Davis had created a sound barrier around little Felix, so he still slept soundly. He cast a glance at Empress Hexena Xylusc, wondering if she would change her mind.

"Young one, you have erred. Why did you commit those crimes?"

"What crimes? Empress, you should know better that males exist to serve us. Isn't that the case from time immemorial? If we don't like them, we can behead them."

"There was no such rule in our clan."

"There isn't, but an Empress shouldn't suppress her urges! Oh- I'm not an Empress in front of you, but in front of them, I'm not something they could handle."

Empress Hexena Xylusc looked at the crazed eyes of the arachnid in front of her. She couldn't help but sigh as she turned around and nodded.

"Improve her bloodline and make her an Empress. She deserves it."

Empress Hexena Xylusc's expression turned sad. She didn't think the first order she would give out was to maim another Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid. It seemed like there was no saving her.

"Are you sure?" Davis asked again.

"Honestly, she reminds me of Flaylock, another arachnid who was sacrificed along with me. He also felt himself to be superior but eventually fell to his Heart Demon. This is a similar case. Flaylock could still have been saved if he was alive, but for her, she had committed a lot of crimes and doesn't even have awareness of it. She refuses to see the lives of fellow arachnids as equal even though she's no queen or empress herself."

Empress Hexena Xylusc sent a soul transmission before nodding as her lips moved, "She will be useful."

"I knew I was right!" The prisoner screamed with excitement, "Empress Hexena, even if I become an Empress, I will always respect you! Let us rule and bring glory back to the clan together!"
