RETURN TO THE CATACOMB DUNGEON Location the Catacomb Dungeon Area 3

The next day. Laharl, he and the girls went to the Abandoned Church. In order to go through the oldest grave in the back of the church, and enter through said grave. Going directly to the third area for the first time. The eleven teenage devils, appeared a new area. It looked like a bright lite area, a ruined palace, which Laharl immediately recognize this new area as Zenon's Palace from Disgaea 2. From their experience in the Catacomb Dungeon, all the areas have been ruined and desolated areas, from La Pucelle, then Phantom Brave, and now Disgaea 2. Despite those games only making that map-area small, while the stories exclaim that their way bigger, they might have a long distance to cover. Along with finding a bunch of loot, since this is area based from Fake Zenon's Palace. There should be a lot of valuable stuff, amongst the debri and ruins. From what he remember from the games, the monsters that are in this map-area are marionettes and ghosts, aside from that some human enemies...either they'll only fight against the monster types or they'll start fighting human based enemies. Either way it'll be a good hunt for them all.

Rising his arm over his shoulder, and calling his sword, Vritra Zanbato already resting on his shoulders. All the girls were ready to hunt as well. As they went into the ruined palace location. They found some expensive vases, candelabras, and some furniture that managed to stay in tact even in all the rubble and debrie everywhere. That's when they heard a shrieking laughter, as a couple of marionettes came out the ruins. Dressed in their dark turquoise and yellow accented jester costume, and the puppet strings attached to the backs. Doing their creepy movements, they attacked by pulling out daggers and throwing those daggers, at them. They spread out and evaded all those daggers. Setsuna charge in using one of spear techniques, rapidly performing multiple thrusts of her naginata. Stabbing three of the marionettes several times, before she spun her weapon now surging in lighting and performing one final thrust through the three monsters, killing them. Her Lighting Spear technique lives up to its name. Meanwhile Raven sent out her Soul-Self to smash into a single monster, taking it out marionette. While Kyoko took out the final couple of marionettes by using her extremely high-speed, slicing through the marionettes.

As they took out these monsters, Laharl, he praised Setsuna, Raven, and Kyoko for their great work. Making the three girls very happy. As the six marionettes gave out a good amount of red, and yellow exp-drops. Strength and magic are what these Tim Burton wannabes gave, they'd absorbed the exp-drops and felt a good amount of enhancement to their stats. Quite a different level of gain, then the previous areas. Laharl, he stored the marionettes' bodies, and went on deeper into the ruined palace. As they did they've come across more marionettes and ghosts which only gave green exp, with good amounts of gain. Laharl was a bit disappointed, his gamer side wanted to face off against warriors, mages, and other makaiverse class-characters, but it seems that all that was in this area were monsters. And this area is mainly a obstacle based area, since many times they'd been ambushed or the monsters would take cover behind a fallen pillar, or column, or a chunk of debrie. At least some of the girls were able to level-up their stats in this area. Plus they've looted quite a few things, making it a profitable dive, but then a monster that shouldn't be in this map-area appeared. A huge eyeless bipedal, blue slug monster, with yellow antennas allover it's body. A warslug, while slow they can pack a punch and...as the warslug, started swaying its tongue in the air, forming a stormcloud over them and Laharl, he said out loud, "...control lightning... Scatter!!"

As the warslug, unleashed a Electric Shock attack on them. But thanks to Laharl's warning they've avoided getting hurt. Seems that his previous doubts were clear, the dungeons only spawn monsters, and aren't completely based of makaiverse maps or rules. Whatever, it was just another monster to take out. Ruby rushed in with her fist ignited in hellfire, as the warslug roared and was about to attack only for Ruby to strike first. Using her Hellish Knuckles to punch the ground causing a burst of hellfire, followed by a pillar of hellfire engulfing the warslug. Shrieking out in pain, Nero rushed in for the follow-up. Leaping towards the pillar of hellfire, and with a strong and swift wide slash, she'd kill the warslug. As the pillar of hellfire fade away, leaving a burned body of the monster. Ruby, she straighten herself up, looked at her sister Nero and with a smile along with a rised her hand, and Nero did the same, giving each other a high-five. The warslug, released a bunch of purple and orange exp-drops. A defensive exclusive exp-drop from the warslug, they absorb the exp and Laharl stored away the monster body. So far things are going smoothly, going further in the ruins, they fought more marionettes, ghosts, and couple more warslugs. Eventually the higher leveled in the group, they'd gained enough exp-drops to level-up.

While this area has less number of monsters, and also less intelligent monsters. The battlegrounds were the issue itself. This is a highly obstacles base area, the previous one was basically a horde place, this the very background will cause problems. But he and the girls, were up for the challenge and pressed on. They continue killing monsters, reaching high numbers of monsters to sell later. But it was clear that they'd needed stronger enemies to enhance themselves, further. So it was time to face the Boss of the area and maybe move onto the next area, as well. The girls agreed with Laharl, as they went further in the ruined palace, taking out any monster that appeared in their way.

