Chapter 396: Ch 396: Anoush of the Crypt

Where the ruins evoke a fear unborn,

And walls are bruised, forever forlorn.

She stirs in silk, a sky of dusk and flame,

A withered curse, seeking her name.

Her shadow bends through crypt and stone,

Among the graves, she loiters alone.

The air grows thick, the moon turns red,

She hymns a lullaby, softly with the dead.

Her hand holds a glass of poisoned fate,

A chalice unbound by love and hate.

The bells have ceased, the candles died,

And yet she walks where angels cried.

Her midnight cloak, cascades so bright,

Draws bats and ghosts to a silent flight.

Her eyes glow like stars in endless haze,

Beware, the unfortunate who meet her gaze.
