Chapter 291: Chapter 291: Polo, Part 1
The duo rushed forward, hammers in tow, with Shady swinging it violently around, acting as a radius to keep at bay the newlyweds to ensure they don't get close, whilst Solomon would go around bashing and slamming his into the metal, breaking it into smaller pieces, allowing Famine to leak out and corrode the stainless steel into a rusted brown, eroding it into mere specks of dirty copper.
The Bride immediately caught on and would try to throw herself at her opponent, in an attempt to catch them and pin them off from their horses, however, they galloped through them, with Solomon preparing his hammer to slam into her body, provoking its effects instantly, with one of the commandments glowing golden and burning her alive in the process. Small sparks were visible through the hammer, triggering an aggressive response, a sign of Wrath. The Groom noticed that she was being harmed because of such a style and threw himself into the Bride, a last ditch effort to ensure she would survive and keep going with her assault.
SHIKK!!!
A clean slash, one that cleaved off the metal that housed the commandments, slowly letting it be absorbed into the Groom, carrying its burden, his body lined with such markings, nodding towards her that he would be ok. The Bride, now freed, would go all out, utilizing all of her energy, alongside her Husband's, to fund a larger weapon, charging ahead and starting such energy off with a cavalcade of pins and spikes, raining down and trying to skewer the boy alive. Shady kept playing defensive, swinging his hammer in a circular motion to act as a barrier, swatting the cubes away, letting them bounce against the barrier in just enough of a reach to let Solomon strike them down and corrode it. She was beginning to be infuriated, swapping weapons, changing the pins and spikes into a mass array of rockets, all of them fired straight down in an attempt to blow them up at once. The Shadow merely laughed at it all. "THAT THE BEST YOU GOT, YAH OLD BAG!?" He'd taunt, having the horse hold itself, drifting slightly so as to get a perfect aim and swing his hammer.
BANG!!! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!!
Each rocket that was hurled towards the surrounding area was quickly smacked back, as if he was a baseball player aiming for a home run. The rockets would be struck with such force that it would result in a collective explosion, one after another. Because of his affinity as a Shadow, he doesn't have to worry about direct attacks as a whole. Solomon, meanwhile, charged around the place, watching the Groom try to catch up, casting his T.M Magic in order to lace the floor and air into an elaborate trap, lines upon lines of electric wires, all ready to electrocute the child in its grip. Solomon merely scoffed as he'd charge forward, using the hammer to swat at the Groom's shoulder, aggravating him, prompting him to enter in the device with him. As the two do so, Solomon would switch around the hammer and thrusted it straight into the floor, making him be pushed back as a result, with the horse utilizing its hind legs to do the same. While the shock was painful, it was also a drop in the bucket compared to the thunder and lightning the Groom was forced to experience, watching the clothes and body burst into flames, desperately trying to keep himself contained, desperately trying to escape, casting the Iron Maiden onto the Horse's legs to make it fall over and make Solomon deal with the trap once more.
Because of such blinding light from the Electricity, the boy merely expanded the small shadow, throwing himself into its reaches. The Groom, angered beyond belief, the markings from the commandments boring into him more and more, would manifest cattle prods in an effort to stop him, yet the Horse intervened. Enraged further, a wicked, metallic cry crawled out from its non-existent throat, as it tried to thrust such prods in order to stab and shock the beast. Each time he did such thrusts, the Horse quickly side-stepped the other way, dodging more and more, angering the Groom further and further, watching the Mask give way, revealing a proper head and face. The Horse took advantage of this and rushed forward, a Knee from its damaged leg to knock him up, another knee from his functional leg to keep him in the air, a straight hoof from the damaged to act as a left hook, letting the body part sway and clock him in his jaw, another straight hoof to push him back, leaving his neck and chest wide open, all to finish off with a back kick from its latter hooves, spiking the Groom straight back to the cage of thunder and lightning, letting him be fried with his own attack, before charging off.
It barely felt the pain, only fueled by the wrath that is War itself, the art of fighting. A Beast made to crush whomever dares to oppose it.
Meanwhile, Solomon would be quick in slipping to the Shadow's aid, hammer in tow, swinging it over and about, watching as the Bride was giving chase. "Shady! You mind?" Solomon asked, to which the Shadow would nod, passing him the hammer and utilizing the claws to strike back, extending and enlarging the shadow itself to grab ahold of the Bride, tossing her straight down to set up a devastating blow across her chest with two of the hammers, corroding the metal in her torso and stomach, finally wearing her down. The last of such metals were starting to disappear, nothing more than mere specks. Solomon simply grinned as he'd keep having the horse go around the area, passing the Shadow's hammer back, readying his own, his eyes focused towards the Bride. He wasn't going to let this opportunity slip by him again.
He's got them cornered, after dealing with such agony.
