Chapter 91: Chapter 90: Majin Buu, Shocked Supreme Kai
"Who would like a person who almost beat themselves to death! I don't have masochistic tendencies!" No.18 shouted angrily, her voice rising with indignation.
But the blush that suddenly appeared on her face betrayed her true feelings. Her heart raced rapidly, a reaction she hadn't expected. Kahn's unexpected question had caught her completely off guard.
"Is it?" Kahn grinned playfully, his gaze sharp as he caught her wrist, avoiding her punch with ease. Leaning closer, he whispered in her ear, "Then why do you blush every time you see me? And why did No. 17 call me brother-in-law that day?"
In that moment, No. 18's face flushed even deeper, her breath caught by his proximity.
"Yes! So what!" she snapped, glaring at him with a mixture of embarrassment and frustration. "You already have a wife, so what's the point of asking me these things!"
Her voice trembled with emotion, but her pride wouldn't let her back down. Without warning, she threw another punch at Kahn's chest, this time putting everything she had into it.
Boom!
To her shock, Kahn was hit squarely, launching into the air before crashing out of the ring. The arena fell into stunned silence.
Even the referee was speechless. "Out... out of bounds! Contestant No. 18 wins this year's No. 1 Martial Arts Championship!"
The crowd erupted into cheers, their roars shaking the stadium as No. 18 stood in disbelief. How had this happened? She couldn't understand it—she had barely scratched Kahn's defenses in the past, but now she had knocked him out of the ring?
Kahn's voice broke through her confusion. "Actually, I didn't want to fight you, No. 18."
No. 18 snapped back to reality, seeing him already standing outside the ring. "Who... who cares!" she muttered, turning her head away, but the subtle smile on her face betrayed her pride.
"It seems you've hit the mark," No. 16 observed with a neutral expression from the sidelines.
No. 17 chimed in, "If No. 18 could just let go of her pride, she might already be Mr. Kahn's third wife by now."
Meanwhile, outside the arena, Vados and the others were waiting for Kahn.
Bulma, ever the supportive wife, greeted him with a smile. "That was quick, my husband, you don't want to win the championship?"
Kahn shrugged, his expression nonchalant. "Winning doesn't really matter to me. If it weren't for Rados pushing me, I wouldn't have even participated."
"Hee hee, I'm happy I could spar with my father!" Rados giggled, making a playful expression.
Vados raised an eyebrow. "Shall we head back now?"
"You go ahead," Kahn replied, his gaze drifting toward the horizon. "I need to handle something. The situation over there doesn't look good for Goku."
Rados protested but was quickly silenced by Vados. "Go back, Rados. Let your father take care of this."
After seeing them off, Kahn teleported to the battlefield using Instant Transmission.
---
At the battlefield, Supreme Kai watched in horror as Fat Buu, the manifestation of Majin Buu's evil side, fought with Super Saiyan 3 Goku. Goku was clearly struggling to maintain his Super Saiyan 3 form, his energy rapidly depleting. Despite Goku's overwhelming strength, Fat Buu's regenerative powers and tireless endurance made him nearly impossible to defeat.
"Master Supreme Kai..." Jebit gasped weakly from the ground, unable to offer any help as Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan lay unconscious.
The Supreme Kai could only stare in disbelief as Goku launched a ki blast that shattered Buu into pieces. Yet, before their eyes, the creature quickly regenerated.
"Is this guy unbeatable?" Goku panted, frustration growing. His Super Saiyan 3 form was unsustainable against such a relentless foe.
Just as Goku was about to concede, a towering figure appeared on the horizon.
"Goku, you did your best. Now, let me handle this," Kahn's calm voice echoed across the battlefield.
With Kahn's arrival, Goku breathed a sigh of relief, letting go of his Super Saiyan 3 form and dropping to the ground, exhausted. Supreme Kai looked on, skeptical. "Don't you think it would be better to team up with Kahn, Goku?"
But Goku only shook his head. "There's no need. Kahn alone is enough."
The Supreme Kai could hardly believe his ears. Kahn alone? Could he really be that strong?
Before the Supreme Kai could respond, Kahn was already in action. He stepped toward Fat Buu, who seemed almost childlike in his immense power.
In the blink of an eye, Kahn obliterated Fat Buu with a single devastating strike, separating the evil side, Skinny Buu, from the original. Without hesitation, Kahn unleashed a destructive space annihilation beam that disintegrated Skinny Buu, leaving nothing behind.
Supreme Kai stood frozen, his mouth agape. Majin Buu... was defeated that easily?
"Too strong... he's too strong!" Supreme Kai stammered, completely stunned by Kahn's overwhelming power.
