[Silver's Pov]

When I first saw him I was shocked.

He was a young man who was being surrounded by the members of our Red Ribbon Army.

Despite that, he does not show signs of fear.

Instead, it seems like he welcomes a fight if it comes down to it.

Because of his composure, I realized that he would be able to easily take care of our soldiers if they fought. So I have to stop that from happening.

So I walked towards him.

Just like how I recognized his power He also seems to realise how strong I am. So he does not start a fight.

Then later I realised that he was here to find out about what happened to his dad.

I wanted to help him.

As someone who grew up in the army I have friends that help me get through tough times but I also never saw my parent's faces.

So I somehow felt sympathetic to him.

I agreed to help him find out about what happened to his father but the results were not ideal.

His father died during one of the clashes against the world's military.

It was a small clash where we won.

The battle was something we celebrated because it was the battle that made the Red Ribbon Army known as a formidable force that could not be messed with.

There are only a few casualties in that battle but unluckily for him, his father was among them.

After finding out about that he seems dejected.

I was thinking that I have to fight him to the death if he started out cursing the army because of his father's demise.

I like the kid but if Commander Red found out that I let a kid that bad-mouthed the army walk away without a scratch my head would have rolled.

But he didn't display any kind of anger.

He even stated that he wanted to join the army despite my warning about the dangers that it poses.

[Third Person Pov]

A gentle knock on a door was heard.

"Comes in." the man with red hair said as he sat on a chair while patting his cat.

"Excuse me, Sir."

Silver walked into the room while having his head down.

"Silver. What do you want? Can't you see I am busy?" the red-haired man said.

Silver could see that he was not doing anything important and was just lazing around but he could not tell that since the red-haired man was not someone that he could offend.

"There is a powerful warrior that wants to join our organization." Silver said.

"Powerful?"

The red-haired man was intrigued.

"How powerful is he?"He asked.

"I am not certain but he is almost as powerful as me," Silver replied.

"I see."

He seems to be a little disappointed.

He knows Silver is a powerful Soldier but in the end, someone with Silver's level of strength is still not comparable to his strongest soldier, a man called Blue.

"Did you bring the document that has the information about him here?" He asked.

"Of course. Take a look, Commander Red." Silver handed a piece of paper that had information about Kei to Commander Red.

Kei's face, age, weight, date of birth and necessary information are listed on the paper except for height.

"Hmm. His information seems decent. Fine. I will allow his enlistment. Grant him the title of Colonel." Red said as he gave his approval.

He then pressed his stamp on the paper and handed it to one of his soldiers to store it.

"His code name will be Gold," Red said.

Silver clenched his fist when he heard Commander Red's words.

He was enraged and was trying his best not to show it to the General.

How could he not? Since there was already a member with the name Gold in the past.

He was the son of Dr Gero who died due to getting hit by a bullet in a battle.

Commander Red giving out this name was an openly provoking the Genius doctor who was not on good terms with him due to a power struggle.

At least that was what Silver thought.

But in reality, it was a bit different.

Although Red dislike Gero for wanting to get more control over the army Red still knows that at the end of the day, Gero would die for him if it helped the army.

The real reason was much prettier.

Commander Red just hates Gero for being taller than him.

"If you have nothing left to say you can leave," Red said while smiling.

"Then excuse me." Silver said as he walked out of the door.

After reaching a place where Commander Red could not hear him anymore Silver punched the wall.

The soldiers that were around him were startled.

But they didn't say anything.

After all just like how Silver is powerless against Red, ordinary soldiers are powerless against someone with a higher rank than them.

"What's wrong? Did the commander angered you again?"

The voice of a woman was heard.

Silver looked back and saw a woman with violet hair standing behind him.

"Violet, what do you want?" Silver said while looking at the women.

The woman named Violet is a colonel just like him.

But she has some kind of relationship with Commander Red's son, so in terms of loyalty she is on the side of Commander Red rather than Gero.

Silver dislikes Red as he is always harassed by him due to his loyalty towards Dr Gero and his height.

Silver knows that if he makes a mistake his head will roll but if Violet makes a mistake she will get another chance.

This makes him dislike her even more.

Silver wanted to punch her in the face.

But he just walked away as if he started a fight here he would get punished.

"Bitch." Silver cursed in a tone that he could hear him.

She smiled realizing that she got under his skin.
