Dragon Ball: Escaping from Planet Vegeta

Chapter 103: Chapter 86 Five years! Another five years! (Part 2)

At the same time.

Planet Razer.

More than five years had passed since Talot and his group found Raditz and began teaching him their training methods. From that moment on, they adopted a strategy of covert sabotage.

While enhancing their own strength, they have also been creating troubles for Frieza.

Over those five years, Talot, Salari, and Raditz experienced tremendous growth in strength. Raditz, in particular, made astonishing progress. Starting with a power level of just 900, he fully adapted to fifty times gravity within the first year and made significant advances in Ki training, advancing his power level to 7,500.

During the second and third year, he succeeded in mastering one hundred times gravity. Under Talot's guidance, he achieved exceptional control over his aura, honing his abilities to a fine degree, and his power level climbed to 25,000.

As Raditz had claimed early on, he would surpass Salari within three years—and he did just that.

By the fourth and fifth year, Raditz's growth continued, though not at the same breakneck pace. His power level eventually reached 43,000.

It surpassed 40,000, but if he fought at full strength, he could unleash a power level of 45,000.

What about Salari?

By the time Raditz hit 25,000 during his third year, Salari had already surpassed 40,000. Now, her power level stood at 58,000.

Salari truly embodied the "strong independent woman" archetype. Despite Raditz pushing himself to the absolute limit, he remained far behind her.

When the two of them get serious, they mean business.

However, there is one point of disparity: Raditz had yet to undergo Unlock Potential. If he were to unlock his potential, his strength would undoubtedly surpass Salari's current level.

Unless Salari underwent a second Unlock Potential, she might really fall behind.

This was why Talot didn't dare suggest it. Of course, it's not because he's worried about Raditz's strength skyrocketing past theirs, but rather because a girl's self-esteem can sometimes be more fragile.

If not for this, Talot would have taken Raditz to Planet Namek when he once again went there two years ago and asked the Grand Elder to help unlock Raditz's potential.

It's worth mentioning that the trip to Planet Namek that time was to assist the Namekians in fending off a crisis.

It wasn't a man-made crisis, but a massive planet that had veered off its original orbit. The gravitational pull of three enormous stars disrupted its path, sending it hurtling toward Namek.

Even with Ragar's strength—far beyond his peak from years prior—he couldn't handle the crisis alone.

Thus, the Grand Elder reached out to Talot.

When Talot learned of the impending collision, he agreed without hesitation to help.

In the end, the group worked together to completely obliterate the massive planet.

You might think, "Isn't a power level over 10,000 enough to destroy planets?"

Yes, it is. But there are levels to planet destruction.

Destroying Earth with such power level might not be difficult. However, destroying a planet ten times Earth's size, a hundred times, or even a thousand times larger? That's a whole different story.

Through this battle, the Grand Elder made an important decision—to create another true Warrior-type Namekian.

That Namekian was Nail.

From that moment, Talot understood why Ragar didn't appear in the original storyline.

Without Talot's intervention, Ragar would have perished alongside the massive planet while protecting Namek.

Then, in Age 744, the Grand Elder created Nail.

Thus, Nail became the lone Warrior-type Namekian.

Because of Talot's involvement, the course of fate shifted. Ragar survived, and Nail was created nearly two years earlier.

As for Talot's current strength?

His power level had reached 190,000!

In the original work, Goku used a 2x Kaio-ken to reach a power level of 180,000 against Ginyu on Planet Namek.

Over five years, he only managed to increase his power level by 100,000! It may seem like a small amount, but it was the limit of what Talot could achieve.

On average, he improved by 20,000 power level per year, training tirelessly day and night. He also kept honing his combat skills by engaging with Frieza Force soldiers.

The only regret he harbored was not having a worthy opponent who could push him to his limits.

....

In the central region of Planet Razer, over a vast lake, two figures clashed at supersonic speeds.

The sheer force of their collision stirred up massive waves, disrupting the once-still surface of the water.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Deafening explosions echoed across the lake as they kept fighting.

The speed at which the two figures collided grew increasingly faster, and the shockwaves they emitted sliced several deep gashes across the water's surface.

BOOM!!!

Another thunderous explosion rang out.

Following this collision, both Talot and Raditz simultaneously retreated, coming to a halt above the turbulent lake.

"Still want to continue, Raditz?" Talot casually assumed a fighting stance, his tone relaxed.

For him, this level of combat was nothing more than a warm-up.

However, nowadays, ordinary enemies couldn't even serve as a warm-up. Only Raditz and Salari could occasionally provide him with some excitement.

Raditz, on the other hand, had already pushed himself to his absolute limit.

"It's really frustrating. For over five years, I haven't stopped training for a single moment, yet you're still far ahead of me."

"But the fight's just getting started! Come on—let's keep going!"

Raditz, brimming with fighting spirit, was unwilling to end the battle just yet.

Every time he fought with Talot, he would experience significant growth.

With a white aura flaring around him, his aura erupted and he sprinted towards Talot once more.

"Alright then, I'll accompany you in a satisfying battle."

He adjusted his power level to match Raditz and then rushed at Raditz.

BOOM!!!

With a thunderous explosion, the battle began again. Talot and Raditz grappled with each other, engaging in a thrilling hand-to-hand combat.

Facing Talot's close-combat assault, Raditz responded with everything he had, not daring to be the slightest bit careless.

Although his strength was inferior to Talot's, Raditz's fighting style was constantly improving, with an endless stream of new techniques, which was why Talot was willing to fight him.

After dozens of close combat exchanges, Talot could feel a powerful surge of energy radiating from Raditz.

"I've been expecting this move of yours," Talot said with a faint smile as he swiftly retreated.

In the blink of an eye, Raditz tilted his head back and let out a thunderous shout.A powerful aura erupted around him, creating a huge whirlpool on the lake's surface.

"Don't even think about running! Take this!" Raditz shouted as he unleashed a barrage of energy blasts.

Hundreds of energy blasts rained down. While their individual power wasn't great, their trajectories were extremely tricky.

Talot weaved through the onslaught, and finally took the initiative to counter, swatting away each energy blast.

But the attack wasn't over yet. Raditz raised his hand and unleashed a powerful energy cannon, its power incredibly fierce.

Seeing this, Talot also unleashed an energy cannon in retaliation!

BOOM!!!!

As the two energy blasts collided, another violent explosion occurred.

The fight grew even fiercer as Talot and Raditz ascended from the lake into the sky. Their attacks became more powerful, their speed increasing.

This planet was a primitive one, with no intelligent life yet born, so the two could fight without any concerns.

The battle grew fiercer, and their clash was clearly visible to Salari and Tights, who were preparing lunch by the lakeside in the distance.

Since they arrived on this planet for a break, fights like this had become routine, occurring nearly every other day.

Salari and Tights had long grown accustomed to the battles between Talot and Raditz.

Every time Raditz improved his strength a bit, he would challenge Talot.

In truth, it was just Raditz seeking a beating, exhausting himself in battle with Talot and then using the recovery process to improve himself.

"Brother Talot's gotten even stronger since he fought me two days ago. Raditz is going to lose even more miserably this time," Salari remarked, observing the fight.

Although she wasn't the one fighting, she could gauge the situation clearly.

"You guys, all you ever do is train and fight. Can't you take a moment to just enjoy life?" Tights complained while eating the delicious food she had made.

Salari chuckled at her words. "You've said this many times before, Sister Tights. It's all because we're Saiyans."

"Yeah, yeah," Tights replied dismissively.

After all these years of living together, they had become greatly familiar with each other.
