"Challenge a Dou Huang?" Yafei gasped in astonishment before hesitating. "Master, are you saying you're giving this to me?"

"Smart girl," Mu Chen said with a smile, playfully flicking Yafei's nose.

"But Master, I can't even get close to it, let alone use it," Yafei said worriedly.

"Don't worry. With me here, you'll absorb the Heavenly Flame just fine," Mu Chen reassured her with a confident smile. He flicked his finger again, retrieving three items from his storage ring. "These are for you: the red bottle contains the Blood Lotus Pill, which will form a protective blood shield around your body. The blue box holds Ice Spirit Cold Spring, which will temporarily protect your organs from the flame's damage. Finally, this gray stone is the Spirit Storage Gem, where you will eventually store the flame."

The materials for the Blood Lotus Pill, along with the Ice Spirit Cold Spring, had been acquired by Mu Chen in the Douluo Continent. The Spirit Storage Gem, however, was something he had obtained from Yao Chen under duress.

Yafei swallowed the Blood Lotus Pill. As the cold energy spread through her body, it formed a thin blood-red membrane over her organs and meridians. Soon, a reddish liquid began oozing from her pores, covering her entirely and transforming her into a figure that resembled a blood-covered warrior encased in armor.

Yafei approached the Bone-Chilling Flame, her body shielded by the blood membrane. Though she felt the intense heat, the membrane absorbed the worst of it. As she moved closer, she noticed the membrane constantly regenerating to resist the flame's destructive power—a fascinating sight.

Sensing Yafei's approach, the Bone-Chilling Flame flared violently, its temperature spiking further.

"Hurry up!" Mu Chen urged.

Yafei quickened her steps and plunged her hand into the flame, grasping a writhing, molten mass resembling liquid magma.

"Swallow it," Mu Chen commanded.

Yafei hesitated, staring at the fiery, molten substance in her hand. It looked like magma—how could she possibly consume it?

"Hurry!" Mu Chen pressed.

Yafei glanced at him, remembering how he had always taken care of her. Trusting him completely, she opened the blue box and drank the Ice Spirit Cold Spring in one gulp.

The icy liquid sent chills through her body, forming frost on her hair and eyebrows. Fueled by this protection, she closed her eyes and swallowed the molten core of the flame.

The moment the flame entered her body, it felt as though she had ingested a fiery dragon. Ice and fire clashed within her, and the excruciating sensation left her trembling.

"Start cultivating!" Mu Chen reminded her.

Yafei sat down cross-legged and began to circulate her Qi, following the prescribed technique.

Suddenly, a soft sound drew Mu Chen's attention. He turned to see that the Ice Spirit Cold Spring's protective effect was fading. Yafei's clothes, unable to withstand the flame's heat, had been completely incinerated, revealing her flawless, curvaceous figure.

Mu Chen's breath quickened at the sight of her perfect body, a mixture of astonishment and primal reaction. However, when he noticed her pained expression, he quickly regained his composure.
