Dragon Ball: The Strongest Training

Chapter 43: So It’s the Mecha Corps

Far away at the central oasis, Krillin sensed a large-scale movement of the aliens' energy signatures. He gave a thumbs-up in the direction Shaz had gone and said, "Nicely done!"

Shadamou looked at Krillin with a mix of curiosity and confusion. Lord Krillin was always so mysterious and unfathomable.

"Don't rush; let's wait patiently," Krillin said to Shadamou with a calm smile.

"Lord Rick, the spaceship is ready. We can depart at any time," Shaz reported to Rick.

Rick nodded and asked, "Have all our forces been informed?"

"Yes, Lord Rick. The combat personnel from the other eight slave zones have been notified and are prepared to move."

Rick nodded in approval, satisfied with Shaz's efficiency.

"Let's move out!" Rick stepped into the spaceship, which began to ascend and then shot into the sky. At the same time, similar scenes unfolded in the other eight slave zones. A total of nine spaceships took off and headed toward the central oasis.

At the oasis, Ian stood on a platform, addressing the crowd below. "This will be our new home. Here, we will rebuild our homeland!"

The crowd below looked uncertain. One person stood up boldly and asked, "But there's nothing here!"

"Child, our Earth Mound Star already has nothing left," Ian said calmly. "All we have now is our lives."

Hearing Ian's words, the crowd grew somber.

"It's true… What do we have left? Our civilization was destroyed the moment the invaders came. Now, we truly have nothing."

Sadness spread through the Earth Mound Star people like a wave, leaving them lost and helpless.

Ian raised his voice, filled with conviction. "Children, though we have nothing left, we are alive. And now, we are free! Five days ago, we wouldn't have even dared dream of freedom. But today, freedom belongs to us!"

Ian's powerful words resonated deeply with everyone.

"Avila, your father speaks so well," Shadamou said, impressed.

"No way! Not as well as you, Brother Shadamou!" Avila said with a shy smile, her cheeks tinged red.

"What?" Shadamou looked momentarily stunned.

Before he could process her words, the crowd erupted in shouts of, "We want freedom!" interrupting their conversation.

"We will no longer be enslaved! No more hunger or cold! Happiness and freedom belong to the Earth Mound Star people!" Ian's voice painted an inspiring vision, stirring hope in everyone.

"Rebuild our homeland! Rebuild our homeland!" The crowd's emotions reached a fever pitch.

Even Avila's small face flushed with excitement as she shouted loudly, "Rebuild our homeland!"

Krillin nodded, pleased to see the atmosphere reaching its peak. The time had come for him to step in and provide a powerful stabilizing force.

He floated back into his training room and changed into a yellow martial arts uniform, with a large "Turtle" kanji emblazoned on the chest.

Krillin walked out calmly and stood atop the highest rock.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The roar of spaceships broke through the crowd's shouts. As the people looked up, they saw the invaders closing in. Though fear flickered across their faces, no one fled. After all, the Galactic Patrolman Krillin was protecting them.

However, the sight of nine massive spaceships still unsettled the crowd.

Shadamou glanced at the sky and immediately spotted Krillin. He took off toward him, calling back, "Avila, take care of yourself!"

"Okay!" Avila nodded obediently.

Shadamou stopped in front of Krillin, looking at the overwhelming number of spaceships. He asked anxiously, "Lord Krillin, what do we do?"

"Destroy them," Krillin said calmly.

"Yes, Lord Krillin!" Shadamou's eyes burned with fighting spirit. He had come to realize that weakness was the original sin, and only through battle could he truly grow stronger.

The spaceships' doors slowly opened, and hundreds of grotesque aliens flew out. At their forefront was Rick, flanked by his minions.

Shadamou spotted Shaz among the aliens and shouted angrily, "I told you we shouldn't have let him go, Lord Krillin!"

Krillin gave Shaz a slight smile and said, "You did well. I'm satisfied."

Rick glanced suspiciously at Shaz, who immediately tried to explain, "Lord Rick, it's him! He ambushed us!"

Rick, not taking any chances, used his scouter to analyze Krillin's power level. Seeing the result, he burst into laughter. "That's it? Just 5,000?"

Relaxing completely, Rick grew irritated at having wasted so much time and resources. "How should I kill you?" he sneered.

Krillin silently observed. Villains like this always talk too much.

Shaz, sensing Rick's annoyance, volunteered eagerly. "Leave that bald native to me. He fed me that disgusting slop—I won't let him off lightly!"

Rick nodded in approval, and Shaz flew forward with glee, confident that Krillin wouldn't dare act with Rick present.

Krillin watched Shaz approach, then casually fired a Ki blast. The attack struck Shaz squarely, sending him crashing into a distant rock formation.

"How fast! When did he…?" Rick's forehead glistened with sweat. He hadn't even seen Krillin make his move.

Shaz lay wedged between jagged rocks, trying to speak but quickly losing consciousness as his head slumped to the side.

"Your turn, Shadamou," Krillin said, gesturing toward the hundreds of aliens behind Rick.

"Understood, Lord Krillin!" Shadamou responded, his battle lust ignited.

Krillin vanished in a flash.

Rick, startled by Krillin's sudden disappearance, frantically looked around and activated his scouter. A cold, mechanical beep filled the air as he tried to pinpoint Krillin's location.

"Looking for me?" Krillin asked with a toothy grin, lightly tapping Rick on the shoulder.

Rick turned, terrified, and stumbled backward.

Krillin tossed another Ki blast casually, forcing Rick further into a corner. "Why are you collecting energy-rich ores? Who are you working for?"

Rick, though trembling, spoke proudly. "I'm gathering it for Lord Shaviza. If you're smart, you'll—"

"Boom!"

Before he could finish, Rick was reduced to ash.

"Oops, slipped," Krillin said nonchalantly, though his explanation fell on deaf ears.

"So, they're working for Shaviza." Krillin immediately understood why these aliens were so aggressively mining energy-rich ores. Shaviza's forces, also known as the Mecha Corps, needed vast amounts of energy for their mechanized units.

Krillin scratched his head in frustration. I thought I could just quietly strengthen myself on this backwater planet. Who knew I'd run into Shaviza?

Shaviza himself didn't frighten Krillin, but the thought of Cooler, Shaviza's superior and Frieza's older brother, made his stomach churn. Cooler, with an extra transformation beyond Frieza's, was far more powerful.

"One Frieza was bad enough… now this?" Krillin muttered.

Below, the Earth Mound Star people stared in disbelief. The alien leader had been defeated so effortlessly.

An elderly man stepped forward, tears streaming down his face. "I recognize that alien. He was among those who killed our king a hundred years ago."

The old man knelt and sobbed. "Lord Krillin has avenged our king!" The crowd followed his lead, bowing to Krillin in gratitude.

Meanwhile, Shadamou darted through the remaining aliens, his power level of 1,100 allowing him to defeat them one after another with ease.
