Dimensional Quest: I Was Reincarnated Into My Trashy Fanfic

Chapter 52: Poor Yoruichi. She was destined to be proven wrong...

At 7:00 PM, Marin, Rangiku, Isane, and Yoruichi arrived back at David's penthouse.

They had forgotten to bring the key to the front door, but luckily, Sofia was in the living room and opened the door when she heard the knocking.

When Marin saw Sofia, she gave a big smile and jumped forward to give her a hug, wrapping her up with her shopping bags.

"Wahhh~! You're so gorgeous! You must be Sofia!"

Sofia was stunned by the sudden hug, but just stood still and nodded.

"I am. You must be Marin?"

Marin released Sofia and nodded her head happily. "Yep~! Marin Kitagawa, nice to meet you! This is Rangiku, Isane, and the little cat is Yoruichi!"

Sofia greeted the others and stepped aside to let them in.

"What've you been up to, Sofia? I heard David was with Komoe-chan upstairs playing games, heheh~."

"Just thinking about things after having a talk with Tomoe."

"Mm, I see~. I hope you figure things out, heheh. Tomoe told me what you were worrying about, but I think if you just spend enough time around hubby, you'll come to your conclusion sooner rather than later."

Sofia didn't question how Tomoe could've contacted Marin when she didn't even move and instead just gave Marin a slight smile as Rangiku and Isane took their shopping bags up to their rooms.

Marin left Sofia and hurried off to her apartment via the door under David's stairs, quickly depositing today's gains before running back and rushing to David's office.

When she got there, she wanted to jump in David's lap and snuggle up to him, but when she saw Komoe's adorable figure playing games in David's lap with a controller and pair of headphones that were too big for her, she covered her mouth and suppressed a squeal.

Mio was sitting off to the side, watching with rapt attention and a hint of envy as she, too, really wanted to play video games.

David felt Marin's presence in the doorway and looked back at her, only to see her looking like she wanted to scream and abduct Komoe.

⟪ Heheh, Marin absolutely adores Komoe-chan. She's a lucky little girl to be able to have so many mothers that fawn over her like this. ⟫

He patted Komoe on the head and brought her attention away from the game.

She took off her headphones and said, "Papa, I made it to Pravoka!"

"Mm, good job, Komoe-chan. Marin is home now so I'm going to start on dinner, okay?"

Komoe moved her head to look behind them and saw Marin standing in the doorway with a huge grin on her face.

"Mama Marin!" Komoe shouted in joy as she jumped out of David's lap and flew into Marin's arms.

"Heheh~, was my little Komoe-chan playing Papa's game?" Marin asked as she hugged Komoe tight.

"Mm! It's really fun! You should play it, too! I think Mama Mio will also be playing!"

Marin smiled and looked over at Mio who was still staring at the screen as Komoe's characters stood in a port town without moving.

"Kyahaha~! I think you're right, Komoe-chan~!"

David stood up and walked up to Marin, giving her a kiss on the lips and gently caressing her face.

"I was planning on making hamburger steak for dinner. Is that alright with you?"

"Mm," Marin replied with a blush and a smile.

"Why do the mamas always get kisses, but I don't?" Komoe asked with a slight pout.

David chuckled and leaned in to give Komoe a kiss on her forehead.

"Better?" he asked.

"Much better!" Komoe replied with a giggle.

"Alrighty, you can continue playing up here if you want, Komoe-chan; I'll just be working on dinner downstairs. Marin, I forgot about it earlier, but can you show Sofia to her room?"

"Yes! Also, I have something interesting to tell you later, but it can wait until dinner heheh~."

David raised an eyebrow, but didn't question her and decided to wait until dinner to hear about it.

He then went downstairs to the kitchen and started preparing food.

"Komoe-chan, I'm going to show Sofia to her room. Do you wanna stay here with Mio and keep playing your game or do you wanna go downstairs?"

Komoe jumped down from Marin's embrace and rushed over to the chair her and David were sitting in previously.

"I'll keep playing! Mama Mio, can I sit in your lap?"

Mio looked over at Komoe and couldn't resist giving in to the cute little girl. She nodded with a smile and sat in the chair before picking Komoe up and setting her in her lap.

Komoe giggled, put on the headphones, grabbed the controller, and continued playing her game.

