Divided by Dawn

Chapter : Characters & World Info

Henry (Day Mode)

Looks: White hair, bright blue eyes, usually rocking clean, all-white clothes.

Vibes: Soft-hearted, awkward, and constantly anxious. He's got this "lost puppy" energy — always trying to do the right thing but super overwhelmed. Haunted by the stuff his darker self does at night. Super shy, especially around girls.

Core: He just wants a normal life and carries a heavy moral compass thanks to his adoptive dad, Joseph.

Henry (Night Mode)

Looks: Jet black hair, glowing red eyes, draped in black, always smirking like he owns the room.

Vibes: Cold, calculating, and doesn't care who gets hurt. He leans all the way into his Lunari bloodline and thinks the world's a game for him to dominate.

Core: Thinks daytime Henry is weak and pathetic — wants to erase him completely. Power isn't a curse to him. It's freedom. A weapon. A throne.

Tsukuyomi

Looks: Gorgeous moon goddess — sometimes ghostly, sometimes solid. Ethereal but dangerous.

Vibes: Flirty, chaotic, sarcastic queen of drama. She's cursed Henry and now lives rent-free in his mind (and his sword).

Core: Loves stirring the pot. She finds both versions of Henry entertaining and kind of… hers. Think "sassy demon on your shoulder" energy. Has serious beef with [???], the sun goddess.

Joseph

Looks/Vibes: Think grizzled old samurai mentor with sad eyes.

Core: Found Henry and raised him like a son. Trained him to survive, even if it meant turning him into a weapon. Created the magical seal that keeps Henry's darkness in check. Even in death, he's still guarding Henry's soul. The real "dad energy" in the story. Still holding a secret he won't tell.

The Continent

A forgotten land scarred by ancient wars between gods and clans. Full of haunted ruins, wastelands, and leftovers from civilizations that blew themselves up with magic.

Kha'thox

Straight-up medieval slums with some broken tech sprinkled in. Brutal, lawless, and full of gangs and warlords. Henry's first brutal taste of the real world outside his quiet upbringing.

Obsidian Heart

A massive crater where a god-war went down — now it's a metal jungle of broken machines and desperate survivors. Think Mad Max meets Dark Souls. The perfect playground for night-Henry to thrive.

Aegis Academy

Magic school meets golden prison. All marble towers, high-tech enchantments, and solar-powered security. Meant to be a place to help gifted students master their power... but for Henry, it's just another battlefield — this time with rules and uniforms.
