As these words of notification buzzed in his head, Li Kai opened his eyes.

Although he could see nothing but darkness, he remained silent.

For a moment, he felt utterly lost.

Taking a breath of fresh air, he calmed his thoughts.

The Li Kai who had screamed in fear during his encounter in the alternate dimension was no more.

If someone were to analyze his demeanor, they might even think that the terrifying experiences were just a fleeting nightmare.

Li Kai replayed the series of events that had brought him to this point: the destruction of the Forsaken Saints World, meeting his brother, and finally, obtaining the Asura System.

His mind was a whirlwind of emotions a storm of turmoil clashing against the calm facade he outwardly displayed.

"What in the world is happening to me?"

According to Li kai's understanding, as simple as this question sounds, it carried the utmost importance.

This is because every damn thing that was happening was just like a chain of events which he had absolutely no control over.

Just like a stranger hit by a stray bullet… That was exactly how he felt.

"Wait a minute… Let's analyse this together shall we?" He thought

"Firstly my world was destroyed and in a bid to escape, my physical body and a huge chunk of my soul was destroyed only to discover the reason for this being some sort of entity called the asura spirit."

"Turns out some empress can't allow the entity to exist and sent some super duper overpowered individuals which from their conversation the referred to themselves as immortals to destroy my world"

"This of course is a huge cause of vengeance… That aside I escaped with my speck of soul into the cosmos where lets not forget how i was tormented by the chaotic energy"

"A miracle how i survived now i think about it, only to be meet by an entity which is the cause of my transmiggration into a FUCKING BLIND BODY!!!"

"How can I be mad? Me, the great saint sage? Of course not pfft!!!"

"DAMN!!! I am mad 100% all thanks to the asura spirit which is obviously behind all theses events as i figured after awaking the so called system named after the asura spirit" 

~Sigh~

"I think I will die of old age at this rate… And oh! I am not done yet"

"Let's not forget how I literally passed through the most terrifying experience in some sort of alternate dimension where my soul suffered the moans and screams of the dead…"

"That seemed like hell to me right? Yes!!! Of course that's hell, what other name is benefiting such a place huh tell me?"

"Oh! And that's not all because we are just getting started"

"Because in this new world I discovered a shocking reality… I AM FUCKING BLIND and not only that damn!"

"I cannot even cultivate in peace anymore, turns out the law of the world is different from the forsaken saints and uses some weird energy hard for me to understand"

"Lastly, my 'new' brother of the body i inherited Russel"

"I a saint sage one revered by thousands and having no bond to the world is suddenly tied down by love which is surprising even to me"

"I guess it's the fault of his twin Davi, the body of which I currently inhibit… Heck! He has such a strong will even at death to tie my soul to love of a human which has no relation to me technically?"

"Infact lets just stop here because at this rate i feel like I will run mad"

"I still wonder the secret of this body tho… Not any mundane body can house my soul and perfectly at that i think i should investigate this right?" He asked himself inwardly not expecting a reply.

~Sigh~

"I am tired" Li kai finally blurred out in reality after the intense session he had with himself internally.

At least now he was relieved and felt like it would be a good time to start thinking towards his future in this new world.

And there was no better way to start than to first figure out this thing of a system.

Because not only was it strange to him, he was weirdly beginning to get giddy and excited over this.

Like a child that was given a toy 

And while he was still frustrated over the fact of having no control over the events happening in his life he didn't mind it much he would have died sooner or later anyways.

His former world's spirit was dead. And he could not advance any realm higher than the saint sage; this was basically the reason why their world was termed the world of 'forsaken' saints.

That aside.

"How do I activate this asura system?" Li Kai thought to himself inwardly.

"What to do? What to do?" Li Kai thought.

Sigh

"What do I even look like? Now that I think of it, the Davi that I have seen was faceless, I wonder why that is… could it be that he is blind thus has never seen his face?" He thought.

"It's most likely, anyway that is by the way, I will definitely find out what I look like. I am a saint sage, at least I was, so I shouldn't be less than average… I hope", Li Kai thought, somewhat anxious of what his appearance might turn out to be.

"But how do I open up this thing called a system?". Li Kai said

Just then;

[Ding!]

"Woah! That surprised me, this is mysterious, I have never seen or heard of anything like this in the world of forsaken saints". 

"It bears no hostility, clearly not an enemy, I mean how can it be an enemy when it is inside my head?" 

Sigh

"Turns out all I need to open up this System thing is to think about it, thoroughly spectacular!" Li Kai blurted out.

This disturbed russel as he slept just beside him, noticing this he made a mental note to be calm in other not to disturb russell.

Li kai quickly looked at the crimson screen in front of him, or rather in front of his mind

"This system or whatever it is called is indeed mysterious. It sounded directly in my head, like it has always been there… Wait!" Li Kai suddenly thought.

"Am I just imagining it or does this voice not sound like the real Davi? Or is it all just a coincidence?" Li Kai thought.

"As i recall it was difficult to identity the gender of this voice back at the alternate dimension"

"I guess I have indeed gotten old, old age is terrifying… I mean what other explanation is there? Am clearly hallucinating!!!" Li Kai said.

Seeming to have forgotten that he was currently 1345 years old technically

As if trying to relieve his stress he rubbed his temples, after he had calmed down.