Mio looked back at Marin and nodded, prompting the latter to smile and go downstairs to find Sofia.

With a bright smile on her face, Marin skipped downstairs and appeared next to Sofia who happened to be sitting on a couch and watching whatever Tomoe had playing on the TV.

"Sofia~!" Marin called out.

The silver-haired beauty jerked her head over to look at the cheery girl beside her.

"Yeah...?" She asked hesitantly.

For some reason, Marin's position as David's first wife and her over-enthusiastic attitude was a bit intimidating to the rough and tumble Sofia.

"Hubby wanted me to show you to your room that you'll be staying in, come on~!"

Sofia raised an eyebrow until she remembered that David had said something about a room for her, causing her to stand up quickly in excitement.

She had originally thought she would just be a bodyguard in the Cradle, but having a room in David's penthouse sounded nice to her.

"Got it, lead the way!"

Marin raised her chin and sauntered off to the only empty room left upstairs, something David said was for Sofia.

Sofia was elated to have such a nice room to herself and had no intentions of changing any of the furniture that was already in the room, she just followed behind Marin as she listened to her explanations about everything.

Meanwhile, David was having fun making dinner and humming to himself with his apron on.

The onions had already been sautéed and the panko was soaking in the milk.

Now, David was working on grinding up some high-quality minotaur meat using clean, sharp rocks that he turned into a dangerous yet effective meat grinder.

⟪ Earth manipulation is amazing. While I'm stuck using normal rocks for now, I'm sure I can manage some metals if I progress further. I won't need a separate metal manipulation ability, right? I mean metal comes from minerals, so... ⟫

Shaking off thoughts about future Chaos Elemental abilities, David focused on spinning his little grinder until the minotaur meat was nicely ground up.

When he was done grinding, he allowed the grinder to dissolve without leaving behind any rocks or dust, keeping the meat nice and clean.

"Ohh~, that was impressive~!" Rangiku said after taking a drink from a can of beer and leaning over David's shoulder.

David was startled at first, but didn't react and instead chose to grab a bowl to start mixing the ground minotaur meat, cooled onions, some egg, the soaked panko, salt, pepper, and a bit of nutmeg.

Rangiku was wearing a pale yellow blouse, blue jeans, and white socks. Her large O-cup breasts were pressing against David's arm as she leaned against him.

"Just a new ability I'm still learning, that's all. How was your trip outside with the others?" He asked, not upset by her closeness, but appreciating it nonetheless.

Rangiku took another swig from her beer before wrapping her right arm around David's shoulder and leaning on him, saying, "I can't tell you~... Marin-chan said she wanted to be the one to tell you, heheheh~."

David raised an eyebrow and stopped kneading the ingredients in the bowl together.

"Did anything bad happen?"

Rangiku smiled and breathed on David's face as she said, "Nooope~!"

With a hand covered in meat, egg, and soaked panko, David pinched Rangiku's nose.

"Ow!"

"Haha, wash your hands and help me out. Since you want to talk, you can help cook."

Rangiku blushed, either due to David's abrupt physical contact or the alcohol, but smiled anyway and went to the sink to wash her hands.

"I can't believe you're forcing a beautiful woman like me to work~!" Rangiku said coquettishly as she dried her hands and stood next to David again.

"A beautiful woman like you would make the food taste even better, why wouldn't I want you to help?"

"Gasp! I'm gonna tell Marin-chan that you're flirting with another woman!" Rangiku said in mock offense.

"Hahaha, tell her whatever you'd like. Now, put down the beer and start mixing with me."

Rangiku smiled, but did as she was told. She set her beer down on the counter and put her hands in the mixing bowl with David's, kneading the meat alongside the handsome young man she was tasked with observing.

David manipulated the air in order to bring Rangiku's beer can up to his lips and took a long sip.

"Puaaa~, that's good! I haven't had a drink in too damn long," David said with a smile, enjoying Rangiku's alcohol selection.

Rangiku didn't say anything about an indirect kiss as it means nothing from her perspective, but she felt excited nonetheless.

David would occasionally squeeze Rangiku's hands in the bowl to tease her, but he still managed to get his task done.

He started taking out chunks of the meat mixture and started forming balls with them that he would squeeze into patties after.

"It's been a few hours now, how does the graft feel? Any discomfort?" David asked with concern.

