The situation in the two Limit battlefields could only be described as earth-shattering. Ordinary soul masters below Level 97 didn't even have the qualifications to approach.

However, unlike the stalemate on the Tian Hun Empire's front, the Star Luo Empire's battlefield was completely one-sided.

Even with White Tiger Duke Dai Hao's military talent, the Star Luo Empire—lacking unparalleled strength—couldn't withstand the overwhelming might of transcendent power. Moreover, Dai Hao himself wasn't exactly a genius of unparalleled military strategy.

In truth, this had been the case for thousands of years of warfare up to the present day.

After all, this was the era of soul-guided weaponry.

It was an obvious truth that falling behind would result in being beaten—a lesson easily learned after enduring such punishment. Yet, there was one faction that had consistently interfered, causing the three nations of Douluo Continent to cling to ancient cultivation methods for millennia.

That faction was none other than Shrek Academy.

Though the Sun Moon Empire excelled in its lower and mid-tier forces, for thousands of years, it had lacked absolute martial power.

And because the Sun Moon Empire operated under a feudal monarchy system, Shrek had opportunities to threaten the emperor with overwhelming force, leading to a prolonged stalemate between the Sun Moon Empire and the three Douluo nations.

But Shrek was also hypocritical.

While they meddled in inter-imperial battles, they refused to outright help the three Douluo nations destroy the Sun Moon Empire. Instead, they maintained a facade of balance while claiming that Shrek was merely an academy and shouldn't interfere in continental affairs.

They were both manipulative and self-righteous, truly inheriting the essence of Tang San, the Sea God.

But now, times had changed. With the support of two unparalleled powerhouses from the Holy Spirit Sect, the Sun Moon Empire had suddenly erased the advantages of Douluo Continent.

And Shrek would finally have to swallow the bitter fruit it had sown over the years.

As a large group of people approached him, Dragon God Douluo Mu En sighed helplessly.

"Alas, it has finally come to this.

Let's go. Let's meet with the people of the Star Luo Empire."

With that, Mu En transformed into a streak of light and arrived at the reception room of the outer court.

The Sea God Pavilion was not a place outsiders could casually enter.

"Lord Dragon God, please save the Star Luo Empire!"

No sooner had Mu En entered the reception room than he saw a fat, oily man sobbing with genuine tears streaming down his face, pleading desperately.

Mu En had witnessed such scenes when he was younger, standing beside his master. In the past, he took pride in the fact that the empires of Douluo Continent sought aid from Shrek Academy. Even after becoming the head of the Sea God Pavilion, Mu En had faced similar situations. But now, what was once a source of honor felt like a thorn in his throat, leaving him deeply disgusted.

Because Shrek Academy was in an awkward transitional phase, and Mu En himself was nearing the end of his life.

Seeing that Mu En ignored him, the fat official from the Star Luo Empire—though feeling slightly awkward—was no stranger to shamelessness. Boldly stepping forward, he clung tightly to Mu En's leg.

"Lord Dragon God, you can't abandon the Star Luo Empire! For so many years, we've provided countless resources to Shrek, and so many of our graduates are from Shrek. You can't ignore them!"

If it had been a beautiful woman clinging to his leg, Mu En might have let it slide. But just as he tried to pull away, he realized that this fat official seemed to possess some peculiar technique, gripping him firmly. Unable to shake him off without causing a scene, Mu En's expression darkened further.

"I understand.

Now release me immediately, or I'll take action!"

Only after sensing the anger in Mu En's tone did the fat official reluctantly let go, chuckling nervously.

At this moment, other high-ranking members of Shrek Academy arrived late. After all, the matter of the Star Luo Empire was too significant to be taken lightly.

Some of Shrek's leaders even wanted to reject this plea for help. Everyone at Shrek knew that the academy's lofty status wasn't maintained by the long-lost original Seven Monsters of Shrek but by successive generations of Sea God Pavilion masters.

They were afraid of the Holy Spirit Sect's unparalleled Douluos!

"Lord Dragon God, perhaps we should set out now? Every moment we delay, more of Douluo's brave warriors will perish on the battlefield," the fat official urged cautiously.

Mu En frowned.

Though the fat man spoke respectfully, he kept using moral coercion to pressure Mu En. At his age, how could Mu En not see through this? Yet, Shrek, which had always prided itself on justice, found it impossible to refuse.

Once they refused, Shrek's reputation on the Douluo Continent would be ruined.

After all, a person who had done good deeds their entire life would be forgiven for nothing, but committing a single misdeed would erase all their previous good deeds and brand them as evil.

Mu En originally intended to head straight to the battlefield. After living such a long life, he had nothing left to hold onto.

The reason for his hesitation now was that he sensed Xuan Zi, within the Sea God Pavilion, had entered a critical stage of breakthrough. If he weren't here to protect him during this crucial period, something might happen, and Shrek would truly collapse.

This breakthrough wouldn't take long—Mu En estimated it would only take a day or two. He was about to decline politely when Yan Shaozhe, thinking Mu En was unwilling to go, chimed in with his own thoughts, perfectly aligning with his intentions.

"Honored guest of the Star Luo Empire, surely you can see that my teacher is in poor condition. Even if he went to the battlefield, he wouldn't be of much help. Why don't you seek assistance from the nearby Tian Xing Academy instead? This time, Shrek truly cannot assist."

Mu En's expression froze. Though he knew his disciple was narrow-minded, how could he say such things in public?

But the fat official's next revelation struck Mu En like a bolt of lightning.

The fat official, wearing a pitiful expression and speaking humbly, said:

"Honored One, I'd love to do that, but Tian Xing Academy is already assisting the Tian Hun Empire. The Sun Moon Empire has gone mad this time—they've deployed the equivalent of four Limit Douluos across the battlefields, including ours.

If we hadn't reached our limit, we wouldn't have come to Shrek for help. Please, Lord Dragon God, for the sake of all living beings on Douluo Continent, lend your aid to the Star Luo Empire."

Yan Shaozhe, of course, didn't believe the fat official's claims. Four Limit Douluos? Lies had limits!

Moreover, Yan Shaozhe detected a subtle implication in the official's words—that Tian Xing Academy now held a higher status than Shrek! Otherwise, why hadn't they come to Shrek first for help?

Yan Shaozhe was about to retort when Mu En abruptly stopped him.

"Enough, Shaozhe! I haven't even spoken yet, and here you are rambling on. Do you still respect me at all?"
