GROWTH OF THE MAIN CAST Location the Humanworld, Japan-Kuoh: Kuoh Academy, Class A-3

Another day...as the Laharl peerage was getting into their new routine. Going to school through the week, dungeon diving everytime they'd have an opportunity, visiting his mom every Sunday, along with them balancing protecting Kuoh. Laharl, he has taken to protect the people from punks, gangsters, and even killed some yakuza that tried to establish themselves in Kuoh. While at night, him, Rias, and Sona would take turns checking around the town for strays. In this last week four came crawling into the toward the town but at least Rias and her peerage dealt with them, before any damage could happen.

Speaking of them. He has noticed the Rias apart from her usual flirting and pushing she and her peerage have been getting stronger. She's not training as much as she should but the result speak for themselves. Rias was a high-class devil along side Akeno in terms of power. While Kiba and even Koneko were mid-class something that they should be in at the end of the Kokabiel Arc. Then there's Sona. Sona was starting to train with Mizore to counter her ice magic, and also learning to use it. She was able to be able to use also mist magic, as she took his advice to heath using various states of water in battle. While Rias has started to use various shapes of her Power of Destruction, and he even helped her design two new attack based of the G. Frieza. First being rapid firing finger blasts of Power of Destruction, and making the iconic Death Ray that Frieza has also made iconic. Thus her arsenal has gotten better, now that she has a faster attack, and a more concentrated and precise technique in her disposal.

Tsubaki was becoming a monster in battle using her naginata, and her mastery of her Mirror Alice has grown. Capable to take on a Dark Bolt without issue and blast it back twice as powerful. Tsubaki has been training with him and the girl, growing in talent and power. Plus Kneesocks became close with Sona's queen, almost calling each other close friends.

Akeno has becomes stronger. Using a variety of spells, but her attunement to lightning magic she's turned into the sadist that is known and loved in DXD. Laharl has provided her advice in spells, using anime and games to molded her new devastating arsenal. Thunder Cage from Makai Kingdom, Godspeed from Hunter X Hunter, and Lightning Javelin and Wall from various anime and games, has made the future Priestess of Lightning was becoming the renowned girl, she is in the future. Also she was getting more comfortable using her fallen angel wings, and receiving some compliments and advice from Albedo-senpai, as they became close to one another. It was surprising to all, but Albedo has been shown a bit of sadist streak on "insects" needing to be crushed. Akeno, she wasn't using her holy power yet, but Akeno was quite strong now.

Tomoe under his and Kiba instructions the young Knight of Sona, has improved in leaps and bonds in her swordsmanship. Even joining him, Kiba, and Ruby sparring sessions in the Kendo Club. That four of them became quite popular in the Girls' Kendo Club, with Murayama and Katase the future captain and vice-captain, famous supporting character of DXD. Kiba's skills have also improved massively with the matches he, Ruby, and Tomoe would have. Kiba even listened to his advice and started adding more strength and weight behind his attacks and fighting style. Making his iconic demonic sword stronger with more demonic power and weight behind them, from his Holy Eraser a counter to holy enemies, Flame Delete that has become even stronger with Mizore providing expertizing on making a stronger ice sword, and more. Plus his signature technique, that he learned from the legend Souji Okita, the Sandanzuki he has been able to use it in slashes and thrusts as it was meant for.

Koneko has gotten a bit over her trauma, showing her hears and tail more, as Cerberus has taken her under her wing. Teaching her kickboxing, and helping her use Touki better, she's still a bit effie of using senjutsu, but they'd promised once the whole Riser thing was settled, they'll take her to the nekomata settlement to be mentored and help by them. Then there Reya her magic talent is to be respected. Being from a witch bloodline, she's devoted herself on her pursue of mastering the grimoires that Sona got for her. She's already mastered the basics and is mid level spells. Lastly was Momo. Like Reya being a bishop, she'd taken to drastically improve her power and knowledge, while not as talented as her friend Reya-chan, she's still shows great power and conviction, learning right beside her.

Laharl, as he was asked by the language teacher to translate a Japanese paragraph into English, which he did with ease. Earning praise from the teacher, and the human classmates. He'd went and sat back down. As he thought of the month that has passed since starting at the academy, they'd proven that devils were smarter and more skilled, even with Rias and Sona's dumb desires to pretend to be normal highschool girls, they couldn't hide their talent. So all with exception of Koneko, were very popular and special in Kuoh. Another thing he found someone both irritating and iconic in Kuoh...Genshirou Saji.

GENSHIROU SAJI Location Kuoh Academy: Rooftop

A punk that managed to get into Kuoh Academy, after his sick grandfather, miraculously healed and was able to lift some of his burden in taking care of Kaho and Gengo, his younger siblings. He was able to focus on school. Which let him to meet the most beautiful girl of the whole school, her dark short hair, her violet eyes, along with her superior intelligence, and humble attitude. He blushed as he laid on the floor of the open roof of the school. Her name is Shitori Souna. And he was falling for her hard, he was trying to approach and start conversations with the girl, that was luckily in his same class but she'd wouldn't spare the time to talk with him.

