"So this is the Douluo Planet ten thousand years in the future..." Huo Yuhao muttered, looking around the street but in truth was that his Divine Sense completely enveloped the entire plane.
With his Omniscient Eyes, Huo Yuhao could even see the past and various futures of the planet. He easily peeked at the Plane Lord and Life Core, his grandparents-in-law, in hibernation.
Huo Yuhao furrowed his browz, quickly getting the reason. 'So, father-in-law's plan is to rely on his child to save the world. Figures, a conniving deadbeat bastard as ever. But what the heck is going on here? I thought it was just a couple of Divergences, but there's actually a few?'
An inheritance of Ancient Rebels, Ancient Clans that brought upon Heavenly Flames into the plane, Divine Tools that grants the user the power of elements and concepts of the universe, and more!
There were so much high-level energy hiding in the plane that Huo Yuhao was surprised that it haven't evolved to the next state of existence; the fourth-dimension.
It was only after he spread his senses further that Huo Yuhao found the reason as to why.
*Which I won't mention. That's a storyline reserved for a future story that ShadowDio and I are planning: set in Douluo Dalu 3, with an OC being an Mc.*
"Amazing. The architecture and technology in this city is almost at the level as our Divine Realm." Wang Dong'er said with a curious expression. She and the others looked around them with expressions of either curiosity and humor.
As Gods who governs a top-tier Divine Realm, they've seen all matter of technology, culture, and advancements, but the sight before them still managed to pique their interest—simply because, technically, it's their homeworld.
"Nah. This is pretty disappointing. It's been ten thousand years! And they still haven't achieved interstellar travel?" Juzi said, frowning with a displeased look as she fixed her glasses and crossed her arms beneath her large chest.
The reason she was most upset about this was because she found out, that in this reality, the Sun Moon Empire had successfully taken over the continent and became the Sun Moon Federation — becoming the most technologically advanced country in the whole world.
However, according to what she had gathered through the mind of a passerby, their advancement in science and engineering had stagnated. Humanity, through their insatiable greed and hunger for power, had only set their sights on creating dangerous soul tools.
They even went as far as disregarding this world's Huo Yuhao's wishes for a peaceful coexistence with the Soul Beast; hunting them down for their DNA to near extinction.
"I forgot what it felt like being....mortal." Ye Guyi muttered, staring down at her hands.
The others nodded in agreement. It felt really weird to them of being weak and with limited access to their whole repository of divine abilities.
Though they say that, they all knew that they were still the most powerful beings currently in this universe if they were to unseal their divinity.
Especially Huo Yuhao. If he hadn't sealed 98% of his whole divinity and power, he might've subconsciously tamed the universe.
"Ladies, what do you think of this place?" Huo Yuhao said, attracting their attention.
The wives stared blankly at the empty dirt lot in front of them.
"... It's nice?" Ma Xiaotao dryly said.
"I think it just needs a bit of dusting is all."
"I think it's a bit hot. Let's place some patch of snow here and there."
"I'm thinking of planting some vegetables and flowers as well though."
"Should I build a badass castle or a mansion?"
The girls were apprehensive about it at first but they quickly got into the spirit of things, sharing ideas on how to transform the barren land before them into something extraordinary.
Despite their divine status, they still found joy in discussing such mundane matters, which made Huo Yuhao smile faintly.
'Being Gods became so boring, that discussing things like this became exciting. We haven't even gotten to the fun part of the honeymoon.'
With a casual wave of his hand, Huo Yuhao distorted reality around the lot around them before turning to his wives with a shovel in hand and a yellow helmet on his head.
"Well? You girls wanna join me or what?"
Wang Dong'er and the girls shared a look, a mischievous one at that.
"Oh dear husband~"
For the next few hours in the distortion field, Huo Yuhao was delegated to transforming the land into an extravagant mansion with a large garden, pool, and other facilities that fit his wives' preferences.
His wives, obviously, had explored the city and all available stores in the meanwhile.
Now some might say that Huo Yuhao was a pushover for his wives' demands...but they underestimate his genius.
When the wives entered their newly built mansion, they aaw Huo Yuhao was sitting on a chair; a few beer cans on his side, facing the pool and staring at the setting sun with a melancholic expression.
The sunlight of the setting sun shone on the pool and reflected on Huo Yuhao's sad face, giving him a more poignant and contemplative aura.
His wives, carrying their shopping bags, froze in place when they saw him and suddenly—there was music.
"Lonely~🎶 I'm Mr. Lonely~🎶"
"I have nobody, for my own~🎶
I'm so lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely~🎶"
"I have nobody for my own~🎶
I am so lonely~🎶"
"H-Husband..." The girls sniffed, tears in their eyes.
Was it emotionally manipulative? Yes. Was it scummy? Maybe. Does the wives know that it was all just a joke? Of course, but they just love their husband too much that logic and common sense gets quickly thrown out of their minds.
And for the next few days, which only equalled to a few hours outside the mansion since Huo Yuhao hadn't taken down the distortion field around the lot yet, was spent lovemaking all around the mansion.
And unlike for the last few years, this session of theirs was one of the most intense—especially since their kids aren't with them.
The distortion field around the mansion dissipated and it was the next day, noon—all of the mess they created had been quickly cleaned up.
