Eriri, ever since her relationship with Chisato officially took that step, had been in a cheerful and bright mood.
Everything seemed incredibly beautiful in her eyes, perhaps because the calm demeanor of a winner relieved her worries.
Even Utaha, who had always been difficult to deal with, appeared lovable to her.
She still remembered how Utaha had answered the phone that night, expressing "you're good" in an extremely angry yet helpless tone.
Getting the body of the person you like is certainly a direct source of happiness, but as an indispensable part of this relationship, Utaha's reaction is also a delicacy for her.
How should she put it?
Eriri liked her dissatisfied and angry expression, even though there was nothing she could do about it.
Do you think Chisato's first time belongs to you?
It's with me, the witty Eriri!
Ah—that scene! I can't help but think about it every time, and I get an exhilarating rush in my head—it's so satisfying!
On Thursday, Eriri, exhausted from the previous night, went to the health room and lay down all morning, pretending to feel unwell.
After returning home from school in the afternoon, she used the same excuse to wrap herself tightly in a thin blanket, even taking food back to her room to eat.
Naturally, her aim was to prevent her family from discovering the dark red marks on her body caused by Chisato.
The way she walked also seemed unnatural due to her physical discomfort.
She looked forward to growing up soon. This feeling of guilt, like a thief at home, was really uncomfortable.
It would be fine when she got to college. When that time came, she would have a legitimate reason to move out and live alone, freeing her from her family's interference.
It was Saturday.
Chisato went to work in the evening, as was his regular schedule, but he was still at home during the day.
Eriri, understanding this, had nearly recovered physically over the past two days, and her mind was becoming more active.
She planned to take advantage of their free time to enhance their emotional connection.
After two lifetimes of experience in her dreams, Eriri chose not to go directly to his door.
Instead, she stopped at a fruit shop to buy some fruits to carry with her.
This subtle display of femininity might seem insignificant on ordinary days, but over time, it took on a completely different and noteworthy feeling.
On the way to the apartment in the car, Eriri thought about the day's arrangements in advance.
There was a business district near Chisato's apartment. In the afternoon, she could take him shopping at MUJI and check out what movies had been recently released in theaters.
Horror films were the best; she understood everything about them.
If that didn't work out, romantic movies and comedies were both acceptable and could create a pleasant atmosphere for their time together.
Then, it should end early, allowing her to return to the apartment with him. He had cooked the last meal, so this time it was her turn to show off her cooking skills.
She wanted to demonstrate her intellect and thoughtfulness, hoping to win his heart with delicious dishes.
With such a plan in mind, Eriri walked briskly into the apartment lobby after paying the fare.
In the elevator, she noticed two girls standing together, looking embarrassed.
As she got closer, she could hear their conversation.
"Yuigahama-senpai, why doesn't the elevator respond when you press the button?"
"When I visited Yukino's house before, she came down to pick me up. I didn't know much about it…"
"Oh, by the way, I remember now. Yukino took me with her and swiped something in the sensing area of this machine."
"At first glance, it seems this elevator can only be accessed by swiping an access card."
"We actually have to own the access card to go to her room.. Coming in early was a mistake."
The girl with short flaxen hair sighed softly.
"We can only call Yukinoshita-senpai; there's nothing we can do if we waste time here."
"Well, that's all we can do."
The girl with pink hair took out her cell phone from her pocket.
From their conversation, Eriri roughly understood their predicament. She approached them and took the initiative to chat.
"Well, I'm about to go up. If you don't mind, you can come with me."
The two girls in front of her didn't seem like troublemakers, based on their conversation and appearance, so Eriri didn't mind helping them.
"Ah, thank you very much."
The two looked at each other, then surprisingly spoke in unison, both expressing their gratitude.
"Don't be so polite; it's just a small effort."
As Eriri was about to put the fruit in her hand down, the flaxen-haired girl took the initiative to grab it.
After swiping the access card, the three of them entered the elevator together.
Eriri pressed the button for her floor, and when she turned around to ask, the pink-haired girl exclaimed in surprise,
"What a coincidence! We're on the same floor."
"You remember correctly, Yuigahama-senpai."
"That's absolutely right. Yukino-chan's house number is 1502, which is on the fifteenth floor."
The pink-haired girl spoke with absolute certainty.
"That's such a coincidence; my home is 1501."
Eriri was also slightly surprised.
"It's right next door. I always feel like we're destined to meet; it's like fate."
"It's just a coincidence, senpai. Your current behavior resembles that of the uncle you were chatting with."
"I'm just saying what's on my mind. Maybe we'll see each other more often in the future."
"The probability of that is very small. We can only come here on weekends during this period."
While they chatted casually, the elevator door opened.
Eri arrived at the door of Chisato's apartment, opened it, turned around, smiled at the two girls, walked inside, and closed the door.
Yui and Iroha didn't have the habit to pry into someone else's home, but that didn't stop them from glancing at the nameplate on the door.
It was blank; no last name was written.
"They probably just moved here," Yui murmured to herself.
She rang the doorbell of Yukino's house.
Iroha yawned lightly, all because Yuihad called her early in the morning, asking her to come over sooner, which left her a bit sleepless.
After studying for a while, she had requested Yukino to let her take a break.
