Chapter 111: Chapter 112 – Qian Renxue's Terror! The Angel God
Yet, long after Qian Renxue's voice fell, no response came.
She suddenly realized something was off.
There were no footsteps inside her sleeping quarters.
Then... who had opened the door just now?
Qian Renxue warily stared at her bedroom entrance—the door led directly into the central hallway of her palace chambers.
She called out, "Which elder is it?"
No answer.
Her frown deepened.
Her senses wouldn't lie to her.
She had clearly heard the door open.
Then why couldn't she see anyone?
She called again, "Is it you?"
Someone capable of entering her sleeping quarters silently and refusing to respond…
A woman's silhouette flashed in her mind.
Only she would do something like this.
Qian Renxue's expression turned cold with annoyance. She scoffed, "I don't need your concern. You should just leave."
Creaaak—!
Her bedroom door slowly swung open.
A figure walked in, catching Qian Renxue completely off guard.
She immediately sprang into alertness, her voice sharp: "Who are you? How did you get in?!"
At the same time, her soul power surged to its peak.
The man—Lin Fan—glanced around her bedroom, a faint nostalgic smile playing at his lips. "No matter the world," he mused, "girls' rooms always have their own flair."
Then he turned to her and added, "Don't you agree… my princess?"
Qian Renxue's expression turned glacial. She opened her mouth to respond—
Bzzz—!
A sudden droning rang through her head.
She clutched her temples and collapsed onto her bed, pain distorting her delicate features.
In her mind, a crimson world burst into view.
Fragments of memories surged through her consciousness like a broken floodgate.
That familiar heat erupted again throughout her body.
Even if she were a fool, she now understood the truth—
The source of this heat... was the man in front of her!
Yet, she didn't know him.
So why did his presence feel so... familiar?
And why was her heart torn between a strange intimacy—and deep loathing?
She didn't know how to face this mysterious stranger.
Lin Fan stood with arms crossed, watching Qian Renxue writhing in agony, a glint of ice in his eyes.
"Hmph. The Angel God, is it?"
Almost as if reacting to his words, her briefly stabilizing mental state was suddenly torn apart by a renewed burst of agony.
"Aaaagh!!!"
Qian Renxue clutched her head, rolling across the bed in torment.
The burning in her body and the searing pain in her mind felt as if they would tear her apart.
Lin Fan's gaze turned colder.
Trying to expel his will from her consciousness... right in front of him?
How dare they!
He was the Zerg Overmind—a sovereign of the Swarm. In the vastness of the universe, even advanced civilizations would either bow to him... or face annihilation!
And yet some lowly upper god from a backwater planet dared to resist his will?
Dared to steal away his Queen of Blades?
Crimson light blazed in Lin Fan's eyes—like molten energy, it burst forth and enveloped Qian Renxue's trembling body.
Buzz—!
Suddenly, she felt a mysterious force entering her mind.
It felt strangely familiar… but also carried an overwhelming sense of domination!
The burning within her vanished instantly.
She collapsed onto the bed, gasping for air.
Meanwhile, Lin Fan's consciousness had already invaded her mental world.
Within her sea of mind, two realms existed—
One bathed in crimson blood and carnage.
The other radiating sacred, resplendent golden light—shining like a divine sanctuary—slowly eroding the bloody domain.
Before Lin Fan stood a man with six pairs of dazzling golden wings, his gaze cold and distant.
Lin Fan sneered, lifting himself into the air to meet this figure eye to eye.
He tilted his head and asked mockingly, "The Angel God? Funny... I thought you were dead."
The divine figure with golden eyes stared at Lin Fan with calm detachment, showing no sign of anger.
With a voice like a heavenly bell, the Angel God replied, "It's your heart that has died. The faith of the Angel God is eternal."
His words carried a strange resonance, like a divine echo descending from the heavens—ethereal, yet oppressive.
Lin Fan raised an eyebrow. "Mental charm, huh? Pathetic."
He smirked. "Who would've thought—your so-called righteous Angel God would resort to such dirty tricks behind the scenes. Tsk, tsk."
As he spoke, a red gleam flashed in his eyes—an intense beam shot forth, striking directly into the Angel God's gaze.
The divine figure flinched, if only for a moment, before glaring back—visibly annoyed.
Lin Fan's grin turned wicked. "What's wrong? Heart racing yet?"
"Impudent wretch!"
The Angel God spat out the words, clearly embarrassed and furious.
With a wave of his hands, a vast golden ocean surged forth—waves of blinding divine light roared toward Lin Fan like a heavenly tsunami!
BOOM—!
Within the golden deluge came waves of holiness, with whispers of sacred hymns ringing through the air.
Lin Fan scoffed. "Again with this crap?"
With a wave of his hand, an equally massive crimson tide surged forward—brimming with negative emotion and killing intent—crashing directly into the holy flood.
"Don't forget... this is Qian Renxue's spiritual world. Anything you can do—so can I."
"But—"
"What I can do… you can't."
Crimson light flickered in Lin Fan's pupils as he suddenly shot forward.
In an instant, a set of black-and-violet armor wrapped around his body.
A blood-red spear, ancient and terrifying, began to form in his hands.
Its tip gleamed with a deadly sharpness and bone-chilling light.
The Angel God's expression changed drastically.
He could feel it—the aura of death emanating from that spear!
"Impossible!"
The Angel God cried out in disbelief.
"A power capable of killing a god… How could something like that exist in the lower realms?!"
BOOM—!
Lin Fan charged forward, his spear tearing through the golden tidal wave as he drove it mercilessly into the body of the Angel God!
Splat!
Golden blood sprayed through the air in all directions.
Lin Fan disdainfully slapped the Angel God's face.
"A god? You're nothing special."
"You're not even a complete remnant of consciousness. But even if you were alive—if you stood before me in full form—I would still kill you."
"You—!"
The Angel God stared at the spear lodged in her chest in disbelief. A dense, black energy surged from the wound, relentlessly tearing at her divine form.
At the same time, the divine essence within her was rapidly dissipating, the overwhelming sense of weakness causing her body to fade from existence.
BZZZZT!!!
A radiant golden orb suddenly materialized in the shattered space!