Huo Yuhao was in the kitchen preparing his wives dinner; he started a bit early because he wanted to make a buffet that would satisfy them all. His wives went and did their own thing for the time being.
"Hmm. Needs a bit more sauce," Huo Yuhao commented as he stir the pot of a dish he found from another world called "Spaghetti" while simultaneously checking on the dozens of flavored cakes in the oven. He wore casual clothing of a white sleeveless shirt, black pants, sandals, and blue apron that said: "Don't Disrespect The Cook".
As he went to the deep fryer and deep-fried another batch of chicken legs, he paused in surprise.
"Huh. Well, would you look at that? I didn't even I have to do anything and Tang Wulin's literally coming up to our doorstep. Wait, that girl coming along with Qui'er and Wulin... Interesting. So that's your game here, Silver Dragon King?" Huo Yuhao slightly smirked before returning back to his cooking.
Tang Wulin looked around the indoor space of the massive, extravagant white mansion with wide eyes, marveling at the intricate architecture and luxurious decor.
The walls were adorned with marvelous pieces of art, the floor was polished marble, and all sorts of expensive looking soul tools lined the hallways, glowing faintly with an energy that felt both ancient and advanced.
Every step Tang Wulin took felt like walking into a world beyond comprehension, a blend of mortal ingenuity and divine craftsmanship.
"This place is unreal," Tang Wulin muttered, unable to take her eyes off the surroundings. She could feel the subtle pulse of soul power embedded in the mansion, as if the very structure was alive and responding to her presence.
Wang Qiu'er glanced at her, a slight teasing glint flickered in her eyes. "Careful. Don't wander off too far away from here, or else..."
Tang Wulin and Na'er gulped.
"O-Or else what...?" Tang Wulin fearfully asked.
The corners of Wang Qui'er'd lips widened. "Who knows~ You might find yourselves surrounded by an arsenal of dangerous soul tools, thrown into a pit of worms, or worst of all..."
"W-Worst of all?"
Wang Qiu'er didn't answer, making Tang Wulin and Na'er shiver as they hugged each other for comfort.
They closely followed after Wang Qiu'er, heading into the kitchen.
Almost immediately, Tang Wulin and Na'er's eyes widened as they took a sniff—all kinds of delectable aroma filled the air and they gazed at the various delicious meals, both familiar and exotic, were spread across the expansive countertops.
*Monstrous stomach howling noise*
Their mouths watering almost instantly and without even thinking, they lunged towards the meals almost like they were possessed by a demon.
Before they could even get near it however, Wang Qiu'er effortlessly grabbed them by the scuff of their shirts and hoisted them into the air like misbehaving kittens.
"Ah-ah, not so fast little ones." Wang Qiu'er admonished the girls, quickly snapping them back to reality.
"I-I'm sorry..." Tang Wulin apologized and Na'er hung her head low.
Wang Qiu'er sighed and set them down gently, her sharp gaze softening slightly. "You two need to learn a bit of self-control. I can understand Na'er, but not you, Wulin. I know you've ate beforehand."
Tang Wulin's face turned red, Na'er's eyes lit up.
Wang Qiu'er softly smiled and turned towards the man cooking several meals expertly on his own. "Yuhao, can I take a few meals for these little fellas?"
Huo Yuhao turned to face them, and both Tang Wulin and Na'er stood straighter.
'So this man's big sis Qui'er's husband?' Tang Wulin thought, she couldn't help but feel a little afraid. There was just something about him that felt....dangerous.
Na'er felt the same as well, judging by how her pupils turned into pins.
It was to be expected. As of right now, their dragonic bloodline is almost entirely sealed but what remained was enough for their senses to be above average humans.
They could instinctively feel the primal fear that all living beings would have towards one that had reached Supremacy.
Huo Yuhao gave them a disarming smile, bending his knees to meet their eye level.
"Hi. I'm Huo Yuhao, this lovely lady's husband. What's your names, little ones?"
"T-Tang Wulin..."
"...N...N-Na'er..."
Despite his friendly expression, Tang Wulin and Na'er couldn't help but feel like they were standing in the presence of a predator that could end them in an instant.
'As expected of the Golden and Silver Dragons Kings, their senses are incredible. Hmm. I don't want to freak out the kids further...' Huo Yuhao thought and snapped his fingers.
Suddenly, Tang Wulin and Na'er found themselves on a table with various meals and drinks placed in front of them.
Their eyes widened.
"Well, little Wulin and Na'er. As a celebration of us meeting, how about I treat you both to some "light" snacks?" Huo Yuhao said, smiling.
Tang Wulin and Na'er shared a glance. Hesitantly, they reached for the food. The enticing aroma was too hard to resist, and their hunger won out over their lingering apprehension.
The moment they took a bite, their eyes widened.
It was like a festival of flavors erupted in their mouths. The textures, spices, and perfectly balanced seasonings danced across their taste buds, making them momentarily forget where they were.
Tang Wulin whipped towards Huo Yuhao with wide eyes and exclaimed, "Adopt me!"
"No." Huo Yuhao said, with no hesitation.
Are you kidding? That's going to mess up the family line!
"My brother-in-law became my foster daughter?" It's sounds like a cheesy novel title that it's not even funny!