Rangiku smiled and said, "It's wonderful, David... I can already feel myself getting stronger and I'm sure that I'll be healed before the weekend is over. I can't thank you enough for what you've done."

David just shrugged, "Meh, I just don't want to see you suffer over some long-lasting injury. I'm sure that once you're healed, you'll finally be able to reach Bankai."

Rangiku didn't ask how he knew she was unable to reach Bankai with her Zanpakutou, Haineko, because she already knew it was due him knowing about her and her franchise.

⟪ I'd really like to see Rangiku get healed soon. She says she'll be healed within a couple of days so that at least makes me feel better. The more I'm around these Bleach girls, the more I want to hurry up and kill Aizen. ⟫

David started taking the balls of meat and flattened them into patties. Then, he tossed them back and forth between his hands in order to get the air out of them.

⟪ How can I tell them about Aizen's plans without seeming like I know too much though? I can't just tell them that he's going to manipulate things and cause Rukia Kuchiki to come down here and give her powers to Ichigo Kurosaki, right? Even I don't know how he did that, but I do know why... ⟫

Rangiku, although drunk, was listening intently to what David had to say.

⟪ He orchestrates her execution so that he can steal the Hogyoku from her soul that Urahara decided to use as a hiding place for it. Seriously, such a dangerous device and Urahara just says, "Eh, instead of destroying it, I'll just hide it in Rukia. Perfect plan, no flaws at all!" Yeah, way to go, dumbass. The Hogyoku was used to create a powerful Arrancar army and it's all your fault... Tch, so stupid... ⟫

Not only Rangiku, but the other Shinigami that could hear David and even Hiyori were shocked to learn what he had just said.

⟪ And when Rukia's execution is getting chaotic due to the arrival of Ichigo and friends, Aizen uses his Zanpakutou's illusion ability to fake his own death and leave a letter that turns Momo against some people in the Gotei 13. Why ya gotta bring Momo into it, huh? She's just a sweetheart that didn't deserve the shit Aizen threw at her... ⟫

⟪ I think it was like, 120 or so years ago that Aizen, Gin, and Kaname went to Hueco Mundo and killed Barragan Luisenbarn, the so-called God-King of Hueco Mundo, and took over Las Noches to rule over the place. Dude's been planning shit for a long time, leading to the creation of the Visoreds, a strong Arrancar army, the murder of the Central 46, the attempted destruction of Karakura Town, and so much more... ⟫

⟪ I can take care of most of the stuff that hasn't happened yet hopefully, but there's nothing I can do about the past. Really, I'm mainly just worried about Momo since she's the closest one to Aizen. Even though I know things work out for her, I'd prefer it if she didn't have to suffer through anything... ⟫

David threw the meat patties into a heated skillet with some oil and started to cook the hamburger steaks.

⟪ Haaa... Whatever, I should just focus on dinner... ⟫

...

In the 5th Division barracks, Lieutenant Momo Hinamori was pacing around her room.

She had been extremely nervous ever since she first started hearing David's inner voice start mentioning her Captain, Sosuke Aizen's, betrayal.

Learning early that she couldn't mention anything that she heard from the inner voice, she tried secretly probing around to see if Aizen was actually someone who would do what David had said.

Unfortunately, he was very good at pretending.

Momo couldn't find anything that would mark him as suspicious and hearing how detailed David's information was, she was torn between continuing to trust her Captain and believing what David was saying.

Frustrated, Momo finally left her room and went to go find a certain 4th Division Captain who might be able to help calm her down.

...

David hummed to himself as Rangiku continued leaning against him, watching the food cook.

'Would it be too much to give them information about the Quincy threat?'

[Meh, do whatever you think is best.]

'What a cop-out answer... I'll just give a little hint.'

