarily stunned. She had always thought Kaguya was pretty, but now, without her clothes, she was breathtakingly beautiful.
Kaguya quickly grabbed her clothes to cover herself, her face turning red as if it were boiling. She felt like dying from embarrassment at being caught in such a vulnerable moment.
"Let me know when you're done," Yugao said, noticing Kaguya's discomfort. She tilted her head and winked at her before stepping out and closing the door behind her.
Kaguya exhaled and hurriedly put on the uniform, fastening the buttons. She looked in the mirror and found that it fit perfectly, almost as if it had been tailored for her.
The girl in the mirror was not only beautiful but also exuded a certain heroic aura, looking both sharp and elegant. The only issue was her long hair, which almost reached the ground and seemed impractical.
Since she could use Needle Jizo, similar to Jiraiya's spiky hair technique, she figured she could alter her hair length too. Kaguya closed her eyes, channeled chakra into her hair, and tried to control it. To her surprise, it worked. Her long hair gradually shortened until it reached her waist.
Kaguya opened her eyes and looked in the mirror. The long hair that nearly touched the ground was gone, replaced by hair that reached her waist, perfectly complementing her outfit.
She picked up the fox mask from the table and put it on, adding an extra layer of mystery.
"Are you ready?"
"Yes."
"You took so long, I thought..." Yugao walked in and froze, staring at the stunning and valiant girl before her.
"How do I look? Is it alright?" Kaguya asked, feeling a bit self-conscious as she adjusted her clothes.
"Absolutely perfect." Yugao exclaimed excitedly, pulling Kaguya into a hug. "You're so adorable." She couldn't help but kiss Kaguya on the cheek.
"Yugao-senpai, I can't breathe."
"Oh, really? Sorry," Yugao quickly let go of Kaguya.
Kaguya had almost been smothered by Yugao's embrace, but she had to admit that she hadn't realized how well-endowed Yugao was under her clothes. If she hadn't almost been smothered, she wouldn't have minded staying in that embrace a bit longer.
Satisfied with how she looked in the mirror, Kaguya nodded. It was acceptable.
But when she turned around, she almost had a nosebleed.
"Yugao-senpai, why are you changing clothes here?"
"This is a changing room, isn't it?"
With such a reasonable answer, Kaguya found herself unable to argue.
Walking down the street...
"I never thought Kaguya-chan could blush, it's so adorable," Yugao teased, laughing as she put her arm around Kaguya's shoulder.
"Leave me alone, Yugao-senpai! This is embarrassing enough as it is."
"Haha." Yugao laughed heartily, unaffected by Kaguya's attitude.
"Alright, enough teasing. Let's talk about our mission. We're on patrol duty, which means we have to inspect the entire village. There are 36 observation points we need to check on schedule. It sounds simple, but it's quite tiring," Yugao said, patting Kaguya's shoulder. "Today, I'll go with you to help you get familiar with it."
In the evening...
"I'm home," Kaguya said, dragging her tired body into the house. She had expected the Anbu duties to be more exciting but found them quite tedious. She had spent the entire day patrolling back and forth, and her legs felt like they were about to fall off.
"Kaguya, are you back?" a deep voice called from behind her.
"Yes, Father," Kaguya replied respectfully, recognizing Hiashi Hyuga's voice as she turned around.
"How was today?" Hiashi asked, walking over.
"It was alright, but patrolling was a bit monotonous," Kaguya answered honestly.
"Do not underestimate these tasks," Hiashi said sternly. "They are crucial to the village's security. You must not be careless, understand?"
"Yes, I understand," Kaguya said, adopting a listening posture.
"Good."
Hiashi nodded and walked away without further questions.
Kaguya exhaled deeply. This strict father of hers certainly had a formidable presence.
