Douluo Dalu (Soul Land): I Am Invincible

Chapter 57: Chapter 57: The Arrogant Dai Mubai

The other person was a tall golden retriever—limbs slightly overdeveloped, cerebellum underdeveloped, and brain utterly stunted.

At this moment, his lecherous, greedy gaze was fixed on Xiao Wu in Fu Ye's arms and Wu Ling beside him.

Fu Ye frowned at the heterochromatic-eyed boy before him. If his guess was correct, this should be Dai Mubai.

'I never expected him to come looking for death two years earlier than in the original story.'

"Brother Fu Ye, I'm going to teach this disrespectful bastard a lesson!" With that, Wu Ling moved to strike.

"Let me handle it. I'll destroy him."

Fu Ye gently patted her head, then turned his icy gaze toward Dai Mubai.

"Tap. Tap."

His footsteps were light, yet an overwhelming pressure radiated from his body.

"Brother Mubai… I'm scared…"

Hearing the trembling voice of the beauty in his arms, Dai Mubai smirked and callously shoved her away with a burst of soul power.

"Ah—!"

How could an ordinary girl withstand the force of a Soul Grandmaster? Her frail body crashed into the corner of the hotel, knees bloodied from the impact. Fear filled her tearful eyes.

"B-Brother Mubai… I left my fiancé for you…"

The woman in the corner sounded utterly broken, but Dai Mubai didn't spare her a glance.

"Whether you abandoned him or not is your business. You and I were just having fun. Now, you're worthless to me."

After delivering this cold remark, he licked his lips and glared venomously at Fu Ye as he approached.

"If you want to live, hand over the two girls beside you. If I'm in a good mood later, I might even let you have my leftovers."

Fu Ye listened, then slowly covered his face with one hand.

"He..Hehe…Haha…"

Fu Ye was laughing. Laughing at the sheer audacity of Dai Mubai's words.

"At just thirteen years old, you're already bullying men and women in this city? You're truly scum."

Perhaps Fu Ye's soft-spoken tone made Dai Mubai mistake him for weak.

"Hahaha!! If you have power, you can do whatever you want! Let me make this clear—there's no one in Suotuo City I, Dai Mubai, don't dare to mess with!"

Malice and greed burned in Dai Mubai's eyes. To him, people like Fu Ye were nothing but pretentious fools.

He stepped closer, yanking at Fu Ye's sleeve with a sneer.

"Judging by your clothes, you're either a noble from some backwater kingdom or a rich merchant. Just surrender those two women, and I'll—"

Before he could finish, Fu Ye's hand clamped around his throat, lifting him effortlessly into the air.

At this moment, Fu Ye had already decided—this trash would be erased.

After all, he had tamed the unruly Dark Demon Evil God Tiger into an obedient pet. How dare this stray dog, abandoned by the Star Luo royal family, bark in front of him?

His grip was like an iron vise, crushing Dai Mubai's windpipe.

"Crack."

Fu Ye tightened his hold. Dai Mubai's face turned purple, panic flooding his bulging eyes. He couldn't even summon his martial spirit under the young man's suffocating aura.

A faint smirk curled Fu Ye's lips as he watched Dai Mubai struggle.

"ROOOAAAR—!!!"

The next instant, an earth-shaking dragon's roar exploded in Dai Mubai's spiritual sea!

A white shadow was forcibly expelled from his body—a winged white tiger, trembling under Fu Ye's gaze.

"Y-You… the Dragon God?! Impossible! You were supposed to be—"

Before it could finish, Fu Ye sealed the creature into his system space.

This was the divine remnant of the Third Class God, the Evil Eye Saint King, hidden deep within Dai Mubai's soul. Born from the Evil-Eyed White Tiger lineage of the Star Luo royalty, it awakened every thousand years to seek an heir.

But to Fu Ye? It was nothing more than dog food for the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger.

"Crack."

His grip tightened further. Dai Mubai's face darkened, limbs twitching helplessly. Just as death loomed, Fu Ye hurled him into the marble floor.

"BOOM!"

"Crack. Crack. Crack."

The sickening sound of shattering bones echoed as half of Dai Mubai's body embedded into the ground, jagged debris piercing his flesh.

"Cough—! Hah… Hah…!"

Though agony wracked his body, his first instinct was to gasp for air.

"AAAH—!! Hiss…!"

His screams sent the hotel staff and the discarded girl collapsing in terror.

Wu Ling buried herself in Xiao Wu's arms, but Xiao Wu herself frowned slightly. In her eyes, scum like this deserved death, not torment.

[Note: Dai Mubai is the type to use and discard women without remorse. While the protagonist also collects beauties, he at least ensures their safety and status. Don't call me hypocritical on this point.]

"Hmph."

Fu Ye pressed his shoe against Dai Mubai's whimpering mouth, the perfect picture of fear and submission.

"I despise being threatened most in this world. And you're the second fool who dared to lay eyes on my women."

Mockery dripped from his gaze. To Fu Ye, Dai Mubai was already irrelevant—just a side character in a story that had long since strayed from the original plot.

"BOOM!"

"CRACK!"

His kick snapped Dai Mubai's spine. Fu Ye couldn't fathom how such a shameless, womanizing thug could ever be redeemed into a protagonist's ally in the novel.

'Tch. Too bad this isn't that story.'

"GYAAAH—!!!"

Dai Mubai's scream tore through the air.

"Buzz."

Fu Ye's right hand morphed into a dazzling nine-colored dragon claw, its scales a masterpiece of intricate, brutal beauty.

An invisible force seized Dai Mubai, wrenching at his very soul.

"AAARGH—!!!"

His howls echoed through the streets, but Fu Ye showed no mercy.

A radiant orb of light hovered above the dragon claw—the essence of Dai Mubai's Evil-Eyed White Tiger martial soul, its regal aura now ripe for the taking.

'Good things should never be left in the hands of self-righteous protagonists.'

Ma Hongjun, Dai Mubai, Oscar—how could brothel-hopping degenerates like these ever be heroes?

Especially that fat pig Ma Hongjun. If his Evil Fire Phoenix required venting at six years old…

'Disgusting.'

Fu Ye glanced down at Dai Mubai, lips curling in contempt.

"What's wrong, Young Master Dai? Kowtow three times, and I might just spare you."

[Note: Adjusted Sword Douluo's age to 76 and Tang Xiao's to 71 based on feedback. This should fit better.]
