Somehow, the second Ryuk's eyes crossed the decision of both skills, its activation process instantly entered his head, but somehow, he felt a pang of fear.

Just as he suspected, a notification appeared before Ryuk's face:

[Host will be advised to be exceedingly careful when activating the following Nanoskills, as they have been observed to possess Dark Energy Constructs.]

[Temporary inability of movement and mental corruption are possible effects of overuse of Dark energy.-related power...]

Uncle Bob had already made it known to Ryuk that he had simply used the Anunnaki's template design to craft Ryuk's body. Out of that template design is the Anunnaki's skills, one which even Uncle Bob had no idea what it would be at all.

But now, looking at the skill names and descriptions, Ryuk could sense a bit of dark power from the Anunnaki race.

Most likely, the Anunnaki race are an evil race!

Still, that didn't stop him at all from going for a try immediately.

"Activate Nano-Reaper!" he ordered, and in the next instant, Ryuk's hand involuntarily stretched outward as he watched a powerful wave of energy emanate from his right arm, burning away his right sleeve up to his shoulder.

In the next instant, bizarre cracks of red opened on Ryuk's right hand's flesh, and some metallic-like liquid began dripping out of Ryuk's body, all gathering in his hands.

In the next instant, the liquid began calling over each other on Ryuk's arm and quickly solidifying, and with jaws dropping to the ground, Ryuk watched as a humongous scythe appeared in his hands.

The Nano-Reaper scythe is 2 meters tall, with a long, sleek metal handle that shines in colours of white and crimson. The metal seems to move slightly, like it's alive, as tiny glowing dots shift across its surface.

At the top of the scythe is a large crescent-like curved blade, that looks like it's made of dark shimmering energy.

The edge of the blade is razor-sharp and has a glowing crimson light around it. The most intimidating feature was the mists on the scythe, which formed dark mist that trailed from the blade as it swung around.

This mist emanated from the weapon's core, right in the middle of the handle, giving it an aura of death and despair.

As Ryuk consciously swung the scythe outward, the mist formed a cloud of darkness that followed the blade's movements, and suddenly, three seats before Ryuk all had their tops sliced into halves and fell to the ground.

Ryuk's jaw instantly dropped.

Somehow, even when he swung, he didn't even feel the blade touch the seats, only the mist, and yet they were sliced into halves.

If the mist around the scythe alone, was enough to cut the chairs, then just what would happen if the blade itself touched a body?!

"What kind of power is this?" Ryuk couldn't help but wonder, but his excitement was short-lived as a notification before his gaze.

[Mana: -5!]

[Endurance: -10!]

The system brought Ryuk out of his excitement.

"So it drains mana too, and also my endurance. That means based on my curent power level, I will probably only be able to keep this scythe for a minute or two before I'll have no choice but to put it away..." Ryuk muttered as he flicked the scythe around his hands once more, before deactivating the skill, and he watched curiously as the scythe turned back into metallic liquid, and all quickly rolled back into the opened space in Ryuk's arms, disappearing into his flesh, which soon closed itself up, and once more, Ryuk's normal fleshy hands, that seemed as harmless as possible, appeared.

"This is really interesting..." Ryuk said with calm excitement.

Somehow, he couldn't wait to use that scythe in a real fight and feel its true power.

Looking at the remaining skill, Ryuk stared long at it, before ultimately deciding not to use the skill.

The Nano-Umbral Reaper ability gave Ryuk quite the chills.

If something had made his alarm bells ring so hard, it would probably be foolish for him to use it anyway.

So indeed, Ryuk decided not to.

"I won't be using this skill unless absolutely necessary. Somehow, I feel the transformation would be too drastic, and there will be consequences..." he thought.

Having checked and become familiar with his new power, Ryuk settled back down on his seat, before closing his eyes.

Immediately, his consciousness faded into himself as he arrived in the green grassy world.

It was none other than Ryuk's pet world, and currently at the centre of it was a creature wrapped up, to the size of a small rock.

"Isha..." Ryuk whispered as he arrived before Isha, his hands reaching for her white scales.

He couldn't help but notice, right now, there were some weird runic symbols starting to form all over Isha's scaled body, brimming with an elegant blue light.

"There's so much energy in her..."

Ryuk could easily feel the energy in Isha's every single cell from his touch, and he knew well all of her cells were currently stretched to their limit from the intense energy within her.

And somehow, the intense stretching ended up creating the runes, which also began to absorb this abundant energy into them.

Ryuk had no idea what these runes did, but since they were formed from Isha's body, then they couldn't be counterproductive.

Somehow, he could see the runes absorbing the abundant power into Isha, and he knew well, it would only be a matter of time before Isha's bloatedness disappeared. Discover hidden content at empire

"Another slumber. Rest well Isha..." Ryuk murmured silently as he rubbed Isha's scales, before rising up and fading away from the pet world, leaving the slumbering Ice serpent alone in the Pet World.