⟪ While Aizen was the biggest threat on the Hollow side of things, there was still the Quincy threat unfortunately. The new Quincy empire, Wandenreich, is literally hiding in the shadows of the Seireitei, more specifically in the place called the Schatten Bereich. It's a pocket dimension that's lined up with the Seireitei and is concealed due to the Quincy's manipulation of spiritual particles, or Reishi. ⟫

⟪ The war that they launched on Soul Society was the reason why Unohana had to die and I'll be damned if I let that happen. When I inevitably go to the Soul Society in the future, should I just sneak away and kill Yhwach before the war happens? It was definitely the most violent and gruesome arc in Bleach and I can't say I liked what happened all that much. Nemu dies, Unohana dies, Rangiku gets turned into a zombie, and a bunch of other zombie bullshit takes place. ⟫

⟪ Now that I think about it, I wonder how the world works with all of these franchises existing simultaneously? Like, in Bleach, the Soul King is responsible for the existence of reality, but... I'm sure other franchises have similar existences, right? I mean, there's Great Red from High School DxD that's supposed to be responsible for stabilizing the Dimensional Gap or something so shouldn't that be in conflict somewhat with the Soul King? ⟫

⟪ Really, who knows what other franchises exist that have similar people... I'd like to know what the hell I was thinking when I was writing that 'Saving Kurumi' novel... Hm, now that I think about it, who is Kurumi Tokisaki and what is the franchise 'Date a Live' that I pulled her from? Shit's weird... ⟫

[Hey! Why'd you put in that last bit about Kurumi?! You didn't have to mention her!]

'Eh? Was I not--wait... Why're you getting so upset over me mentioning Kurumi? Is she one of the three people that brought me to this world that you promised not to tell me about?'

[...]

'Answer me or I'll make up a bunch of shit and broadcast it for all to hear. I'm assuming Kurumi can hear my inner voice which is why you got all uppity, right?'

[Don't you dare! Yes, dammit! She's one of them and she can hear you so shut up! Fuck, she's totally going to kill me when she finds out... Dammit, David, I thought we were friends!]

David raised an eyebrow as he placed the cooked hamburger steaks onto a plate and added uncooked ones to the skillet.

'We are friends, but I was just curious. Still, why're you getting so worked up? Is she a monster or something? You're acting like you're scared of her.'

[That's because I am scared of her! You don't know how crazy she is when she gets upset and if she finds out I ruined the surprise they had, she'll torture me for days!]

'...Um... Do I even want to meet her then?'

[YES!]

Chaos-chan was quick to respond to David as she desperately didn't want him getting scared away from meeting Kurumi.

'Alright alright, I get it. Sorry, okay? I won't mention Kurumi anymore until I meet her. Still, it doesn't feel great being left in the dark like this. How long will it take for the other two seals to be released and why do I even have them?'

[With the first seal being released early, I really have no idea how long the rest will take. I originally only wanted the seals to seal your racial abilities so that you could slowly grow accustomed to them without your body exploding, but Kurumi wanted to seal away your memories so that you wouldn't use your story as a reference in this life. Things are completely different from what you wrote after all.]

'I see... I can understand that, but how did she even bring me here? Or rather, how did the three people bring me here? A character in a novel gaining sentience is way too--'

[Look, just stop asking me about these things, okay? They said they'd tell you so I'll leave it to them. Please, David, I don't want Kurumi getting even more mad at me than she likely already is...]

David could hear the desperation in Chaos-chan's voice and while he was curious, he didn't want to upset Chaos-chan any more than he already had.

'Sorry, I'll just be patient and keep doing what I'm doing. I didn't mean to go from leaking plot info to going deep into my and Kurumi's background anyway, it just happened.'

[I know your thoughts really like to wander, but keep this topic away from them in the future, please.]

David nodded mentally and finished with the last of the hamburger steaks.

He looked over at Rangiku and saw her staring blankly at the empty skillet.

'Ugh, I may have overloaded Rangiku with information... I hope her and the other Bleach women will take what I said seriously and prepare themselves so that I don't have to do too much work in the future...'

"Rangiku, you alright? Haha, did you drink too much or something?" David asked as he slipped out from under Rangiku's arm and went over to the rice cooker.

"Hm? Ah! Haha~, I can never have enough to drink! I just got lost in my thoughts about something is all," Rangiku hurriedly replied with a flirty smile and a wink.

David just chuckled and filled up the rice cooker, turning it on shortly after.

"Wanna have a drink with me while we wait for dinner to finish cooking?" Rangiku asked.

"Sure, sounds good to me."

With nothing left to do but wait for the rice to cook, David went to the fridge and took out two cans of beer that Rangiku had bought the previous night and clicked one of them open.

He then walked over to the couch Tomoe was sitting on and took a seat next to her, placing the second can of beer on her neck.

"Ah! Cold!" Tomoe said, reaching up to feel her neck.

When she felt the can of beer in David's hand, she looked over at him and smiled.

