DD2-Chapter 401: The Disagreement Between Tang San and the God of Destruction; The God of Destruction Wants to Support Huo Yuhao?

["However, please understand that a considerable amount of time has passed since that incident. While we, the gods of the God Realm, hold the Dragon God in high esteem, the rules established cannot be easily revoked."] 

[Upon hearing this, Tang San's face brightened with pride, as he believed that if they could not reach a consensus, Huo Yuhao and the God Realm would inevitably clash, a result that satisfied him.]

[In contrast, Huo Yuhao frowned at the God of Destruction's response, pressing further: "So, the God Realm means that the order cannot be rescinded? God of Destruction, you understand my determination in this matter."]

[Huo Yuhao continued, wanting to avoid conflict if possible. He was not a bloodthirsty or warlike individual. However, the God of Destruction's response left him no choice but to consider more aggressive measures.]

[Ultimately, Huo Yuhao's statements served to persuade the God of Destruction.]

[The God of Destruction acknowledged Huo Yuhao's strength, saying, "I know you are powerful, Huo Yuhao, and I admit that none of the other gods here can match you in combat. Whether they are God Kings, first-level, second-level, or third-level gods, in comparison to you, they are as insignificant as ants."]

[He continued, "However, as the God King of the God Realm, I cannot yield to power. I, the God of Destruction, abide by the rules of the God Realm, and thus, I cannot simply abolish them based on your strength."]

[The God of Destruction then mentioned, "That said, there is a rule within the God Realm that could prove beneficial for you."]

[Tang San frowned at this, while Huo Yuhao's interest piqued. He directly asked the God of Destruction, "Oh? Then, God of Destruction, what is the rule you just mentioned?"]

[Without hesitation, the God of Destruction replied, "Run for the title of Lord of the God Realm!"]

[The gathered gods were momentarily taken aback, as they had never heard of such a title. They were accustomed to only knowing about the five great God Kings, believing that they were the most powerful entities within the God Realm.]

[Hearing the reference to the Lord of the God Realm puzzled them, and they looked to the God of Destruction for further clarification.]

["Lord of the God Realm? Why have we never heard of it? God of Destruction, please elaborate on what this so-called 'Lord of the God Realm' entails!"] 

["Yes, please enlighten us!"] 

[All the gods clamored for the God of Destruction's explanation.]

[Huo Yuhao regarded the God of Destruction with a mix of confusion and curiosity as the God of Destruction continued.]

["What he said is true!" At that moment, several gods—including the Goddess of Life, the God of Kindness, and the God of Evil—stood to confirm the God of Destruction's words.]

[They acknowledged that this rule was genuine, having been long established. However, since the Dragon God's demise, no one had been strong enough to challenge for the position.]

[Those gods with average abilities had little need for this rule, which clarified their ignorance of its existence.]

[Tang San, however, became agitated. Although he was aware of the rule's existence and had contemplated running for the position, he was adamant in preventing Huo Yuhao from pursuing it.]

[If Huo Yuhao succeeded in this election, Tang San knew he would be finished, so he must intervene to prevent that from happening.]

[Thus, Tang San stepped forward, stating, "The God of Destruction speaks correctly. Such a rule indeed exists within the God Realm."] 

["However, the issue is that this rule applies only to the gods of our Realm. Only our gods are eligible to participate in the election, and Huo Yuhao is not one of them."]