SURPRISE BOSS OF THE THIRD AREA Location the Catacomb Dungeon Area 3, Boss Area: Sealed Room

The final area. The Boss room of the ruined palace. Looking exactly like final map-area in Zenon's Palace. With the altar like area, with the golden sigil etched onto the white, marble floor. It's a very small room compared to the other Boss areas they've faced in the past. Cerberus they looked around and sniffed the air, with Setsuna joining her. But they all proclaimed that they're alone, there is no monster in the room. As soon as Kneesocks took a step closer to the center of the room, both Setsuna and Cerberus smell something was approaching. They'd warned Kneesocks who stiffen up and jumped back, as a black mass was gathering in center of the room. It reminded him of many demon appearances in the Disgaea games. A black shadow manifested, honestly it resemble a heartless which soon started to transform onto another form...a coat-jacket, winged, and tailed frog. With red skin, and a cute appearance...they'll facing a fake copy of Bad Tink. One of the main cast from Disgaea 2, funny and honestly a really fast character, that can be quite capable after putting some dedication on him. The only difference is this Tink doesn't seems fully sentient, and quite bigger than the real one.

Laharl, he got on his usual fighting stance, and was ready to fight. He warned the girls that while weak in durability, this monster packs a punch, and fast, but also never gather around him, since the Boss has self destruct attack. They nodded to his advice, as they got ready for battle. The Fake Tink roll into a ball, spinning in place, gaining speed, before rushing forwards like at them. This is the Fake Tink's Sonic Roll attack, they'd scattered away from the Boss as it slammed itself against the wall, and bounced off. Smacking onto the ground, Daki, she took the chance to attack, spreading out her obi-strands. Unleashing a massive amount of obi-strands, and layering them over each of them in a diamond pattern, as she swipe down her arms making these multiple, layered obi-strands, slice and severing the Boss. This is her Over-Layered Obi Severing technique, much of the terrain was cut apart on a diamond pattern. While the Fake Tink, was hit by Daki's huge attack. Raven and Kneesocks attacked from above, Raven sending black energy, magic bolts in a barrage, while Kneesocks spiked a pink magenta and golden energy ball onto the Boss, spamming her Cradle in the Dark technique. Causing a surge of explosions was happening, when a red ball blasted out the covered bruises and burns. Escaping the bombardment from the bishops, as the Fake Tink turned and headed towards Vii who's ready for the big frog. Vii stood there while her other bodies, Kii and Mii were standing by for this attack. Cerberus channeled demonic dark energy through their claws, once the Fake Tink was in the middle them. The Triplets leap at the Boss, swiping their claws dealing thirty magenta colored energy slashes to the Boss. That is Cerberus' Phantom Fists technique, causing considerable amounts of damage.

The Fake Tink, looked like it was still capable of fighting. And did the iconic angry arm swipes, like the original would do in the games. As the Boss took out a nail bat, to attack the Triplets, which Ruby jumped in and blocked the attack. As the Fake Tink start batting down on Ruby's Infernal Sword. Her strength and toughness easily handling the Boss' attack, as it wail down on her. Cerberus rushed the Boss from the sides, throwing punches and kicks, forcing the Boss to stop attacking Ruby, which let her to slash the Fake Tink across the flabby chest. Immediately the four of them, back off to avoid what their man's advice. Making the Boss angry again, using its rolling attack to go after Ruby and Cerberus. But Setsuna rushed in to engage the Boss this time. Slashing and stabbing the frog monster a couple of times. Earning her the Boss' attention, as it stopped its Sonic Roll, to attack with it's nail bat at Setsuna. Without the need to communicate, the team was making sure to watch each other's back and avoid grouping up, for a sudden suicide attack. She had a bit of difficulty blocking the heavy bat swings. But in the end Raven helped her, using her magic to hold down the Fake Tink, allowing Setsuna to create distance between her and the Boss.

With some distance now between them. Setsuna started channeling her demonic energy through her naginata. Spinning it, and forming a cyclone over the pole blade. With a slash she'd unleash a cyclone to blast and cut apart with her Cyclone Burst technique. The Fake Tink was blasted away from her attack. But even showing such amount of damage, it was still capable of fighting back, it survived all those big techniques and blows, as it showed a lot damage, but Laharl was already done with the Fake Tink. Rushing in at the Boss, as Fake Tink drew it nail bat to attack him. But Laharl was faster than the Boss, as he kicked it hard in the face and launched it high into the air. The girls already knew that he is going to use his Nightsever technique, as Laharl flew after the Fake Tink still soaring from previous kick. Laharl, he slashed the Boss with a dark energy and cursed flame coated attack. Causing a explosion and as the Fake Tink plummeted to the ground to explode again. He landed onto the marble floor, and his scarf transformed from wings back to it's scarf form. Fake Tink, was finally dead. Covered in burns, bruises, and cuts, as Laharl rested his Vritra Zanbato over his shoulder. Soon the girls join right next to him. The Boss faded away not leaving a body, apart from a huge amounts of red, blue, purple, and bit of white. Finally some white exp, as they all absorb the exp-drops and several of them managed to level-up. They turned to the middle of the room, where the Fake Tink first emerged appeared the waypoint. A light blue and white floating ring, he turned to the girls, and asked them, "Want to go onto the next area or rest for now?" they looked at each other. And they wanted to check-out the next area, walking over to the waypoint and teleported away.

Location the Catacomb Dungeon Area 4 The group appeared in a whole new area. They were what seems to be a tower, with platforms and Halloween like decoration everywhere. Again he recognized this place, this is the transition tower from the Demonworld to another inside of Cross Edge. This area they'll have to climb. And most likely some Cross Edge monsters, are waiting for them. Smirking, as Laharl told his girls to get ready, cause they'll have a long way up. They nodded and they started going further in the Demonworld Tower, obviously the Boss should be at the top, along with whatever kind of monsters that lurk in this tower.