She's always with the other ladies of Kuoh or...or him!! He grinded his teeth, at the meer though of him. The punk that believed himself all that!? He is the infamous Gang Buster, the Protector of the Maidens of Kuoh, the Dark King, Laharl K. Schulz!! Saji, could have respected that strength and noble attitude to protect the weak girls of the town, but... What does Souna-san see in that cold punk!? It was plain to see that Souna was interested in the punk, while following him around he'd managed to catch the guy being a cheating bastard!! He caught him kissing the lovely girl Kyoko-san, then on the same day he'd make-out with Ruby-san the unofficial boss of the girl-gangs of the area, and even the Koime Sisters. He was shocked and immediately told Souna, and to his surprise Souna didn't care. Instead she was scolding from a angry Souna, that basically told him to leave "Laharl-kun" and the girls alone.

Saji, he smashed his fist onto floor. Grunting in pain, from doing that last action. He got up and hissed in pain, as he rubbed his red hand from smashing his fist onto the floor. This reminded him of the time he'd challenge Laharl, trying to get the asshole to back off from Souna-san, but that guy ignored him, and said to him, "Why should I listen to a kid, that knows nothing of Souna? And is acting like a crazy stalker. " Saji, he saw red and attacked Laharl. At the end he got his ass handed to him, by Laharl. He'd could have kill him, but Laharl said to him, "Weak... You'd should stay away from Souna, your only gonna cause problems for her...and me." Ever since he's been obsessed on breaking that bad relationship between Souna and him, as he didn't realized that his anger and obsession was steering something inside of him...

Location the Basketball Court of the Academy Laharl just threw a three-pointer from across court. Making all the girls and some of the jocks of the academy. Ever since Laharl showed his basketball skills, the men's basketball team has been desperate to scout him. But he didn't want to. As he noticed someone glaring at him in the audience...Saji Genshirou. It's been sometime since he meet the owner of the currently sealed Absorption Line, one of Vritra's split soul of creating several sacred gears. Honestly he'd never like the guy. Saji, is basically a lesser knockoff of the protag, a dragon in the making, a pervert, harem-maker, in love with his master and girl who saved his life. With how strong Sona and her girls were becoming, he wasn't worth becoming the so called "ace" of the Sona peerage.

Before the punk even came to demand and threatened him a while back, which resulted in him beating him down. Such gratitude. He saw the punk around the town, and deciding to help out the kid, since his granddad, and siblings were innocent. So he made a small contract with his granddad healing his illness, and using magic to grant him enough vitality to live up to sixty more years, strong and comfortably. Once he saved the old man, and transfered more than enough funds to raise three kids, and much more, he'd erased his memories and left Saji's granddad believing in whatever God that he believes in was responsible to save him. Also by doing this he was helping a bro out. Since Kiba has gotten stronger, calmer, and confident for his growth, and Tsubaki, Tomoe, Reya, and Momo were becoming closer to him. Kiba deserves to be happy, and he needs some cheeks. Doing this kindness to Saji, he'd never become Sona 4-piece pawn, and Kiba can be with those girls. After all a bro always has a bro's back, it's in the Bro Code. But it seems canon is desperately trying to push Saji into the spotlight, not in his watch.

In this DXD there will be no Black Dragon King. He'll already have a headache in the making with Issei coming next year. Laharl, he doesn't have time for this idiot. Getting back into the game, and ignored Saji's pathetic attempts to intimidate a bigger beast. Meanwhile, Saji swears that he'll get rid of Laharl, and save Souna from such a bastard, as something was getting close to awaken from him, fueled by his anger and obsession.

STALKER Location the Outskirts of Kuoh

It's night time in Kuoh. Currently a hoodie wearing kid was stalking his target. This is Saji, following the red and blue antennae haired, Laharl. Just a couple moments ago, while jogging to get strong enough to beat Laharl and stop the bastard from ruining poor Souna. He coincidentally spotted the bastard, talking to Kyoko, Ruby, Albedo, Koime Sisters, Karin, and Mizore, unfortunately he could listen in on what their saying, but after talking they nodded to Laharl, and they split-up. Since then he'd been following the bastard to find out what was happening, and maybe finally finding some dirt that will knock, the so called Dark King off his throne.

In truth, Laharl was called by Sona. She needed some help tracking out a rogue mid-class stray. A former Knight before going rogue. His speed making it hard to pin-down, so Sona asked for his and the girls help. With some many of them tracking down the stray, they'll get this over quickly. Eventually, he'd sense the foul scent of corrupted magic, that is the scent of a stray. Meanwhile, Saji was having some trouble following Laharl, as he headed to the outskirts of Kuoh. This made Saji more curious and worried about what that bastard was doing way down here. As he went deeper into the dark wood, he heard some screaming!!

Worried that something might be wrong, Saji, he rushed over to the source of the screaming. And saw something horrible!! That bastard Laharl, he was holding a massive sword, too big to a katana, and using the huge blade to attack a guy!!! The guy was older, with gray spiky hair with black clothing...and legless!! He put his hand onto his mouth, as he watched Laharl walked over the pleading man, and stabbed him into the heart killing the guy!!! He knew that Laharl was a bastard, but he didn't expect him to be a bloody psycho. He just witnessed a bloody murder, and this is the guy Souna...that when he heard a familiar voice.

Laharl took down the stray easily. The one weakness of speed base opponent is their strength, their legs. And the biggest weakness of any villains...is that they all love to monolog. So he simply used his Blade Rush technique, to cut off his legs and take out the rogue devil easily. He'd pulled out his cellphone and text Sona, his location and the current state of the stray hunt...not knowing their were prying eyes, watching him...
