Dragon Ball: Rise Without End

Amidst the ruins of a crumbling city on Earth, an ominous presence moved through the broken streets.

A blue-skinned humanoid dragon with a pair of jagged wings walked forward. With every step he took, the ground beneath him turned to ice, freezing solid in an instant.

This fearsome being was Eis Shenron, also known as the Ice Dragon. He possessed the terrifying ability to control frost and conjure ice that would never melt.

Eis Shenron was born from the negative energy created when GT Son Goku and the others used the Dragon Balls to erase humanity's memories of Majin Buu.

Whoosh—!

Suddenly, three figures descended from the sky and hovered above the desolate city: Rayden, Broly, and Cell.

Eis Shenron halted, sensing their arrival. He turned, his cold gaze fixing on the newcomers.

"Who are you?" Eis Shenron asked, his tone deceptively calm. "Do you know where Son Goku is?"

Broly narrowed his eyes and looked over at Rayden.

"This evil dragon… He feels different from the ones we fought before."

Rayden gave a small chuckle. "Don't be fooled by his polite attitude or soft voice. Eis Shenron is ruthless. He'll do anything to win."

"Oh?" Eis Shenron smirked. "I didn't expect to be exposed so quickly."

"Damn it! You almost had me!" Broly growled in anger.

"Hahaha!" Eis Shenron laughed mockingly. "You're as naive as Son Goku. That's why it's so easy to fool you."

"I'm nothing like Kakarot!" Broly roared as his power exploded, shaking the air. Without hesitation, he charged at Eis Shenron with blazing speed.

Eis Shenron immediately raised his arms and released a wave of freezing energy from his wings, aiming to stop Broly in his tracks.

But Broly blinked out of sight, easily evading the attack.

The icy blast slammed into an abandoned building behind him. In seconds, the structure turned into a massive ice sculpture.

Then, Broly appeared in front of Eis Shenron like a phantom and drove his fist straight into his opponent's gut.

"Ugh—!" Eis Shenron coughed up blood, his body arching like a shrimp before being blasted backward.

Boom! Boom!

He crashed through a building, which crumbled and buried him under the debris. A thick cloud of dust filled the air.

Moments later, Eis Shenron staggered out from the rubble, his face twisted in rage.

"Damn you…!"

With a scream, he fired a concentrated freezing beam from his eyes.

This time, Broly couldn't dodge in time—his entire body was frozen into a massive block of ice.

Eis Shenron began to laugh in triumph—but the celebration didn't last long.

"Haaaah!"

With a defiant roar, Broly transformed into Super Saiyan 2. His golden aura erupted, shattering the ice instantly.

With another flash, Broly reappeared right in front of Eis Shenron, grabbed his head, and slammed it into the ground, dragging him along like a ragdoll.

"Arrghhh!"

Eis Shenron screamed in pain. He was powerless under Broly's brutal strength.

After a savage beatdown, Broly stepped back, letting Eis Shenron collapse to the ground like a discarded toy.

"It's over," Broly muttered.

He hurled Eis Shenron into the air, charging energy in his palm before launching it upward.

"Massive Meteors!"

The small orb rapidly expanded into a colossal energy sphere as it soared toward the sky.

"No… how is he this strong?" Eis Shenron whispered, helpless as the energy approached.

Just as it seemed certain that he would be incinerated—

Boom!

A blast of energy intercepted the attack, knocking Eis Shenron out of harm's way.

Broly frowned and looked up to identify the source.

A new figure stood atop a ruined building—a dragon who looked exactly like Eis Shenron, but with golden skin.

It was Nuova Shenron, Eis's younger brother.

Unlike Eis, Nuova Shenron was an honorable warrior with a scorching-hot body temperature that rivaled the sun's. His energy could rise up to 60,000 times its normal level.

He had been born from the negative energy created when Piccolo Daimao wished to regain his youth during Son Goku's childhood. As such, Nuova had a strange but mutual understanding with Son Goku.

Eis Shenron, still weak and panting, looked up in shock. "Nuova Shenron…"

Cell grinned darkly. "Rayden, another evil dragon just showed up. If we beat them both, we'll win this round for sure."

Rayden nodded calmly. "Then don't waste time. Finish it quickly."

"Haaaah!"

Cell powered up, his energy flaring as he charged at Nuova Shenron.

"Wait!" Nuova called out suddenly.

Cell halted mid-flight. "What is it? Trying to beg for mercy?"

Nuova shook his head. "I don't want to fight you. My only goal is Son Goku."

Cell sneered. "And you think I care who your target is?"

Without another word, Cell vanished and reappeared in front of Nuova, punching him square in the jaw and sending him flying.

All across the Earth, the surge of Broly's energy had been felt.

Now, with Cell joining the fight, even more warriors sensed the battle's intensity.

Swish! Swish!

One by one, they began arriving using Instant Transmission—drawn by the growing conflict around Rayden.

Rayden turned his head as the group appeared. "What are you all doing here? Weren't you searching for the Dragon Balls?"

GT Vegeta tossed a glowing orb in the air and grinned. "Already found one."

"Uncle Rayden! We got one too!" Son Gohan exclaimed, pulling a Dragon Ball from his pocket.

Piccolo asked, "Didn't you and Vegeta find the main timeline's Son Goku?"

Vegeta from the main timeline scoffed. "Of course not."

Then he held out a Dragon Ball of his own. "But we got one of these."

Rayden smiled. "Looks like victory is ours."

Boom!

With Nuova Shenron distracted, Broly launched another devastating energy bomb, sending Eis Shenron hurtling into the sky where he exploded in a brilliant flash of light.

The three-star ball dropped to the ground, and Broly retrieved it, returning to Rayden.

"We've got two now," Broly said. "Once Cell finishes off Nuova, we'll have three."

"Damn it, this is all your fault for wasting time!" both versions of Vegeta shouted, glaring at the Son Gokus.

The two Gokus could only smile sheepishly.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

In the distance, the battle between Cell and Nuova Shenron continued, shaking the air with every blow.

Just as Cell's fist was about to land, Nuova increased his body temperature to its maximum—6,000°C.

Cell recoiled, staring at the burns on his arm.

"What… what is this heat?"

The scorching air radiated from Nuova Shenron like a blazing furnace.

Cell quickly formed a protective energy shield around himself to block the temperature.

Nuova took to the sky, his palms gathering an immense amount of superheated air.

"Super Fireball!" he roared, hurling the fireball at Cell.

Cell braced himself, gathering energy at his waist. "Kamehameha—wave!!"

The two blasts collided in the air, creating a massive explosion that shook the clouds and blew debris across the city.

Rayden and the others shielded their eyes from the blinding light.

When the light faded, Cell stood tall. "If that's the best you've got… it's time I ended this."

"HAAA!"

Golden energy surged around him, enveloping his body.

His green skin shimmered—then transformed into gold.

Rayden's eyes widened. "Golden… Cell?"

Nuova Shenron stared in disbelief. "This… this can't be…"

In a blur, Golden Cell vanished and reappeared in front of Nuova, landing a devastating punch.

BOOM!

Nuova Shenron was shattered in a single hit.

As his body dissolved into fragments of light, the Four-Star Ball fell to the ground.

Cell picked it up and soared into the sky, flying back toward Rayden and the others.
