Chapter 205: Chapter 205: A Bold Proposal!

Chapter 205: A Bold Proposal!

"Huff…"

"What an exhilarating battle!"

The battle between Karl and Trunks had come to an end. Both reverted to their normal states, feeling immensely satisfied at this moment. Their strength was already quite evenly matched, and now, having fought with all their might, they experienced the thrill of unlocking their potential and elevating their skills.

"Indeed!" Trunks agreed. "But I feel like we're approaching a bottleneck. While there's still some room for improvement, we're too familiar with each other's moves, and we haven't even been close to a life-or-death scenario. If we continue like this, there won't be much progress left to make!"

Trunks sensed his improvement slowing down. His rapid advancement before might have been due to accumulated potential, and the incident with Goku Black had brought out his hidden power. However, now that this potential had translated into fighting power, he naturally started to plateau, no longer progressing as quickly as he did when he first arrived in the realm of the Gods of Destruction.

Karl felt the same way but had no effective solution. Within the Seventh Universe, their power levels were already quite formidable, and there were few who could truly pose a threat to them. While there were still some stronger than them, most were acquaintances who didn't offer enough pressure to push them forward.

At that moment, Mu Chuan appeared nearby with Instant Transmission. "It looks like you two are in search of a more thrilling battle?"

Trunks and Karl nodded. "We've hit a bottleneck. No matter how much we fight each other, we're too familiar with each other's techniques, and we're no longer making much progress. The power gap with you, Boss, is too wide, so there's no way to enter a do-or-die state and truly improve!"

The two of them echoed each other's thoughts.

"I see…" Mu Chuan began to contemplate.

"If you're looking for a more intense battle, I might have a suggestion," he murmured to himself, not paying too much attention to Karl and Trunks standing by. Then, he summoned everyone present, gathering all Saiyans and Earth warriors alike.

"In the past half year here in the realm of the Gods of Destruction, everyone has made substantial progress. But continuing to train like this is somewhat dull, and the rate of improvement is slowing down," he said. "So, I have a proposal… how about we go out together and find suitable opponents?"

Everyone was taken aback by Mu Chuan's suggestion. Seek out suitable opponents? In the entire universe, are there even any fitting adversaries left? Is there truly such an existence?

The Earth warriors looked confused but thrilled, not fully grasping the dangers of the universe but eager nonetheless. Meanwhile, the Saiyans fell silent, pondering who might serve as worthy opponents, especially now that their powers had reached such high levels.

In the next second, Axianna's pupils dilated as she thought of something. "Boss, you don't mean… the Frieza Force?"

With Axianna's speculation, the Saiyans shivered involuntarily, realizing that the universe didn't contain just their formidable group—there was another force out there. And that force would be terrifying, led by a figure renowned across the cosmos as an emperor, one whose mere identity induced fear. Despite their significant power, none of them felt ready to face Frieza, that monstrous figure.

Most thought that only Mu Chuan could be qualified to confront him.

"Frieza? Who's that?" Yamcha and others exchanged puzzled glances, unfamiliar with this cosmic threat. If not for following the Saiyans, they wouldn't even be here in the realm of the Gods of Destruction, let alone know about such matters.

"Frieza is a cosmic demon known as the Emperor of the Universe!" someone explained. "He belongs to an extremely evil race that has ruled over the universe for countless years, controlling almost every planet and region within it. The Frieza Force is essentially a mercenary group—they'll do anything for money, often seizing resource-rich planets to sell to others."

The Earth warriors looked bewildered, shocked to learn that such a terrifying figure existed in the universe, even more formidable than the Supreme Kai.

As others explained further, the Earth warriors learned not only of Frieza's existence but also of the adversarial relationship between Frieza and the Saiyans. Understanding this made them feel strangely relieved, realizing they weren't the primary target of Frieza's wrath.

Meanwhile, the Saiyans fell silent for a while before finally voicing their enthusiasm.

"Let's do it! Who cares if he's the emperor of the universe? As long as Boss is with us, there's no need to fear. Even if we can't beat Frieza, Boss can take him on. And if we can't handle Frieza, we can at least deal with his subordinates!"

The Saiyans grew more excited at the thought, eager to seek revenge and experience the thrill of a genuine life-or-death battle. Only in such dire confrontations could they further enhance their combat skills.

Seeing the excitement of the group, Mu Chuan felt a thrill as well. However, he refrained from dampening their spirits with the reality—only he truly understood how much the Frieza Force had evolved over time. Frieza's recent transformations had brought him to a terrifying new level, and he now surrounded himself with powerful monsters, each exuding a daunting aura. The strength of the other Saiyans here might not be enough to confront them.

It was precisely for this reason that Mu Chuan proposed such a bold idea. He was itching for a real challenge, and with Frieza having become so much stronger, the Frieza Force would be the perfect whetstone to sharpen his blade. Only by honing himself against such an opponent would he stand a chance in the upcoming Martial Arts Tournament.