"Is the young master trying to get me drunk?" She asked.

"Maybe, who knows? Drinking with one beautiful woman is good enough, but what about drinking with two?" David replied, chuckling mischievously.

Rangiku came over and took a seat right next to David on his right side, sandwiching him in-between two extremely beautiful and busty women.

"Wow~, so not only will you flirt with me behind your wives' backs, but you'll also flirt with me in front of them? Do you want them to feel jealous or something?" Rangiku asked as she pushed her breasts against David's right arm.

Tomoe looked at David with a raised eyebrow and a small smirk, curious about his answer.

"Like I said before, it's not a secret that I will flirt with beautiful women in the future," David said as he downed half of his beer.

"Puaaa~... Delicious.. Anyway, my wives know that I'll always hold them in my heart and that I've got space large enough to fit many more wives in it. I will never leave them and they'll never leave me, but it is cute when some of them get jealous. Take Mio for example, when she's jealous, she puffs up her cheeks and makes the cutest expression! However, Tomoe doesn't easily show her jealous side so I've gotta try when I can, heheh."

David ran his left hand through Tomoe's hair and gave her a quick kiss on the neck before leaning back in the couch, propping his feet up on the coffee table in front of them.

"Keep kissing Tomoe like that and I'll be the one to get jealous, heheh~. Some of us want kisses too, you know," Rangiku said, half-serious and half-teasing.

While David was cooking, Rangiku had stealthily downed more than four beers, turning her face red and her eyes narrow.

David looked over at Rangiku and, seeing her drunk expression, just offered a small smile and said, "Whether you're joking or not, I won't do anything to a drunk woman. So I'm sorry, but you'll have to make do by yourself."

Trying to fan the flames in Rangiku's heart, David leaned over to Tomoe and kissed her neck a few more times before resuming his original sitting position.

Tomoe's heart was beating faster and the horniness she was feeling earlier just got stronger.

"Young master... Your teasing should have its limits when we're around guests...," Tomoe said, trying to calm her breathing.

"Hahaha! You're right, you're right," David said with a smile, crossing his right leg over his left in order to conceal the erection he was starting to get.

However, to Tomoe and Rangiku--who could clearly see the bulge in David's pants--they weren't fooled and instead started feeling a warmth in their lower stomach and chest.

David was blissfully unaware as he looked at the TV.

He took another sip from his beer and asked Tomoe, "Have you just been watching historical dramas all day?"

Tomoe tried to clear her mind and put her attention back on what she was watching as she said, "Yes. They're very entertaining, young master. You should watch them with me sometime."

"Mm, I might do just that. I plan on expanding my office so you girls can use it for entertainment purposes."

Tomoe nodded her head absent-mindedly, but didn't say anything else.

After a couple more minutes, the rice cooker went off, causing David to stand up and rush into the kitchen.

『 Tomoe (Feudal Fangirl): I'm definitely going first tonight. The young master keeps teasing me with kisses in front of Rangiku and I can't take it! I'm going to wring him dry as payback! 』

『 Mio (Hungry Masochist): I want to have his child. 』

Tomoe almost spit out the beer she just swallowed.

『 Tomoe (Feudal Fangirl): Where did that come from all of a sudden?! 』

『 Mio (Hungry Masochist): I've been spending time with Komoe-chan upstairs in David's office, and each of her little actions and expressions are too precious! I'm just worried about what husband and I would end up having as kids. Are they gonna be spiders or humans? How does that even work for people like us? 』

『 Tomoe (Feudal Fangirl): You don't need to worry, Mio. Our children will be hybrids between our original race and human, or as Chaos-dono said, Chaos Human. So the young master and I will have a Dragon/Chaos Human-hybrid child and you and him would have a Black Spider of Calamity/Chaos Human-hybrid child. 』

『 Mio (Hungry Masochist): I see... Thank you, Tomoe. That relieves me of my worries. I think the next time him and I are alone, I will bring this up to him. 』

『 Tomoe (Feudal Fangirl): Are you sure? It doesn't seem too quick for you? 』

『 Mio (Hungry Masochist): I've been alive for a long time and have never been in love before. Seeing Komoe-chan, how could I not want to have one with husband right away? 』

『 Tomoe (Feudal Fangirl): I understand. I wouldn't mind having a child with the young master, but I think waiting a bit longer would suit me better. 』

『 Mio (Hungry Masochist): Tch, that's because you already have Komoe-chan... 』

『 Tomoe (Feudal Fangirl): I love Komoe, but she was created differently. She used to be a part of me that I split off as a clone, nothing more. When I told her to call the young master "Papa", that was only a joke to tease you and him. I like that the young master treats her as our child, but it would be different if I carried around a child for 9 months before giving birth. 』

『 Mio (Hungry Masochist): That makes sense... Still, Komoe-chan is your and his daughter, whether you think so or not. Komoe-chan thinks the same as well so don't say anything like that again to her. 』

『 Tomoe (Feudal Fangirl): I won't say that to her, I'm not that cold-hearted. Also, why has Marin been silent this entire time? 』

『 Marin Kitagawa (Foxy Otaku): Sorry, I'm talking with Sofia right now about hubby, heheh~. Her thoughts are in a mess so I'm just helping to... guide her. (evil_smile.jpg) 』

『 Tomoe (Feudal Fangirl): Ah... Yes, I already spoke with that woman earlier about the young master. I don't care if she falls in love with him or not, but I basically told her that she better be sure about her feelings and not doing it just to feel some sense of peace. 』

『 Mio (Hungry Masochist): Good on you, Tomoe! I would not have been as kind, but seeing as how husband likes her, I've refrained from saying anything to her in general. 』

『 Marin Kitagawa (Foxy Otaku): I like her a lot! She told me about her past and what David's actions mean to her and it's so sad! You shouldn't judge her without getting to know her first, okay? 』

The chat was silent for a few moments before they finally responded.

『 Tomoe (Feudal Fangirl): Once again, as expected of the first wife... (nod.jpg) 』

『 Mio (Hungry Masochist): (dogeza.gif) 』

Right after the girls' conversations finished, David spread his voice throughout the entire penthouse and with his calm and gentle voice, he said, "Dinner's ready, girls."

Isane was still sitting in her room, Marin and Sofia were in Sofia's room, Mio and Komoe were in the office, and Rangiku and Tomoe were in the living room.

Yoruichi was sitting on the couch still pretending to be a cat and Shiki was sitting on the living room floor.

When they heard David's voice, they all jumped up and made their way to the large dining table for some hamburger steak and rice.

The girls all took their previous positions with David at the head of the table, Komoe to his right, Marin to his left, Mio next to her, Rangiku next to her, Sofia at the other end of the table, Isane to her left, and finally Tomoe in between Isane and Komoe.

[...Take long enough to describe the seating positions...? Jeez...]

'...?'

David was confused about Chaos-chan's stupid and unnecessary outburst, but didn't ask about it as he finished his task of scooping rice onto everyone's plates and setting a hot hamburger steak on top of the rice.

He then made a portion for Yoruichi and set it on the floor for her.

Shiki took a seat on the couch since there weren't any seats at the dining table for him, but he, too, had a plate in front of him.

Poor Shiki...

"Wow! It looks really good, Papa! What is it??" Komoe asked as she wiggled around in her seat.

"Haha, thank you, Komoe-chan. This is hamburger steak on a bed of rice, I think you'll like it," David said with a smile as he took his seat.

Komoe didn't wait for anyone else before she stuck her spoon in the meat, causing the juices inside to spill out onto the rice.

Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she picked up a spoonful of meat and rice and ate it.

"Mmm~! Tasty!"

Everyone at the table smiled at Komoe's cuteness.

"Itadakimasu!" They all said before following Komoe's actions and eating their food.

David waited for their reactions before eating.

The girls all smiled and said their praises as they enjoyed the meal.

"So, how did your little Hollow-hunting excursion go today?" David asked as he looked over at Marin.

"Mmm, we actually went shopping instead, heheh~," Marin replied, looking like she wanted to say more.

David got another spoonful of food and asked, "Oh? What happened?"

"We happened to run into a girl named Orihime Inoue, a super sweet girl, but one thing led to another and we ended up sending her dead brother off to the Soul Society!"

David's arm froze and let his spoon rest in mid-air.

"Orihime was around? How did you happen to run into her?" David asked.

Marin, wanting to keep up appearances, raised an eyebrow and said, "Eh? Does hubby know Orihime?"

'Oops...'

David shook his head with a smile and said, "Ah, no, I was just curious. How did you meet that Orihime girl?"

Marin detailed their meeting with Orihime while leaving out their main topic of conversation, covering it up by saying they just hit it off and coincidentally passed by her old apartment on their way to their destination.

"I see... Thank you, girls, for doing that for her. I don't know her, but I'm sure this was a much better conclusion to her and her brother's relationship than him turning into a Hollow or something," David said as he reached over and rubbed Marin's arm in appreciation.

Marin smiled at him and giggled before happily shoveling more food in her mouth.

The conversation at the dinner table was light and enjoyable with Sofia and Rangiku looking over at David every once in a while.

After dinner was over, it was already around 10:00 PM.

David cleaned up the table as everyone went to the living room to hang out and watch TV.

Mio joined David in the kitchen to wash the dishes and they chatted happily until they were done.

When the cleaning was complete, David went to the living room with his arm wrapped around Mio's waist and said, "Alright, it's getting late. You girls can do whatever you'd like for the rest of the night, but Komoe-chan definitely needs to go to sleep."

Komoe got up from Marin's lap and said, "I want to sleep in the Cradle tonight!"

David gave Komoe a weird look and asked, "Why? I was planning to let you sleep there tonight anyway, but I didn't even say anything about it yet."

Komoe looked at Marin and saw her nod her head slightly with a smile.

"Mama Marin said that you wanted alone time with her and the other mamas so I told her that I would go to the Cradle tonight. I wanted to go to the Goblin Warrens dungeon tomorrow anyway to bring you more meat!" Komoe said with a big smile on her face.

David smiled wryly and nodded his head, "I see... I suppose I should create a door to the mansion in the Cradle so you can easily come back if you need to, yeah?"

He chuckled before letting go of Mio and walking up to Komoe, patting her on the head and picking her up in his arms.

"Come on, let's go make the door before you leave," he said.

"Heheh, okay!"

"Shiki, come with us. Watch over Komoe while she's there and you can come back in the morning."

Shiki stood up from his seat and happily walked over to David. "As you wish, young master!"

David then went upstairs and stopped next to Sofia's room, looking at the stretch of wall in-between the door to Sofia's room and the stairs.

Placing his hand on the wall, David connected to the Dimensional Gate Tower and used its functionality to create a simple dark wooden door both on the wall he was touching and the wall next to his bedroom in his Cradle's mansion.

He then set the permissions on the door to allow for himself, Tomoe, Mio, Marin, Komoe, Shiki, and Sofia to enter and exit as they pleased.

Feeling the connection between the Cradle and his penthouse now, he turned the handle on the door and pushed it open, showing the luxurious interior of his mansion.

"Alright, Komoe-chan. The mansion is now essentially a part of the penthouse now so you can come and go freely in the future. Since the penthouse doesn't have many rooms, I'll set up one of the bedrooms in the mansion for you in the future. It will have whatever you want, but I don't want you feeling like you don't live with us, okay? This is about as close as I can get to merging the buildings, haha..."

Komoe hopped down from David's arms and ran through the door before looking at him with a smile.

"Heheh, this is perfect, Papa! I'll stay in the room next to yours from now on!"

David walked through the door and knelt down on the ground before he gave Komoe a kiss on the forehead and wrapped her up in a hug.

"Alright, sweetheart. Get some sleep."

Komoe squeezed David tighter and nodded her head, "Mm! Enjoy your alone time with mamas, heheh~!"

David pulled back and playfully flicked Komoe's forehead with a smirk before he stood up, ignoring the giggling little girl as she ran to the room she picked out.

Shiki had appeared behind David and bowed to him before following behind Komoe.

With one last look at his daughter, David went through the door back to the penthouse and decided to leave it open before standing in front of the stairs.

"Marin, Tomoe, Mio, time for bed. The rest of you girls, I'll see you in the morning."

David called up his wives who were looking extremely excited and told everyone else goodnight before walking to his bedroom.

Yoruichi, who had been silently pretending to be a cat the whole night, was startled when Marin picked her up.

[Yoruichi] 'Huh? What the hell does she think she's doing?!'

She looked up at Marin only to see a mischievous grin on her face.

[Yoruichi] '...Whatever, I'm sure it'll be a peaceful night just like last night... Right?'

Poor Yoruichi. She was destined to be proven wrong...
